Hello, hello, hello, everybody, so it's been a really really long time since I found for me a video, I think it's been like rough a year now so yeah, but you know, since I'm at home 24/7. I thought why not try making videos again. So I don't know if any of you remember, but almost exactly a year ago I tried to dye my hair, blue and so as some sort of redemption, I'm going to try dyeing it through again today, actually not today, over a span of a lot of days. So yeah, actually we wore this exact shirt when I dyed my hair so yeah. So what I'm gon na do today is that I'm going to try and lighten my hair using hydrogen peroxide and baking soda yeah. Let'S get started all right before mom. Okay, cleanup: hey thanks Isaac, yeah click, save a package me package from my friend hey, so I just came back, went down yeah. They gave me pancakes so cute hello. It is day 9 and I'm not going to be lightening my hair anymore, because it's very very, very damaged. So here are my final remarks: tranya. What who wants to do this? So I think that's if you're gon na do this? Definitely don't do it it basic. I didn't because you're gon na cut your hair, but it really works, as you can tell. My hair is like a bright orange if you want to lighten your hair. This is definitely a great alternative for Bleach, especially if you just want to go a few shades. Lighter so let me careful when you're doing it and don't leave it too long, because you're really gon na damage your hair yeah thanks for watching like and subscribe, also stay at home.

mcry: TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DO THIS: 1) USE CONDITIONER. The difference is huge on your hair and it'll wash off faster and will do less damage. I used like half the amount I when I normally wash my hair. 2) 30-40 minutes max is more that enough. Use a blow-dryer if you want for few minutes but more than 1 hour is very harmful. 3) Dont wash your hair for s few days before doing this and if you want to do this 2-3 times leave several days in-between, so your natural hair oils do their thing. I did this twice on my dyed hair (dyed a dark honey blonde, close to my natural colour that is a very dark-grey blonde). First time my hair got a lightish orange. I left it on for 30 minutes and I used a hairdryer the last 10 minutes (on a medium heat and far away from my head), it lifted my hair almost 2 shades. Second time (4 days after) it turned into a light orange shade after 40 minutes with no hair dryer (again 2 shades lighter) How to tone if you can't find blue shampoo or are way too expensive where you live: I mixed blue food coloring drops, a 3% developer and a normal shampoo and left it for like 40 minutes till it stained my hair. In conclusion, it works so be very careful. Like bleach it can dry and will fry your hair if you left it for too long, or don't use a conditioner in the mix. It will be spotty and some places (like your roots) will be lighter or white. If you live somewhere with sun I'd recommend to let your hair dry in the sun to get some natural highlights on top of this so it doesn't look that random and 'homemade'

Edit: I did it on my mom to lighten her hair it did get damaged it’s texture just changed but when she got in the shower the texture became soft again and the second time nothing happened it just lightened her hair and now she has light red hair

jackie Villa: I’ve know this since I was a kid I’m 32 now.. just put peroxide on a spray bottle and spray starting at the tips do this like onece or twice w in a week and your will lighten ur hair for some nice highlights if u do it correctly u can get that sun kissed hair look.. also heat is the second main ingredient my mom would tell me to spray my hair and go let it naturally dry it in the sun.

This homemade bleaching method is supposed to have 5-6 days interval every after bleach so your hair will have some rest. I do this bleaching too and it never damaged my hair.

Ashley: If anyone wants to know how to really put this into a effect: Blow dry heat with the solution already in your hair. You’ll literally start to see it lighten. The heat and the peroxide is what really works together to get it really light. This definitely isn’t the best though. I did this in middle school and it damaged my hair :/

Billiejean: although this seems to be effective, but i don't recommend to do this day after day, you're still breaking into your hair follicle and causing damage.. this should be done the first day followed by at-least after two weeks to allow hair strands to restore..glad it worked out tho!
