No Bleach! Balayage With Permanent Hair Color

That'S our bread and butter in the salon I take. My daddy color has something for everybody, but you know what I saw. That'S really cool. This dumpster behind us says shadow. So the way we're gon na combat that is we're gon na use, our new shadow ash and wicked shadow series showers. Ten shallow ash 9/10 means it has less pigment, it's more pigmented when inside a lower level, and this less pigmented with instead of higher level we're gon na do strand test, because I feel like doing a strand test is so important to give you the confidence to Move forward, I think it's smart to do a strand test. If you are aware of how it behaves, you know how to form that correctly. I can't stress how important is to do a strand says something: clients don't know they're, not a virgin because they put something on their hair, like maybe they have a. I think it's natural all right, so we're gon na do wicked shadow ten and then we're gon na do shadow ash ten side by side and then we're gon na compare them which tonality do we want. You can see that this is wicked shadow. Ten wicked shadow has a green gray background pigment to neutralize, and if you want to mute out anything you shall ash ten. My plan of action is: I'm gon na use our thick activator 30 volume to balayage it in. So that's the cool thing about the thick activators. You could use it with stroke, seven when you balayage or could use it with the color when you're lifting with permanent color, permanent hair, color lifts and then deposit. So we have ten do a DL and permanent. A lot of people think you just have to bleach or line the hair to put dusty lavender on. That'S not the case. Think of dusty lavender as like a violet smokey base when you're lifting you're getting a pearlized violet tone to cancel out yellow, and then we have ten sp8 SP, almost like a smoke. Charcoal tone is permanent, so a lot of times. We think we have to bleach the hair again to put silver down, but also know that if the hair is at level five or six and you want to create like a smoky caramel cuz know I the level five you're gon na combat orange and yellow you Still gon na get a caramelized tone so that way you realize how flexible our hair color line really is the dual boosters are so important. I think a lot of people look at them and they think they're just fashion colors, but I mostly use them to help me neutralize and enhance some of my other tones. That'S why it's called dual booster. You could put it in their dim eye or a permanent color. What does blue do? Besides make the hair blue on blonde hair cancels orange cancels orange. So if you're dealing with lifting my hair, I don't want to have orange a little goes. A long way. You don't want to put too much and then right, paranormal situation. You could also use ultraviolet booster on lighter levels because violet was it, do it neutralizes, yellow. So when you're mixing with a thick activator know that you're gon na measure it one-to-one ratio, is this gon na thicken up the viscosity, the textures? So when you apply to the hair, you could balayage with it. So we're gon na do shadow ash 10 you're going to go four levels up so know that when you're going four levels of ash, color neutralize cooler tones appear darker and warmer tones appear lighter one to one ratio squeeze that thick. You could get on my daddy color calm, we're gon na stick it in, but I'm going to show you guys what the thick activator does. So when you mix the color up, you could turn the bowl upside down and nothing spills out, and the kit also comes with these balayage paddles, which will change your life. Don'T get scared of it. I know it looks minty and green. The hair will not turn green, do not put it on yellow light hair like this, do not put it on this, so I'm gon na take a triangular section, always start low in the middle and work the product up. You don't want too much product. You only want enough product on the bristle to feather if you get low club here they get the back of the tail of the brush and just kind of swipe it down, and when you do that, you see how it just blends it right through. Remember: you're not trying to penetrate the hair. You are kissing the surface and underneath alright, so keep in mind, do not put too much product on the bristle here, but look how I'm stroking look how feather-light that is. So I'm just gon na let this sit on her hair and let her process for 30 minutes and we're gon na come back to turn. In which side do we want alright? So it's been 30 minutes we're ready. Actually, my hair looks kind of like give me that my dirty side spray. Yes, I need the dry shampoo to kind of pump up my volume, you, the my dirty side, is our new dry shampoo, you guys, if you want no so good that smells delicious. You can smell it too. You like so good, makes me want dessert. She wasn't paid to say it. She came out from mouth right god. I love it. It'S not so much. It'S not there's no white residue and look how much volume I have now. Let'S peel her open, oh my god! That'S the wicked look how light it is! The green has, yellow and blue to make green. So you can see the yellow in the green is bringing out that gold, but the gold gets muted from the blue. That'S in the green, so you don't see the orange so now you're, getting this beautiful wood tone all right, so we're gon na peel open shadow ash ten! So keep in mind. This is a grey blue base and we're talking about muting out stuff right thing about charcoal, so looking at side by side, there is lightness, but it's so muted. That is very soft. Give me your hand darling. Let'S do it. Let'S do this and, of course, when the shrimp are out with my Cavanaugh shampoo and my confident conditioner look how natural those highlights are and even on her hair wet, you can see the shimmer coming through, it's always afraid of it. Looking unnatural, not looking like me, don't worry, you're, not gon na be green blue. Next to it is shadow ash 10 right here that smoky muted, charcoal eye stone, literally smoked out her color and lightened it she's darker here with a little 6 lighter here, while still looking smoked out, we didn't put any styling products or anything like this is just Shampoo conditioner and that's it we needed this - is missing from our collection, personal we're gon na do her full head with which one should we do. You'Re gon na draw attention to them, and it's gon na look like breakage get minimal amount product on the brush start in the middle work. Your way up use the mess sheet to lay the hair down.
