Hi, i'm salorm and i'm someone who has never ever ever colored their hair before and i'm hoping today. I can change that. I'M going to try to go blonde, but i'm not going to be using any products with bleach. My hair has always been very fragile when it comes to pretty much everything. I have a hair texture where you're supposed to moisturize your hair and also wrap it up at night. When i was younger, i rarely did that, and on top of that i also got a permanent junior high. In order for me to have color in my hair, i would have to bleach it a lot. Those chemicals, i feel like would add a lot of damage to my hair that i really don't need. So how am i going to do this? You ask. I found a lot of videos of youtubers using this hair. Coloring paint slash wax that lets them apply. Color to their hair, but it looks really natural from the camera. At least it looks like their hair has been dyed, so i did some research and i found two products that it seems like a lot of youtubers have been using, so i'm gon na try these two products out and then i'm gon na wear them. For the rest of the day, just to see how they look after a few hours, okay, so the first product we got is called hair paint wax very literal. It'S very gold on my fingers. It looks like iridescent best used on curly hair textures. Well, what do you know so i'm supposed to dampen my hair while using these products, so i'm just gon na take my little spray bottle, i'm just gon na spritz it all over my hair. So here we go. Oh my god wow! I don't know. I don't know if this is my blonde, i'm not quite sure. Maybe it's too soon to tell i feel like goldilocks right now holy, oh guys, you know who i look like. I look like patty mayonnaise from doug we're the same person right. I don't watch this. Show so i don't know who this is now. I look like that. Guy from dragon ball z, uh, i'm going to let this dry for a bit and i'll tune back in with you guys to give you a little update on what's going on with my head. So, as you can see, it's dried a lot. It'S a little bit blonde. I feel like i get a kind of greenish tint from it, which i didn't really see originally in the room. Maybe i should put this on my eyebrows too. Okay, my boyfriend's here i'm gon na film, his reaction, real quick, hi, holy sh that looks really good. It does yeah. Oh thank you. That looks really i like it. Do you like it. I wasn't expecting you to like it really okay, so maybe it does look good, never mind. I don't like it so i finished applying this sometime around 5 30 and it's now 7. 11. So it's had quite the time to dry. So i was in a meeting while i was waiting for it to dry and i was kind of playing with my hair and all of a sudden. I noticed that it was like speckles all over my shirt. If i do this, there's definitely still residue. That comes off on my hands. It still to me looks like color on top of my hair, rather than my hair color i feel like. I would not feel that cute walking around outside with this. I don't want to roll it completely out, because we still have one more hair paint wax to try. Okay, hello. It is day two we are done with the other hair dye. I washed my hair last night and honestly, it all came out pretty easily, which i'm pretty surprised about so today, i'm gon na be trying the same color that i tried yesterday, but a different brand called mopajang, very golden, very beautiful um, very thick kind of like Lotion almost they look very identical, but i have to say from what i've seen from reviews. These products are not the same. They definitely do look different so right away. I'M noticing that, like, i feel like i'm getting a lot more coverage right away than i was with the other one. This is a very different yellow kind of with this one, i'm not finding myself having to use as much product to cover my hair, the color's able to just be so bold and so bright on such a dark hair color, it blows my mind all right. We did it: okay, okay, these are the last ones. I promise don't. I look like richard simmons. Don'T i look like solange? Don'T i look like beyonce? Don'T i look like justin timberlake? Actually, wait. Wait! I just look like justin timberlake. That'S it! That'S! That'S it! This color looks amazing. I love this. It looks a lot more real, it's still wet, so we're gon na wait till it dries, but i think it looks really freaking good okay, so i'm outside - and this is what it looks like in the sun - a little bit different from the other lighting. But i still like it, i think the color looks pretty consistent to the way that it looked inside, it's not too different, but yeah. I think it works. Facetime joyce. Do you like my hair? It'S interesting! It'S interesting. What is interesting, but i think you look great. Oh, thank you um. Basically, i like use this like um hair, wax paint yeah, it's not actually blonde. Okay, yeah, i'm kind of weird. I was like the minute she finds out. It'S not real she's gon na give me her real opinion. Oh one out of ten. What would you rate it? Oh, that's not that great, but not that bad okay. So it's been quite a few hours. I have to say i really like this very much a different color, but i feel like i could rock it. I'M like getting like faux hawk vibes. Maybe i could lift it up. Do a little like cute punk rock kind of thing. Mopajang really worked for me um. It was a lot easier to put on. It was a lot easier to get a lot of coverage. There'S a reason that it's a temporary hair dye and that's because it's paint i've watched a lot of these videos and to be real on camera. It can look a little bit misleading, but if you really touch it, it feels like. I have paint on my hair. The residue is like falling off like snowflakes onto my shoulder. I think i would use these products for a photo shoot or for something where someone is going to be looking at me far away. The whole point was: was i able to go blonde without bleach? And yes, i was it's still a really fun thing to try so give it a shot. Okay, wait! One more! I look like luxelle duh

J9: i tried CurlSmith hair makeup on my 3b curls & it was a meh for me :/ the results are cute for a day or so but for someone who only washes her hair once a week, it wasn't for me. after day 3, the smell becomes extremely potent due to its natural ingredients & the residue that you can feel on your hair feels very dry, almost like a static-feel. if you wanna use hair makeup, i would suggest doing it for a special occasion or maybe when you wanna pair it with a really dope outfit that would go well with a fun color. otherwise, embrace the natural ✨

Even on my type 1 hair I’m afraid to dye it because even on hair that doesn’t need much moisture hair dye is so drying. So this could be an amazing alternative!

Depranxious: I think the flaking is from using too much. I know that sounds ridiculous but even the slightest amount too much will make it cake up. You can’t really take a big glob and spread it around, you have to go section by section as much as possible. At least that’s what I’ve gathered from watching other YouTubers and trying it out in my mom’s hair. <3

But she should've used CrownPaintColors which is a black owned black made temporary hair pigment (not a wax) that wont dry out your hair but it does washout with one wash and they make a sealant spray for if you want it longer than one day
