Hey guys and welcome back to my channel today i'll be showing you guys how i achieved this soft blue color and also how i installed this wig to blend perfectly with her skin tone. Now today's hair is provided by lumiere hair. This is a 613 straight wig um, it is um a hundred and i believe 50 density, and it is a 24 inch. So before i begin to show you guys how i colored this wig, i just want to quickly show you what it looks like. It is. A full lace, frontal wig, so you have full parting space from ear to ear and um. It doesn't really compre plug so you're. Definitely gon na have to do some plucking. But, however, i'm gon na show you how i created this color. Now i'm only gon na be using one bottle of color and i'm not even going to use half of that bottle. I'M not going to use a quarter, but i am using the sapphire blue color and i'm just going to do a water die method. It'S very quick, very simple and very easy, but before i actually apply the color to that wig, i am literally going to be using a drop of water. Now i am using some hot water um in the sink and i just filled it up with a little stopper or whatever, and now i just pour just a little bit of that color like the first block that came out after i'm, squeezing it out. It'S just all i'm going to use for right now and i'm going to put more water than color and that's how you get those nice soft and you know, pastel colors as well, is by you using more water and less color, and i just took a piece Of paper - and i just dipped it in there - so i could kind of see um how light the color is, and now i'm just placing my wig right in that water and, as you can see how light this blue is coming out. But of course you might have to repeat this stuff just a few times, because you do want to make sure that that color gets in all of those strands. You don't want to have some blue and then some blonde pieces. So i'm going to continue to dip this wig and, as you can see, that wig absorbed all of that color already. So i'm just going to take another small amount very little, i'm just going to add way less than i even did the first time and just add little drops at a time until i get all of those um. You know hairs blue. So this is all that i did. I didn't have to use a full bottle of dye. I didn't use, you know multiple bottles. I just use this one bottle and just pour a little bit at a time to achieve the color. So just um watch as i continue um to add that color and as you can see, this drop was way smaller than the previous bottle and i'm just going to add one more and just mix that all in and just keep re-dipping that wig until i you Know until i achieve the desired color and results that i'm going for so now that i have the color that i want, i'm just going to go ahead and take some tresemme, shampoo and conditioner, and i'm just going to shampoo this wig thoroughly. And then you know rinse that out and of course, add conditioner to make sure the wig you know remains soft and everything after the coloring process and then i will go ahead and blow dry, the wig and we will get right into the installation process so out. So so this is what the wig looks like after being blow-dried, it's like different strands of blue, of course some took you know more than the other, but overall i did love the color of it. So i didn't feel the need to keep you know redoing it, but today i'm going to show you guys how to melt a colored lace wig onto your client. Now, for starters, you want to make sure you are using the proper foundation color um. Sometimes, with you know, transparent lace, you might have to use a darker foundation, um or you know, add more foundation than you normally would for the installation. But for today i just did you know the foundation on the inside of the wig and when it um came to me tying down the lace uh that second time i just added more color on the top of that hairline. But you guys will see that later. On in this video, but right now, i'm just taking that foundation, i'm just applying it everywhere on the inside of the lace and do not get the color on the hairs um, you don't want the install to look. You know kind of dirty before you have. You know you actually install it, so just be careful how you apply the foundation, don't let it touch the hairs right now, just bring it up close to the hairline as possible, and once you get that color in there saturated really well, you can go ahead and Begin to add your layers and, of course, our adhesive and our only adhesive choice will be the lace made adhesive max. This is our known, approved formula. I know you guys are loving it. I'M loving it um, i'm getting so many great reviews and i just need you guys to keep giving me more um, because you know i would love to post it share your work tag. Whatever do what you have to do, but i would love to repost, you guys work using a product so make sure you do tag me but uh. However, for today we will be using four layers of this adhesive, so once i get all of my layers applied, i will go ahead and begin to melt down the lace, so so the melting process is pretty much the same. Um the same way i would do with natural color hair is the same way i'm gon na do with colored hair. So you just want to continue to blow dry the lace you know melt it in hot comb. It um if needed, be and then tie it down with the nail belt and uh once i tie it down with that melt belt, i'm going to let that band sit on there for 10 minutes and then i'm going to come back cut off that extra lace And begin the styling process well technically the second melting step process and then the styling process, but stay tuned and take this time out to subscribe. If you haven't done so already so after letting that band sit - and you know cutting off the extra lace around the ears, i'm going to start razoring off um that extra lace from the front of the hairline and you do want to use a fresh razor and In this case, i'm using a fresh lace glider and i'm just razoring off that lace, um. What i you know advise you guys to do whatever is melted, um, whatever is not melted. You can just go ahead and part those sections off and then just razor it off. But if you do need the parts that is not melted to you know match the hairline, then you can keep it on there, but as you can see, as i raise it off that lace, i pulled on it guys. So you know you guys can see how strong the adhesive is and her lace did not lift or move whatsoever. So now i'm just going to go ahead and cut off the other side um, and then we will get into how to make that white um. You know how you get that white shadow with the transparent lace, i'm going to show you guys how to get rid of that in my second step melting process so make sure you guys are staying tuned now. The section i just completed here was pretty much self-explanatory. I do use my uh glam wax stick and i also use the hot comb and uh. You know just flattened out that top area, but now i am taking the same foundation and i'm just tapping it across the hairline, and you can see here how it made that white uh cast around the hairline disappear. You just have to make sure you are using technique and the person's um. You know foundation color, that matches them perfectly or you know closest to their skin color. And now i'm going to take that holding spray and just spray it right into the hairline and then tie it down again. Of course, with that melt band and while that melt band is really sitting on there and getting that lace, um extra extra melted to the tee, i'm just going to go ahead and begin to walk the rest of the hair. So i'm going to one curl, the hair, just using my gem, one curler um, using somewhat of a bigger, you know somewhat of a bigger size, iron for the wine curls and i'm just going to curl everything all around. So now that everything is curled. I'M going to go ahead and remove that melt belt. That way, you guys can see the full meltdown and i'm going to go ahead. Oh very much, melted, blended yeah! This color is so pretty, though i really really love it. Um it came out bomb. I love the different shades of blue in it. It'S just really really cute, but um. Now that i have everything curled up, i'm just going to go ahead and just finger comb, the curls out - and you know just play with it until you get a desired look. But there is one more thing i have to do before this install is complete and that is to conceal the part uh when you conceal the part with the same foundation you use, for you know, melting the lace. It just makes the lace um. It makes the parting area stand out. More also makes it look better, so um, i don't really like that faded part. Look so to the final part, i'm going to use that same foundation. Color and just uh drag it right in that parting area, and then that will be the last and final step. So i hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. Thank you guys for watching and stay tuned for more videos. You
