$40 Amazon Silver Wig | I Water Dye My Synthetic Wig!

Hi, I'm Jay, and today I decided to try my hand at dyeing one of my wigs recently I bought a wig off of Amazon for like $ 40 or something I'll link it down below. I bought it because of all the reviews. All the photos looked great anyways. I got it and two problems, one way too big for my head, so big, like the lace covers, maybe this part of my ear, so I haven't even figured out how we're gon na fix that issue. But the second issue is the color just doesn't suit me. I don't like how it looks on me. I really thought it'd be cute. It'S not so today we're gon na dye, my wig, I'm thinking I'm gon na dye, it gray silver, just something not as bright. You know and yellow yeah I've been mentioning a lot of videos on girls dyeing their own wigs via, like the water dip dyeing. That'S what we're gon na do today, because it seemed the easiest and it seems like I won't mess it up. You know it's gon na be really hard to mess up this method, and what I have now is this bucket will use boiling water, I'm too lazy for that, so we're just gon na fill it in the sink with the hottest you know water setting and then For my colors today we are using kiss colors in platinum right here. The kiss Express hair colors in k9d, Platinum, gray, the adore 155 titanium right here. I'Ll, probably just show you how I do everything writing what I do on the screen and then I'll specify like how much of what that I used and we're probably gon na go by little squeezes cuz we're not getting too technical here here. She is in all her glory. She was actually extra long when I got her. I cut off probably like a good 5 inches off of this wig. Just so you'd look more real. It didn't so, hopefully with the color. Emily it'll look somewhat more real, but who knows hi, I'm back and I've got my water year and it's pretty warm. I can feel it and in the meanwhile I grabbed a towel and then I also swatched out all three of the colors. So these are my swatches. I think I'm leaning towards throwing these two in the mix not so much this one, so we're gon na do that. I'M gon na test a strand and then I'll. Let you know if I go for that or if I change my mind, I'm pretty nervous, because I really don't want to mess up this way, but it's time, let's just do it. So this whole water dying thing um like it's, it's working, you know, but it seems like I don't know it's just not as gray as I wanted it to me. I still have this right here. I feel like I'm gon na. Add it to it and if that doesn't work out - and I have this blue blue shampoo left over, so I might do that. If this fails me so we'll see, I'm pretty much gon na dump this whole thing in there I'll mix it around just jumped the rest of this into that concoction that we have - and I feel like it's more of a color that I want here I'll try. My best to show you this probably isn't the best lighting, but I feel like that's more silver, but it was we're just gon na keep dunking it just gon na mix it just gon na. Let it sit, I mean it's definitely not the same blonde. So I'm happy with that yeah yeah it's going! Well, it's going well I'll check in again after you know, I'm done alright guys. I feel like this is as much color as we're gon na get and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't know if you can see, but it was just a bright yellow and I feel like this is so much prettier. I'M gon na dry her and then we're gon na try it on, and hopefully it doesn't look terrible on me. We did it um. This is the color now after I took forever to blow-dry it uh and then forever to get this part. To like be how I normally part my hair uh, I'm very happy with how the color turned out. What I had in mind was, you know, like a true true gray, but this is who's perfect. So this is what my actual hair goals is. That'S pretty much this video like good job me. So if you ever want to combine those three shades together, you absolutely should it looks like this and then um, that's it from me. I definitely did not do the best job of applying this wig. All I did was cut the lace. I didn't even pluck the hairline, because I am not very good at that, but because this wig is exactly the color I want, I think, I'm gon na work on this. Until you know, it's seen once that's wishing for a lot, but I'm gon na you know get my practice done with this wig, because this is just a dream. This is I wan na. Thank you for watching this video. I have a couple videos playing some silly ones, a lot of it's like transforming into a visco girl or like Instagram Betty transformation stuff like that cuz. I love watching that stuff.
