Hey guys, it's true, so I've been rocking the same aqua, blue hair from minute now, starting with my last vid con vlog and then continuing in just about every video, an Instagram post. Since then, you can tell it's one of my favorite colors that I've done and you guys have seemed to love it just as much as I do so today, I'm going to show you guys how I achieved my mermaid realness for this color. I used arctic fox hair dye in Poseidon and aquamarine. Once I've gathered up all of my tools, I start with the aquamarine. I used a very generous amount of this color and I added a small portion of Poseidon just so that it wasn't too aqua. I wanted it to be a nice in-between and then I just added my usual white conditioner to dilute the dye just a little bit. I didn't want the shade to be too dark. I wanted it to be super vibrant. The hair that I am dying in this video is from YS wigs. This is their six one, three blonde full lace: wig, it is 22 inches, long, 130 percent density and, what's awesome, is it comes pre plucked with baby hairs? I took my dime -- ax and applied that straight to the hair, just taking small sections one at a time to make sure that all the hair was covered evenly. I'Ve mentioned this before and other hair dyeing videos, but when dyeing a full lace wig, you want to get as close as possible to that roots that you don't have gaps. But you also want to leave yourself a little bit of space so that you don't stain that lace. If you do stain the lace, you can flip it inside out and bleach that spot away, but just give yourself like a millimeter of wiggle room once the wig was fully coated. I let it sit for about an hour before renting it out, and this is how the color turned out and now that the color is done. It'S time. To put this bad boy on this week, has three combs and an adjustable strap so that it stays super secure on my head always got to make sure that I am snatch proof first things. First, I am brushing out the hair to get rid of any tangles, and then I am using a heat protectant spray to avoid any damage from the styling using my nume flatiron. I am just straightening out the hair because it is very fluffy from having been washed. The hair wasn't crunchy, though it was actually very soft and full so shout out to YS wigs, because the quality of this wig, even after I dyed it, was amazing not to mention just how well it took the color in general, so I would definitely recommend this Wig and if you guys are interested, I have links down in the description once the hair is nice and smooth. The next thing to do is make the wave look natural. Now, like I said, this wig does come pre plucked, but it is always good to give a little bit of your own customization. I started out by plucking some hair from where I decided to part the wig. Once I have a nice clear part, I flipped the wig inside out and added some powder foundation to the underside of the part. This helps to blend the part out into my skin tone. I also put some foundation on the other side as well, so that I have a nice clean part that looks like real skin. Next, I am taking my got to be glued and spraying that all along my edges then pulling my wig back into place. This ensures that the lay stays flat and secure and using a blow-dryer will help it dry faster once that hair is laid down it's time to trim it up for the bangs. I start by taking a section of hair and pulling it to the opposite side of my face before chopping straight across. This gives me a basic shape for the side bangs and then it's just a matter of layering them so that they blend nicely, and I of course, layer the other side as well, just making sure that everything frames my face and now that this hairs got a Little bit of dimension, I could stop there, but the way I see it if I've got mermaid hair, I've got to have mermaid waves, so using my nume wand in the medium size. I am finishing this off by adding some soft curls and that's all there was to it. Hopefully, this little quickie tutorial is helpful for those of you guys who are looking to do the same color ask for the wake. I am super impressed by the quality. It is really amazing, super soft and no problems with shedding. I would definitely recommend this one so, like I said, all of the links and information are down in the description.
