Hello babes and welcome to a new video here on my channel. If you don't know me maybe you're new here, my name is elena. I do a lot of hair videos, makeup videos, um and stuff. Today, i am going to show you guys how i do my bleach baths. That'S hard to say for a sweet. Like me, bleach baths is something that i just like to last year heard about for the first time, and i actually think it was some of you guys watching my videos that asked me or ordered me to do a bleach bath, because i always bleach my hair. Just when i wan na, like rinse out the color, which is totally unnecessary to do a full bleach on your hair, so a bleach bath, if you don't know, is a way to strip out the color of your hair without damaging it as much as doing a Full bleach, as you guys, can see um my hair is blue, not just a little blue. It'S a lot of blue going on turquoise. I guess i dyed my hair gray. You guys can see that video up here, and this is how it looks after only three washes and my hair was completely silver when i started so it was a lot of blue tones in this gray, hair color, but i kind of had that coming didn't i So we are going to do a bleach bath today because in a few days i'm going to dye my hair, another color, which i'm so excited about, and you guys actually chose the color already on my instagram. Also. I want to put some on my roots just to lighten them a little bit for the next tie, all right, so you need a bowl of some sort. I love these ones from arctic fox. I also have the arctic fox brush and then in sweden. It'S not really common to use like just powder bleach and the activator peroxide. It'S color, i don't know um. We usually just buy boxed eyes, and i know it's. I mean it's common everywhere, but in sweden i think it's even more common kind of not really sure either way. I love these ones from the pen, they are cruelty free and they are vegan and i use them all the time. So in that package you actually get two of that one powder bleaches and one of these jojoba activators. Here we go, let's try and get the most out of it. There you go, you can see, and then we put in the powder i'm just gon na mix. It a little bit like that all right and then i just eyeball. I boil eyeball how much i have in this bowl and i put in some stripping shampoo, pretty much any shampoo, but this one from the body shop. I absolutely love about. It is a anti-dandruff shampoo, so it does strip away the color faster than some others. I'M gon na put that in. I feel like this is so weird to do, but this is how you do it and it works. So i just put in pretty much like half of what i have in here. Can you guys see yeah, and i just mix this in when i did this? The first time i felt like i was doing something like illegal, putting bleach with anything else than peroxide, or the thing that you put in it activator thingy, i felt like, was so wrong and so scary to do, but whatever next step that i'm gon na do Is i'm gon na put in some molap likes? I don't really know if this is even necessary to do, because this is very gentle to your hair, but i have it at home, so i'm just gon na put in a little bit of that to prevent the damage. So here we have it. I'M just gon na part, my hair a little bit, i'm not that uh precise, i was gon na, say i'm never precise when it comes to dyeing or bleaching or doing anything to my hair, but i'm just gon na. Do it like this. I'M gon na put up this as well. No, oh, you know what i'm actually going to change my shirt. Okay, you know what i'm not gon na change. My shirt, i'm just gon na, take it off now, i'm gon na put on some gloves and i'm just gon na put this mixture into my head. I hate that sound. I don't really know if you should skip your roots first, but that's what i usually try and do when i bleach my hair as normal, so i'm just gon na do that now as well. I don't really have any rush, so i don't know if you guys can see this, but here it's already starting to strip so much of it and as you guys can see, i'm taking like huge chunks of my hair. But it's just because i know it's going to strip away the most of the color anyways and also i know what color i'm gon na die. So i'm not really scared that it won't work out. You know i just massage it into my hair and that way can feel if it's everywhere you know, hopefully you guys can see it's starting to be blonde here. Do you guys have any like horror stories from when you bleached your hair, because which can be just so strong, sometimes and when i was younger and still lived with my dad, i bleached my hair. I think it was for a video. Actually, i don't know if i told you when i did the video but yeah it was a long time ago, but when i bleached my hair, i um fainted because i breathe in so much of the toxics. I guess i can still feel it like sometimes, but it is so strong. Sometimes i feel like like my eyes. Also they hurt, but that's what you got ta do to be pretty. I guess it's actually kind of scary when you think about it. Okay, you guys see where i put some bleach in my roots. I'M just gon na do this last part and then i'm right after going to put the bleach on my roots and there we go now. I'M gon na wait for half an hour or something and then i'm gon na rinse it out, and then i will be back so you guys can see how much it faded. It has been 30 minutes and i just wanted to show you guys how it looks before i rinse it. As you guys can see, my roots are bright, yellow, and this is now how the blue looks all right here. We go as you guys can see. It is pretty much blonde all over. It'S like these two pieces that are a bit greenish still, but it's going to be perfect for my next shade. I am now going to use the dream coat from color wow, which is my absolute like obsession right now. It makes your hair look so beautiful, and then you guys this is not a collaboration, but i will have a collaboration with this product on my instagram, but i just have to include it here as well, because now, when i have bleached my roof and my roots Are a bit like sensitive, i feel i've had problems with that. My like entire hair journey. When i bleach my hair, my roots do get, or my scalp, i should say, do get a bit sensitive and can hurt it can itch this new product from the body shop, the ginger skull serum, so being good. What i do i just take a little bit of it, and i just put it in my roots. This is how i usually do it. I just put it in here and then i pull out so good, so i'm just gon na add a little bit of that all over and there we go now. I'M gon na blow dry, my hair by listening to a podcast hello. How is this even possible, and also, how is my hair this long? I feel like it was like a few months ago when i cut it to here. It'S long right. To be honest, i hate this length. I hate it so much. I want it to be here or to my belly button. This bleach bath really does everything that i wanted to do, and it also bleaches my roots perfectly, because my hair is already blonde, so i don't really need to bleach it that much. This is great for minimal damage. Maybe there is another way to do it, but for me this is perfect and i feel like my hair can really take it. My hair can take anything i feel like, but it's really minimal damage and i can really tell hope you guys enjoyed. Please give me a like and comment down below something fun subscribe. If you wan na, it would be fun if you did um also check out my vlogging channel. If you want to see more vlogs from my life have a great day guys, and i love you - have a great day. Bye.

caffeine fiend: i know this is a hair video and I'm loving it but can we just take a moment to fangirl over your eyeliner because it is _everything_ <3

オートミールIlikeoatmealmorethanyou: bleach baths are actually meant to be done on the hair wet and is usually a very short process! usually only left on for 10 to 15 minutes max. the process you did in this video is more like just a regular bleaching with some shampoo in the mixture so just as damaging as a normal process. try this in the shower on wet/damp hair next time :D . ( creds - i'm a hairstylist :') )

Melissa: Got this recipe from a hairdresser a long time ago and it works like a charm! Recipe for a bleaching bath: 5 grams conditioner 10 grams shampoo 15 grams water 40 grams developer 20vol./6% 40 grams powdered bleach

Kelly: my bleach horror story was from like 2015, I dyed my hair fuchsia to orange ombre with Splat hair dye. my hair was near to my waist and after a couple months my natural blonde roots grew out like 4 to 5 inches. my mom didn't like the natural roots showing so we went to her hair dresser and the lady tried a bleach bath first and nothing happened. Note that when I got in the chair I told the hair dresser that if she couldn't get the color out with a bleach bath then I wanted her to just color my roots to match the rest of the color in my hair., I guess she forgot or something but she used professional 40 volume bleach on my hair that was only dyed once, she left me under the heat/dryer machine then proceeded to tell the other girls to rinse me out after 30 minuets and she left to go out dancing with her friends. I was probably under that dryer for like 45 minuets to an hour. My hair was ruined! My hair went from almost waist length to just above shoulder length and was urine colored and SO crispy! I was lucky to have my now current stylist notice me still under the dryer and wash the bleach out of my hair right away after asking why I was still sitting under the dryer, she chopped off most of my hair until it was about shoulder length and gave me 4 free keratin treatments. I legit had the worst fear of hair stylists and hair salons for the longest time.

Nina Savic: I actually liked your hair color before, it matched your eyes perfectly. Don't get me wrong tho, you can rock any color! ☺

Hanna Pajanen: Thank you Evelina, you really are the first tuber that uses "box bleach", here in Finland they only sell separate bleach etc to pro hairdressers. The rest of us must figure out a way to achieve the bestest result with the stuff we can buy. You gave new ideas and tips to get great results even without the class A products! And your makeup is AWESOME!!

Ashley Hope : I’m glad I found this video! I over toned my bleach blonde hair and now it’s blue-green-silver & I don’t know what to do. I’m scared to bleach my hair again but I think my hair will be fine with a bleach bath, and I’m in Canada and can’t get bleach powder & developer in stores here either! Glad to see it works with box bleach

Kyra: I think your hair actually looks really good this length!

Kim Schortmann: When Evelina said "I want it (the length) to be here, or to my belly button" I felt that in my soul lol

Laura Combs: i love your hair this length!! i know it’s hard to not cut it but it’s just so flattering on youuuu

Alexasrros3s: my bleach horror story is actually only a couple months ago. i tried bleaching my hair twice in one night, the first try came out fine but the second try went horribly. my hair was breaking and i decided just to leave it. in the morning it had dried and was so crunchy and i ended up having to chop it all off

Karina Dolores: Hej, Evelina. I also dyed my hair grey but with Pravana, after watching your old silver hair video. After a couple of washes it was a Mint-blue color. I hated it. But what saved me was ColorB4 haircolor remover. It can be found on Lyko too. It does NO damage AT ALL and is used to remove the color molecules from semi-permanent dyes and permanent. I used the product and all blue was completely gone. I'm now an ashy silver blonde with no blue tones. Just a recommendation maybe you can try it on a video?

Brittany: When I was younger I was using Splat bleach (yeah I know horrible) but I mixed the bleach and I didn’t cut the top off the bottle before I mixed and it sat for a few seconds when I was putting my hair up in the sections and well, it exploded. Into my eye. I had to go to the hospital. It was not a fun time.

Boryana Stoyanova: Girl, I have the same problem, I hate my hair lengths right now (pretty much as long as yours) and I want it either above shoulders short or waist long but I think it’s easier to maintain when it’s short so I’ll be cutting it soon

Manar: Lets take a minute to appreciate her makeup! GURL!

Aniyah Lyszt: I actually adore the blue-green faded look that the (shocked!) silver colour deposited on your hair. It's quite flattering in my opinion. Stay fabulous, friend! Blessed be!

Suh: me watching Evelina use box dye ilysm but if anyone reading this is thinking of doing the same plssss get powered lightener & developer!! Also look into Olaplex. It will save the integrity of you hair from sooo much damage done while bleaching. Just keep in mind that when you mix it into your lightener & developer it weakens your developer so you want to go 1 vol up when using Olaplex. Soo if you use 20 vol regularly, you use 30 vol with olaplex... and lighten your roots last because the heat from your scalp processes them much faster than the mid-shaft and ends xoxox edit: I want to add that your hair will only lighten so much during one process so if you have super dark hair it may take two or three times to get it light enough to add vivid colors, gray or pastels. Take at least a week break between sessions, the longer the better. After an hour (usually sooner) the lightener won't lift anymore, so never leave it on any longer than that.

Velod: I have a horror story with bleaching my hair. I had purple highlights done at Ulta. I continued reapplying semi permanent purple dye all over my hair to keep it vibrant. I decided I wanted to bleach a few more of my "virgin" hair at home to have more purple highlights. My hair lifted nicely near the roots. But.... the ends were green and it didn't lift that green color I applied purple on the newly bleached hair and now it looks grey, dark green, lilac and purple. Except for the green looking ends, I liked the result.......

Maria J. Ingegneri: It worked like charm! Thank you so much :)

Julia. W: Make sure the box says what level the developers are for anyone that’s going to use a bleach and also try to use a coloring protein and or reds/orange as a base before doing a dark tone as a brown something.

Gwen Mauney: Another option you can do is take a dandruff shampoo and calcium pills (or powder if you can find it) , crush up the pills as best you can and mix them into the shampoo until its a little thicker consistency and spread that onto the hair and let it sit as long as you want. It take a few times depending on how much dye is in your hair but it does not damage your hair!

M L: Thank you for making this video its helpful because my hair is damaged as hell and I need some help I'm thinking of doing a bleach bath But your eyeliner was so distracting in the best way possible. Like I just really appreciate everything about it honestly

Alexandra Webster: I bleached my hair myself about 6 years ago. My hair snapped off in some parts. I looked like Rod stuart

heyysimone: I got my hair bleached and toned today by my salon. Its not as light as i wanted it, but it was as good as we could get it. The parts that really toned went silver/grey but i have a sort of golden tone on top. Im looking to see if a bleach bath might help to lighten it some more, but im definitely going to go to the hair product store - they also have an attached salon - and ask then which products to buy.

Glenna Trone: I am going to try this tomorrow, someone suggested it when I told them I'm changing colors. You have/had a similar color to mine so I am excited to see it is effective.

MERCHIODOS: I remember the first time I bleached my hair when I was 17. So I had been dying my hair black and I wanted to dye my hair pink, so I bleached it with 30 vol developer as I read it was a quick way of getting black to blonde in little time and when I did it damaged my hair so much that brushing it made huge chunks of hair to come out, it look like my was balding in some area. I was so angry as I had long hair. My sister ended up cutting the dead hair and it was so much. I grew back my hair and never used 30 vol again.

Christina Spooky: In the states its powder bleach and you need a delevoper and yes you do your roots LAST. The roots develop faster because of the heat from your scalp.

Bobbi Hayes: That ginger body shop shampoo is my FAVOIRITE if reccomend it to everyone whether you get dandruff or not, it smells amazing, wakes you in in the morning, and really takes care of your scalp even if you have a sensitive scalp

Alicia Rosario: Absolutely inlove with that color on you !! Totally off topic but if you can prettyyyyy pleeeease make a eyeliner tutorial or just a whooole tutorial on that look I would be over the moon✨

Aaliyah Wease: Question for the hair stylists, I used to do blonde highlights and now I’m just going full blonde but my ends are now a bit darker (orange) compared to my roots, can I do a bleach bath to make it match?

Keiko Bushnell: I kinda like the light green before the bleach processed! You’d look good with the color you used on your eyeliner!

Tuff_bubblegum: For people wondering you can remove vivids like this without bleach! Use a toner (opposite on color wheel to neutralize) with a 20vol developer, or even just the developer in its own! Do a strand test first, and it’s always best (and only really works) on faded hair

L M: I wish I knew about bleach baths in my teens. I bleached my hair and dyed it bright red. When my roots started to grow out, I bleached it again. My hair was so lifeless... like a rubber band. I had to cut it all off!

Jamie Rego: You are so pretty I love this makeup look!

Pyromaniacal Magpie: My horrorstory: I used one of the splat brand blue dyes. Don't remember which one. Got a lovely Hatsune Miku coloured kind of blue. I wanted to dye it pink afterwards, and didn't want the blue tones making it come out more purple. I spent weeks using dandruff shampoos, dish soaps, and a few bleach rinses to try and fade the colour out. I turned green and the green was NOT budging. I tried a full on bleach afterwards and it didn't do a single thing to take the green out. So now I'm green AND straw dry. I eventually died a light brown over it because I didn't have many options. My hair was basically straw all year afterwards.

LORENZR: not me watching her say "my hair is BLUE" with her cute little light blue hair while I'm here with a semi-permanent deep indigo hair that I want out

Bobbi Hayes: The first time I ever bleached my hair to try and go blonde I used 8 box bleaches and boy was that a mistake.. came out like chewing gum, I had to get my waist length hair cut into a pixie

Sara Grace: Pulp Riots Color Oops color remover is the best product I’ve ever used to remove color. I had 10 years+ black hair dye and was a level 7 (dark blonde) in 30 minutes.

Jem Gallardo: You can try mixing bleach powder + antidandruff/clarifying shampoo next time. It won't lift virgin hair because there are no peroxide in the mix, it just takes out color :)

cece Edits: Same thing has happened to me, my hair was white or more platinum blond and I bought grey dye and my hair was grey for a little time until after like two or three washes my hair turned blue green I want to do a bleach wash but I’ve bleached my hair five times I don’t know if my hair can handle it anymore

NefFy: I think if you add that serum before you bleach your hair it will help protect your scalp but the bleach will still beat your hair for sure because it will go right through anything coconut oil shampoo hairspray go through it I think that might be a good idea though if it helps afterwards it should help before too

Lisa Goetsch: I don’t have bleach horror stories, but I had blue and green in my hair and I could not get rid of it. I dyed my hair black and it still stayed blue. I tried like 3 or 4 times to dye over the blue and it would still show thru each time. Took ages and only went away when I finally cut it my hair.

G: Your hair is getting long again and that length is the worst I just passed it and I’m holding on beautiful as always, makeup on point

Annabelle van der Scheer: In The Netherlands you also cant buy developer and the bleach powder in normal shops. I can buy it online easily though. I prefer it cause then you can pick the developer %

Carolina Lopez Ruvalcaba: this isn’t a bleach bath..but it looks great!

Mostly Anthologies: Honestly, you may be the only one on earth, that loves abusing her follicles as much as me. But the difference is you are drop dead gorgeous. I am not. So when I mess up my hair, I'm done. And...I messed up my hair with arctic fox. And it's too damaged to bleach again since it's double bleached from past colors. I'm screwed. But you are gorgeous! You should be a model. I don't have antidandruff shampoo. Can I use regular shampoo with my bleach?

Lav Ender: I always bleach my hair shirtless, it's just easier that way! XD

Assbat 1: Her eyes are absolutely stunning, girl yes.

Sindar Living: This is great I got box bleach and taking to test the bottom half l hope it works

Marchioness Darby: I’m excited for your new hair color!

Carolina Cobain: have you tried the manic panic bleach? did you like it?

GuidetteExpert: soo how does the hair feel and how does the hair feel after 6 months?

Heather Emshoff: Dyed my hair purple but it kept leaking out so I was like I'll just bleach it back..well I bleached my hair 6× after that. I shaved my head lol

Senna P: If your hair color is smth like the green at the end of the video just use color theory to cancel it out. For example my friend was stuck w a pastel blue hair for a long time and didn't want use any bleach, so we made pastel orange dye w ALOT of conditioner and put it on her hair. It turned out this dark blonde and slightly peachy color which was quite close to her natural hair color.

jaclyn weber: Box bleach I'm sure is 20 volume developer. Bleach wash should be 10 volume to prevent damage. So it's best to just buy the powder and developer from a store that sells it separately or order online separately.

Karina Gaertner: Only 3 washes? That's bad! D: anyway, love your hair videos

BirBey1909: I have only oily eczema in my hair for 3 years, so only itching. Is it okay if I add a 1 teaspoon of bleach to a 1 liter(water) spray can?

Rachel Lawson: Good job! it IS getting long!!! ❤❤❤

PM Hair Design: Love you blond Your such a cutie Hope your having a good day Love from Australia

nina djordjevic: help my hair was lavender at first but then it faded out to that blue/green color like yours in the beginning. Right now it's completely turquoise and i want to make it lavender/greyish without completely bleaching it again. what do i do?

El Slay: Perfectly done, love from Cornwall England

Ch28: What’s the result difference in using a stripper instead? Also if you used a hair stripper?

Sophia Forsberg: I think this colour ir really cool Evelina, keep it^.*

Yuuki Hyuuga: Idk why...i love that blonde/green hair on you ♡

Linden Davison-hardy: I love your hair that length and longer too

beebikinis: Yesss your hair will be so much healthier ✌ And don't get me started on about those green greys out there... Mixing pink in them helps, but they still fade ugly imo. Best grey and most beautiful fade is makki cosmetics, hands down.

Susan Jäderberg: In Sweden we(clients/normal people)can only get box dye. Real developer and powder bleach is only for a certified hairdresser to buy. So we dont have that in stores.

Sara’ Patrick: THREE WASHES?!?! Thank you for talking about that because I have wanted to go silvery grey but nah lol

Cass V: Wait anyone know the other YouTuber who looks EXACTLY like this girl, same style, similar accents and even similar video topics! I was so confused

Andreina Estrada Banda: You should try the adore semi permanent hair dyes there are the best lasts longer.

paige k: What volume developer did you use?

Crystal: I feel growing my hair out and I’m in the middle and I’m like hmmm do I wait or do I chop

Lela: What eyeshadows do you use?:)

Jonah Zimmerman: ur piercing looks so good on you !! ur an angel

Diana Schofield: To help out we call the liquid added to color or bleach "developer"

TraSiah Dominique: Does it anyone know if it is good to do a bleach bath on previously boxed dyed black hair?

Kal: In norway you can't even get bleach powder and developer so possibly may be the case for sweden aswell. xD

cansu: Will you maybe do a hair cutting video again? Love those videos and love you

Betsy Smith: I want to see greeeennnn! Like seafoam green! Orrr mint ice cream green! Yes, that would be great.

SarahSaidThat: It’s funny go see someone use TBS products :3 I work at the body shop :3

Ellyn Madisen: Don’t watch this if you need a tutorial, OMG

Mariela Hernandez: My dumbass decided to bleach my hair while sleepy two years ago. I took a "quick" nap and my hair fell out in the shower

Em Bee: No. You dont section for a bb. Just slap it on as quick as you can and rub it in like shampoo. Its only supposed to be on for 5 mins so sectioning it wastes time

NativeAmericanSpirit92: I would love to do rainbow hair like what most women are doing these days, but I'm afraid of bleach. My natural hair color is black, and I have attempted bleach on it about 6 times (separate years). All 6 times failed because my hair would dry out, and become like straw, just tons of breakage everywhere, and Olaplex, masks, and deep conditioners didn't work. I ended up buzzing my head bald, and now I just keep my natural black color. I have however thought about getting a real human hair wig, and coloring it myself.

Jen: manic panic har bra blekningar som inte är box-dye blekningar. går att köpa på lyko, bluefox.nu och shock.se vad jag vet. mycket enklare att göra bleachbath med dom! (:

Taylor Kelly: Your hair really has grown i went back to videos like 8 months ago and it was at your chin. Most hair grows half an inch a month so like 4 inches would be common but it looks like so much more growth give me some my hair takes forever

Niomi Lind McAllister: Activator, also known as developer

Lea Esteves: I need a vídeo for this makeup. Look pleaseeee❤️

redshoulder18: Olaplex rocks!!! :D

mslolfunnybunny: Your eyeliner is POPPIN

Kaleigh Adkins: Welp time to dye my hair again lol

jandi kum: hello super video I want to change the color of my hair. But my hair is not very healthy, it is a little worn. I have black dye on my hair and will this process work for me without damaging my hair?

KenzieHurlock: She's just like "it's blonde all over except for the front is green" honey it's all green.

Katie Jasukow: I love love ur make up ur so beautiful

Christiana: You look so much like Emilia Clarke!

3525: Why did you add the blurring on the corner of the frame? I can’t tell if it was to hide a wedding ring or anything... whatever you’re trying to hide it’s working lol

AsleepClover79: I'm sorry. I usually wait to make a comment until I've seen thru the whole video but I need a pause while I wait for my eyebrows to lower from the shock. That's after THREE washes from that silver gray! Oh my goodness.

Diamond Roses: YOUR EYE MAKE UP AT THE BEGINNING o.m.g I'm jealous

aensly: im at that awkward midlength right now too hahah i hate it too
