Hey guys, it's jess welcome back to my channel. So if you are not new here, you already know i have been struggling with the color of my hair. I started growing around like age 27. I was like what is going on here, so these grays always expose me, especially since i always do a middle part, and i've had this weird brown, hair color, just just a patch of hair in my head up here. Out of nowhere just weird brown spots giving dalmatian energy, so we are going to fix that today. So i'm going to give you guys one last look at this hair, because in about five minutes it's all going to be changed. Thanks to clairol professional, beautiful collection, advanced gray solution, they're, semi-permanent color and i'm going to use these gloves to protect my skin before i begin to apply this to my hair. So i'm just going to section off my hair. Just briefly, really quick, no big deal before i apply this, so i'm going to use the applicator bottle um to get it right to my roots. You can either apply this straight to your hair, like i'm doing so on my problem areas, but you want to make sure that you're applying it evenly so each strand of your hair can get um a little bit of this goody, goody, goodness to make sure that All of your hair is standing in one accord. You see that big old brown patch it's got. Ta go. You don't live here anymore, so i'm going to section off my hair, put it in smaller sections to make sure i'm coating my hair evenly, and you can also just apply the um, the dye straight to your hands and then massage it through your hair to make Sure you're coating each hair strand as well, so for those of you with natural, textures or curls clear out professionals, advanced gray solution provides superior gray coverage coloring the hair, that's up to 50 gray. Not only does it completely color my hair, it leaves my curls soft and shiny, which you guys are going to see towards the end better, yet it's actually safe for my curls, thanks to its no ammonia and no peroxide formula. So here you can already see such a huge change in my hair. You see this color. It is all one color which i've been missing, i'm actually using the color 2n. It'S espresso bean. I don't remember if i said that earlier so i just wanted to kind of match my current color, it's actually probably a little bit darker, which i kind of like it's a little bit more of a sleek color for my hair and it's also a really natural. Looking result, so here's a quick comparison shot. You see how nice and sleek one side is and here's the other side that hasn't been touched. Yet still some grays poking out still that brown patch in my hair and you can just see the transformation already taking place. So i'm gon na go ahead and make sure the other side of my hair also matches the same energy on the other side by applying the product from root to tip and making sure i coat every strand to make sure it's all in one nice shade. Now i know some of you guys are like just: why are you putting color in your hair? We went through this already and it didn't end so well, but i want you guys to look at these curls. Okay, i can assure you that with clairol professional collection, my hair is safe. My strands are safe, my curls are popping and everything is going to be good to go. So, as you can see, my hair right now is fully covered from root to tip. So i'm going to let it process for about 45 minutes, i'm just going to gather my hair, put it in a ponytail and put a plastic cap over it just to minimize any mess that could happen while i'm going throughout my day and i'm gon na check In on my hair, frequently to make sure that everything's all good, so i'm gon na let it sit for 45 minutes, and after that this is after i rinsed out my hair. You can see how my hair and my roots are completely colored, no grays to be found that brown patch is gone and my curls are still intact, if not better than what they were before so here's my hair. The next day i just did a wash and go, and i'm absolutely obsessed with how my hair looks now, even though it was a subtle change, it made a huge difference. Also this semi-permanent dye. It lasts up to 12 shampoos and it has no ammonia or peroxide. So it leaves my curls shiny and healthy, so it's texture by you color by clairol professional. I hope you guys love this video check out the links in my description box and i will see you guys in my next one. Only one just

keyia: I saw you in this ad while watching YouTube and was hoping there was a tutorial I’m proud of you girl!!!

Annie Liane: The fluffy wash and go was everything! The dye also did a great job with the coverage. I've been using their Natural Instincts dye but I'm going to give this one a try.

MsJayLSmith: Your hair looks great! And as far as people potentially bringing up the last color, going darker (coating) is definitely a different process from lightening (stripping).

smh: My nephew has the semi-color in his hair as well. It was cool to see it especially in the sun. I love the dark hair color look as well; the color brings out your skin tone and features it’s a nice color.

M' eshel: The excitement is real for this tutorial. Come through fluffy defined curls on point wash and Go. We love this for you Jess. Great content. Consistency you are killing us this week with the uploads. We thank you.

Twin Mom: Beautiful results. I love rich, subtle color that makes your hair look shiny, healthy and moisturized. And you don't have to worry about breakage or damage.

MsRouge2000: Girl I love it! I’m about to do the same thing and I will be using that product. Thank you!!

J Dee: Clairol made a BIG difference in your hair. I love the darker look. Goes very well with your skin color.

Shakiya Drayton: Good stuff. I got my first gray hair when I was 10. I thought I would suck it up and deal with it. 10 days ago, I had my roots darkened and got my hair colored for the first time. I’m 36. Also, my hair tends to turn brown before it grays, so that could be what’s happening.

Serena slowe: Loved the results. Made a huge difference indeed. ❣️

S Maxwell: Luv your hair Jess .. .. looking at my grays now like dang Jess gone make me be brave and go to the store to get this to do my own hair .. thank you for this video

Lovelyrose221: It evened out so well! And your curls are beautiful Jess I for sure wanna dye my hair but go lighter lovely lil vid

TYPICAL⭐TINK: BLACK HAIR ALWAYS LOOKS POLISHED AND HEALTHY

Liv: Love how it came out. I was wondering what semi-permanent dye they had out there that doesn’t damage curls. How many bottles did you use?

Tracy Moore: Your hair is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for doing this video. I have salt-and-pepper hair myself but have been afraid to try color for fear of damage (like when you had your red hair plus I have fine strands so I can imagine if it damaged your thick hair what it would do to my thin hair). I may just give this product a try after I see how our hair fairs with it. (Haha! sorry you're my guinea pig no insult intended). Also I wanted to suggest an idea I think your brown streaks possibly came from the concentrator nozzle on your hair dryer when you stretch your hair. The marks look like that it may be heat related or your wet hair plus products on your hair getting scorched by the dryer heat. I don't know just a thought think about it. Anyhow I enjoy your videos you're very entertaining your hair is always beautiful. I'm 4C and I know you're not but I still like to watch you and I learn a lot from how you style your hair thanks again for all you do educate us.

Red Bone: So glad I watched this video. I thought it took more than that to put a semi permanent color on your hair and this is actually very easy. I have grey strands all over my head. I will be doing this very soon

Beverly Singleton: Hey Jess, I've enjoyed bumping into your channel cause' your product tips have been quite helpful for me. I've been using the Clairol's Beautiful Collection for a long minute and love how quick and easy it is. However being old enough to perhaps be your grandmother, I decided to change from the brown bottles to the grey one you used today in attempt to tame these gray hairs. So I read up on that gray intense one for ridding it and the reviews were not good, so I've continued on with the brown bottle & just play around with varying colors to see which works best to confront☺️ the gray. This is just a heads up for you to beware or be aware of as you move forward Love your theme song too.✨

A.M.B.: Your hair looks wonderful. I use Madison Reed and I really love it, I've been using it for years. If I ever decide to switch I'll check this out for sure.

Dri Cee: Your hair looks gorgeous. Thank you for this video, I may need this one day in the future. ☺️

SK Gardner: You’re going to be just fine with a semi permanent! Looks great!

It's Ming: My hair started lightening last year and I didn't notice it until I straightened it out and added my usual 1b clip ins. It was not giving "clip ins where" like it usually does. I kind of started getting depressed because I love my naturally dark hair but I'm also dealing with health issues and thought maybe it could be related. I have one silver hair in the front as well. I used adore in off black, it's vegan and did a decent job. Yours looks great

T Sande: I love this brand color!! I mix the 4R & 4RV (reds) for my hair and have been doing it for about a year. Always turns out how I like and easy to do myself.

Monique Killigan: The scandal bag I love you! Another lovely video Jess

Teshanna Bynoe: Your hair looks amazing Jess! Loving the colour. I think I'll need to try this product!

TYPICAL⭐TINK: HELLO GOR-JESS ⭐ YOUR HAIR IS ALWAYS GIVING THE GOODNESS

Moya Bromfield: Lovely results. Hair looking beautiful as usual

Monica Branch: That’s the BEST ONE. been using it for well over 12 years. Maybe even longer I know I have been dying my hair for over 26 years. And this bottle and the brown bronze one have been my people. Lol. But I switched to the grey one idk when. It’s been a long time. So it’s cool that it’s blowing up now. Seen it on YouTube quite a bit nowadays. If anyone needs a black rinse dye this is it. Even if you don’t have greys, it just deposits better to me.

taasshhlove: We see you Jess with the consistent uploads

Mr Cotton: can i just say i use to follow you religiously years ago back when you had ur red and i kinda stopped only cuz i got locs and the last video i saw of yours was ur big chop. this was the first vid i saw of urs for a moment now and ur hair looks SOOOO amazing! it grew so much and looks so healthy and im gonna forever be obsessed❤️

cherry hollomon: Beautiful what did you use for your wash n go?your curly curl cream and eco gel combo?it's gorgeous

Jeanete Tuyishimire: Definitely buying this for my mom. She be complaining about her Gray hair. Really love what I’m Seeing.

R B: Hi Jess stumbled across your channel a couple of days ago. You have great content. I have used this product for quite sometime after it first was introduced years ago. It is great stuff and so easy to use for a non-professional like me. Tip a demi color is great for gray coverage too and very mild. I use a demi for even longer lasting results and I am natural for years with 4b/4c texture and my curls be popping! My hair turned a brownish color when I was lived overseas in Manila. I think the sun was responsible.

Scottie S: Beautiful! I didnt realize that semi-color can be applied to wet or dry hair!!!!

Charlotte Mccombs: This came out good on you. I tried it a few times and it always left a green tint on my hair.

cwnj40: Thanks for this! I've been wanting to color my hair for some time. Feel more comfortable after watching your video.

Kemi .A.: It came out beautiful Jess. I need a hair dye without PPD, ammonia and peroxide. You did a good job sis

It's_ MsAlma: I absolutely love your hair !! And this color w/the fluffy wash n go is everything!!

Tanohah Leon: I am living for the color and fluffy wash and go!!

CL: Hey Jess, was your hair wet or dry b4 you applied this color to your hair? And did you wash it before or after applying it? Your hair looks beautiful as always!

Sierra's Place: I literally needed this! Also ur hair has grown so much!!!

Sherly B: Thank you so much for this tutorial Jess!!

Tabitha Howard: Not Jess being consistent AF with all these uploads lately while moving and wedding prepping!!✊✊

Jasmine Jazzie J: Gorgeous! Did you pre wash before or was only after you apply?

kapparhotau181: Shea Moisture also has a no ammonia hair dye. I tried it once and I liked how it came out and didn't dry or strip my strands

Laney Jackson: It turned out beautiful!

Mariah Perry: Love this! It looks so nice!

Monica Branch: Also this product makes your hair soooooo much more polish. And works great for this that have lotus hair like me.

Vicky Richardson: Definitely love it. I need to try this all my greys are on my hairline

Lynelle L.: Try Natural Instincts. It leaves my hair feeling softer than the Beautiful Collection or Beautiful Browns or any other semi or demi colors. Plus, it is a Demi Permanent. Mine lasted 3 months when I washed my hair 1 time a week. Sulfate Free Sampoo & cool rinsing. Grey coverage is even better.

Ivy Merritt: Wow! The results were FANTASTIC!

Sabrina Cambridge: That is the best color choice. Sometimes I mix it with a little deep conditioner.
