#39 Lets Make A Peekaboo Full Lace Wig! How To Properly Color A Wig Without Staining Your Lace

Hello, you guys and welcome back to my channel today, I'm gon na be showing you guys a video, but do not forget to hit that subscribe button and turn on a notification deal. Alright, you guys are gon na need. A wig you're gon na need some clips. You'Re also gon na need some coloring mixing bowls. I bought these from Sally's Beauty. Supply was like seven balls for ten dollars, which is a great deal and they also interlock plastic, wrap and white conditioner. Please do not go get any other color conditioner, because if you do is gon na throw off the colors when you get to mix it. If you want to get like a blue conditioner and you mix like a yellow dye in it, it's gon na turn green. So just need white, alright, the fun part. This is the dye that I use for the yellow, which is the electric yellow, and this is what I use for the green and the well of color charm is blue and I didn't use two of those I'm just showing you guys how I mix it in And I did this to all of them, but I didn't show them all on camera, because I didn't want to extend this video too long. I just mix it till I get to the color that I want and I'm actually gon na test it out on a napkin before I put it on the hair to see what color is gon na show up. It was a bit too light for me, so I did go back in with a little bit more blue dye, and I mix that in and got like a shade darker, which is the color that I wanted all right. I did the same thing as I said before, to all the other colors I didn't show the red bottles, but this year's wild cherry mixed with truly red battledore and when you're putting on the dial you want to be is gentle with the roots as possible. It might look like I'm going fast, but I promise I'm not, and you want to color from all angles, and you want to make sure that you get in the middle of the sections. If you have like a big piece like I have here, but when you're coloring hair, you want to take your time, so you don't stain. The laces is a full length unit. It'S a 20 inch for lace and I'm gon na be coloring. This red, yellow and green, it's kind of stoplight traffic light inspired. I work in traffic, so it was kind of like the inspiration, peekaboo kind of thing make sure that you're working on the front and the back when you're coloring. Because you don't want it just on one side. And you want to make sure that you rub through to get it through to get the color throughout the hair and I'm sorry, you guys can't see the green, but I'm doing the exact same thing that I did with the red and the yellow. Oh, I forgot to mention I didn't take part of my a wig into three different sections. The top part is about, I believe, a like a seven, if I think, like six or seven inches in one day, and it's about probably five inches wide. This for the peekaboo of faith and the rest is color, red, yellow and green again make sure they turn on the front end to the back here gently rubbing this dye, because these red stains it's definitely gon na stain. If you use on the lace one take your time and make sure that when you're coloring the hair, you want to measure where the radius and where the yellow is because you don't want to come all the way down. And then you have one side. That'S red! All the way down and you got like a little yellow and a little green, so just keep an eye on it. Alright pay attention to impersonal, backward most thing when you're dealing with the ages and, as I said in my last video, do not mind my hair. I have a multi collection of wigs and believe me, like there's not even an issue sis and after you finish with that portion. You'Re gon na take some saran wrap and you're gon na section it off so that when you keep to the top part so that it doesn't die like the bottom part of it hope, you guys understand what I'm saying so like when I do the blue. It'S gon na be hanging, so I don't want it to lay on top of the read that yellow or that green, and I want it to change the colors. So I did saran wrap you and if you see me with like there's something on my gloves, this just means that I have too much down my brush. I do DEP kind of DAP it on my glove, so make sure that I don't put too much on the roof and then you guys can't see if it will right now. But I promise like a little a few minutes. You'Ll be able to look exactly into the lace to see exactly how I'm doing things I have so much fun when I'm coloring, like my wigs and stuff like this to me, it's like coloring, a coloring book. It'S very fun for me, see how their lace looks. You want yours to look exactly like that. You don't want to have it stained, you don't want to have it messed up. So that's why I'm saying take your time when you're making these especially the beginner. It'S watching this video. I did the race off-camera, but you guys keep her. You get the hang of what I'm doing here. This is what it looks like after I've rinsed the rinse watched and conditioned when you rinse the wig out. You want to make sure that you rinse it with cold water. You don't want to rinse it with warm. Nor do you want to use hot water because it's gon na make the other eyes bleed. So just make sure you use cold water, and this is me playing around with the week - do not mind my cap and don't mind me for this model in it I'm considering selling it, but I'm not 100 %.
