Hey guys, it's a slen and in today's video I'm going to be trying out a VP fashion. Wig, as you guys know, I have tried out their extensions in the past and they were not my favorite, so I decided to give it another try and try a wig from their website. I have heard so many good things about their wigs and I've seen so many different people try them and loved them, so I decided that I wanted to give them a try. This is the wig that we're going to be making over today and trying out. So, let's go ahead and get into how I transform this wig and what my thoughts are on it. So here is the box that the wig comes in. It also comes with a mannequin stand in case. You don't have one a lot of people don't have one laying around like I do, and here is the wig. It comes in plastic and inside the plastic. The wig is wrapped in and netting to keep everything smooth down. They also included three deep conditioning treatments. These are really nice to keep your wig in good shape and inside it tells you the differences between the hair on your scalp and on a wig. It also talks about the powerful repair and hydrating functions as a deep conditioner. They also include two wig caps for you, which is super handy. There is also this piece of paper in there telling you what WIC you selected mine is a hundred and twenty percent density. It is a 613 a wig and it is 16 inches long and it is fold lace. I will leave a link to this wig in the description down below in case you're interested in purchasing one. I also have a coupon code. It'S for $ 10 off. I will leave that in the description box down below also the lace on this wig is transparent, so that way it blends seamlessly into your skin. This wig is all lace on the inside. It also has three Clips so that way you can secure it to your hair. It also has this adjustable strap at the bottom, which is super super handy. You can make it tighter or looser, depending on how large or small your head is, because we are going to be dyeing the wig. I want to make sure there are no chemicals on it, so we're gon na go ahead and shampoo. It I'm using this generic brand purple shampoo from Sally Beauty. It'S my favorite, I'm just dipping the wig in the bowl with a purple, shampoo and water. It'S going to help tone to get a little bit of that yellow out. So we have a really nice platinum base to start with, it's also going to strip off any chemicals that they might have put on the wig when they were sealing it and making it really nice and shiny and smooth. So I'm just dipping this in and out of that mixture and then making sure it's lathered and really clean. Then I just rinsed all of that off. I did not use conditioner because I'm gon na be dyeing it and you need to clean hair when you're dyeing it with semi-permanent dyes. This is a wig stand that I already had, and I just had these little pins and I stick it into the wig. So that way the weight doesn't move, while I'm dyeing it, I'm just using a couple pins in the front and a couple pins underneath in the nape of the neck, to secure the wig to the stand, and then I'm gon na brush out the wig really well And blow-dry it to get it ready for the rainbow dye here is the wig, clean and dry. I was so impressed with this wig. It is the best wig I've ever owned and if I ever need any in the future, I'm gon na order this one. It'S thick from root to tip you can part it anywhere, since it's full lace and it looks like your natural scalp. I am obsessed with this wig so to section the hair we're going to be using these clips they're the clips I always use when I'm doing my rainbow hair and I'm going to be using a rat tail comb for sectioning. So I'm just starting by dividing the hair into two sections for this wig. I am using diagonal forward sectioning throughout the whole head. So I'm starting with a severe diagonal forward and then, as I section towards the front of the hairline, it's going to become more and more vertical. So when we get to the front of the hairline you're gon na see, the sectioning is more up and down and not so much at an angle, and I am just using these small metal clips and once I have a section pulled out, I like to twist It so that way it doesn't get tangled up and then just put that metal clip right by the root area to hold the sections in place. So that way, all the hair doesn't get tangled together when you're doing multiple colors sectioning is super super important. If you section before, you start coloring, it's going to make the job way way easier, especially when you're doing rainbow hair. The job is already hard enough and it's so difficult to do rainbow, hair on yourself, so making sure the sectioning is clean, definitely helps make it a little bit easier, I'm just gon na repeat the sectioning. On the other side, these are the colors I'm using. All of them are arctic fox, except for the green that is Manic, Panic, electric lizard, I know a lot of you guys are probably curious about what arctic fox shades I was using. Maybe you haven't seen any of my previous videos where I mentioned the shade names, so I'm going to go ahead and just tell you them real quick for the pink. I use electric paradise mixed with a virgin pink for the orange. I use sunset orange mixed with porridge for the yellow. I use cosmic sunshine mixed with neon moon for the green. It'S Manic Panic, electric lizard for the blue, it's diluted, aquamarine and for the purple. It'S purple rain and violet dream mixed together and that's diluted with conditioner. I will leave their information in the description box down below so when I'm dyeing the hair this time, I'm starting off doing the same rainbow pattern that I've done before, but halfway down, I'm stopping with the first color I do and then I'm continuing the second color. So if you see around the hairline, I'm starting with the pink the next color is orange, yellow so on and so forth. But on that first section where it's pink you'll see the tips are going to be orange. On the orange section behind the pink I'm going to do the tips of that yellow, then the yellow section behind that will have green tips. So I'm doing the same vertical rainbow I've done before, but I'm offering the tips of each color into the shade. That'S next to them, like always make sure you're saturating the hair really really well, I'm gon na go ahead and stop talking and let you guys enjoy the satisfying dyeing of this wig broken the law. I feel the rain crashing down this empty town, I'm searching through the lost and found, but you don't care you're on the web, keep moving like the scars, aren't even there it's in the air like a blazing flare. That'S why I gave you everything. How did you cross by the stormy seas of you meant the world here? Is the hair color completely applied and done it looks so so good? I was so happy with it. So I'm gon na let this sit an hour and rinse it in cold water. So that way the colors don't bleed on each other. Now, I'm just using my X mondo leave-in conditioner working this through the ends of the hair and then working upwards. Now I'm going in with my X, mondo fiber oil. I love this oil, it's my favorite again working it in the ends and then working it upwards. Here'S the way completely dry. Look how good this looks. It'S shiny! It'S thick! It'S amazing! Oh my gosh! It'S my favorite hair color. I have ever done on a wig or on myself. So now I'm just creating some loose beachy waves and I am using my X mondo spray to protect the hair and to give it some texture. So I'm just doing some loose waves. All over the wig, you guys know, I will tell you if a product is bad I'll, tell you if a product is good in this case, these wigs are amazing. If you're, looking for a high-quality wig that you're gon na be wearing on the regular, definitely save up and invest in a good quality, wig, that's gon na last you a long time and that also looks realistic. You did not know once I'm done with the curls, I just let them cool down, and then I rake through them with my fingers to create a loosened, the hairline I'm just using some really small scissors. I have and I'm being very careful not to cut the hair and just cutting off all of that excess and getting as close to the hairline as possible to apply the wig. I just put on my wig cap smooth down my hair underneath and then I adjust those straps to make sure it's tight enough and is snug on my head. Then I just slide on the wig, so you can do this many different ways. Sometimes I like to glue down the wig cap to my skin, cut off the excess and then glue the wig down other times. If I'm not going to be out and about and wear it for a long time, I'll just put on the wig cap and then throw the wig on top and glue down the wig on top of the wig cap, and in this case that's what I decided To do since I didn't have a lot of plans for the day. I just did it the easier way so for glue. I am using my makeup and murder super glue, fuming eyelash and glitter adhesive. You can use so many different things. You can use the got to be glued hairspray, you can use, got to be glued Joe both of those work amazing. This applicator was perfect for me, and this adhesive worked so so well and held my wig down. So I just apply on my hairline hold the wig down until the glue is dry and then you're good to go, then I'm taking some foundation on an angled eyebrow brush and I'm just filling in my part line. It'S make it look a little bit more realistic and match my skin tone a little bit better and boy. This makes such a difference. This wig is so good the lace blends in so well and it's the most realistic wig I've ever had you look as I pull this apart. It looks like my scalp, I'm obsessed with it. Here'S what it looks like from the back. It'S thick. I can pull it apart everywhere. It just looks like it's my natural hair. Oh my gosh, you can wear it up. You can wear it down because you don't have to be concerned about where you're sectioning it at since it is full lace. It'S the only way. I'M gon na buy from now on is full lace, wigs because lace fronts just aren't cutting it. For me and more. That is all for today's video. I know that may sound super simple to just rinse colored hair in really cold water however I always seem to blend fashion colors during the rinsing process.
