♡ Pastel Rainbow Hair ♡ Wig Transformation | Vp Fashion

Hi, you guys welcome to my channel I'm Jay, and today we are going to be dying. This wig right here, VP fashion, was kind enough to give me a wig. This is what she looks like right here, I'll throw up some more shots of this wig, because this will be our before, and I believe this is the 120 percent density wig. I was really torn about doing this video because I kind of wanted to just make this wig a nice silvery blond, but I thought I have so much leftover color from previous hair colors. I'Ve done, and I thought why not try and just do something fun with this wig. So that's exactly what we're doing today, I'm just gon na look through all of my colors right now pick out kind of what I want to do and then we'll just get right to it. I had plenty of colors to pick from, so it was a little difficult, but I ended up picking out all of my favorite colors to put on this wig mixing. These colors was just so much fun and when I saw them next to each other side by side, they just it made such a cute little rainbow pastel color palette. I was beyond excited to see how they would all look on the hair. Alright, you guys, I just mixed up all of my colors and I'm just gon na get to applying it on this wig I'll, probably just either voiceover this or just time lapse it with music. So I hope you guys enjoy. I'M excited also very scared, but more excited, as you guys can see. I opted for the voiceover option. I just thought it would be a little more engaging and a little more interesting to walk you guys through my dyeing process. So my vision for this wig was for it to just look like a pastel dream. I wanted everything to blend seamlessly and I wanted the color to feel kind of lived in if that makes sense, so to achieve that and not have it. Looking too stripy I applied purple to all of the roots, I dragged it down about an inch and a half to two inches. Looking back, I'd even dragged the root down a little bit more, only because you'll get an area of purple where you're blending into the next color, so dragging it down a little bit will help you create a more seamless blend. This parts super tedious, but it's well worth it to take your time, make sure to saturate. You don't want splotchiness or you don't want to miss a spot. I just think it's super annoying to have to go back in and read I something when you can just do it right the first time and avoid all that hassle. There'S not much else to say about this part in the process. It'S pretty self-explanatory. I will check back in once. We are all done with the roots. We are just about done with the roots, and now we are on to the fun and creative part. So there's really not a wrong way to do this. What I decided to do was, I just took different sized sections and some strands I decided to do all one color other strands. I decided to do purple blended into blue blended into pink and vice versa. As we move up the head, I think you guys can get a better idea of what I'm kind of going for I'm trying to keep the balance pretty even throughout. I don't want it to be too pink heavy or too blue heavy in any one area. So, just switching it up as I go alternating you get the gist, so I thought I'd include a time-lapse of me completing an entire section, so you can kind of see what I'm doing better. I don't know if it's quite better, because the camera angles not great, but I will check that going after the wig is fully dyed. So I just let the dice it in overnight. Here'S what it looked like the next morning before rinsing it out. So I just rinsed out this wig, i sectioned everything off and now I'm going to blow-dry it style it and we will see what it looks like on. I was so excited it turned out so well when I was blow-drying this hair, I was debating whether or not I should curl it, and you guys I'm so happy that I curled it I'm so excited for you to see the final result. It just looks so cute here's the week before get ready for this. You guys aren't even ready. Tell me it doesn't just look gorgeous. I was so happy with the results. The upcoming clips are me trying to model this wig. Please ignore my awkwardness. Hopefully, I'll get better at these shots, I'm so happy with this. It'S exactly what I wanted um. I think the colors took so well on this wig. I was nervous that the colors would be too light for it, but it worked out perfectly. I feel like a mermaid, I feel like a fairy and I I couldn't be happier if you guys liked the way it turned out.
