So welcome to another olive skin video in today's video i will be talking about and demonstrating with pictures the best hair colors suited for individuals with olive, yellow, medium and tan skin tones. If you are subscribed to me, as you can tell, i did get my hair done um i generally have black hair. I just wanted to switch it up a bit basically because i hadn't dyed my hair for like over a year, but i'm really glad that it didn't turn like brassy or orange, or anything like that. Anyway, again, as i always say, there are no rules to this. You can pick whatever colors you like, but um. These are just the colors that can enhance your skin tone if you do have olive skin. So once i finish, the demonstration i'll also be attaching some photos of myself with different hair colors. So you can also see and judge for yourself what suits and what doesn't, as i mentioned before, olive skin is basically a color on the human skin spectrum that has a green, yellow and golden undertone. So with the hair colors, there is no one size fits all approach to this, just because you also have to consider your undertone, even though you have olive skin, you can be a warm olive, a light or a warm olive, a cool, olive or a neutral olive And then, on top of that, you can also be a light or fat, fair, olive, a dark, olive and a medium olive, so you can fit into any of those categories, so i can do another more in-depth video touching on all those undertones in a future video. But for now we'll focus on the best hair colors for a true olive or olive skin tones in general. If you are unsure about whether you do have olive skin, i also have other videos on this channel dedicated to checking if you have olive skin and then the best makeup colors and the best clothing colors suited for individuals, olive skin, that you can check out after Watching this video as well so, let's start with the lighter colors, so the first color would be a beige toned platinum blonde which can suit olive skin, as you can see here with rita aura. So when you are picking a blonde shade make sure you are picking a shade, that's neither too warm nor too ashy or not too cool. So the blonde colors in between can really suit individuals, olive skin, as i've also mentioned this before in a previous video about clothing colors. So a specific blonde color that i can recommend is a nice honey blonde. That'S because honey blonde is basically a blend of dark and warm blonde with some light brown shades. If you are looking for a more subtle blonde color and not wanting to go completely blonde, the other color. Basically, the other option basically is just getting some highlights with different several different shades and colors so kind of like mine. I have a highlights with a few different shades. I did ask for ash blonde, but i also have some dark pieces and some other shades in there as well and another example is a blend of some darker and lighter shades like mila kunis. Here, if you are after a more subtle change and then if you are feeling more creative adventurous, you could try a subtle, pink like a baby, pink or subtle, purple or lavender, as you can see, on kim kardashian in this picture. Okay, so moving on to the dark colors a nice caramel, so this color can basically really brighten and enhance your skin and complexion and really help your olive skin to glow. So this is because caramel basically has some nice gold bronzy tones in it, which can basically balance out the green tones as found in olive skin. Okay. Another dark tone that works well with olive skin is a nice chocolate brown or a chestnut brown color like mila kunis here or even a nice, burgundy red or a wine red color like this. So these colors can really help your olive skin pop and, finally, of course, my absolute favorite, the really sexy pitch black. So this can be a pitch black, a jet black, a blue black. If you do have olive skin, you can basically never go wrong with a black color. This is also a color that i personally always go back to after i've had enough of dyeing my hair, and basically this is the color that i choose majority of the time. As well, the combination of black hair with olive skin just looks so classy mysterious exotic, and you can't go wrong with black. If you have olive skin, for example, you can see here with nicole shazinger with vanessa hutchins kim kardashian. It just looks so good. So now i'm going to quickly show you some pictures and videos of myself, basically with several different hair colors in order to compare and contrast and point out uh what suits my olive skin and what doesn't it's just kind of annoying, because the sunlight is really coming Through on this side - and it just it's just completely changing the color of my hair and then i'm doing a video on hair color one day, i'll get better lighting. So until then i've got to rely on sunlight yeah. My hair color is a lot less brassy in person. The sunlight is just coming through on this side, so it kind of looks orangish on camera, but that's not the actual color. This side is a more true representation of what my hair color looks like at the moment, just to point it out, so my skin tone, i am personally a bit more of a neutral olive, so i can be a little bit more flexible with the colors, but I, as i'm still olive, i do tend to stay away from extremely ashy, extremely uh warm shades. For example. Here you can see this ultra warm bright, yellow looks really bad, and this is what it looks like i'm ready for round two. But then this ultra cool ash blonde also does not flatter me and kind of make me look and kind of makes me look a bit. Pasty and ashy definitely washes me out, whereas black or dark browns, as seen here, look good and then also ashy blonde. Highlights that are not too cool toned and mixed in and blended it with other shades as well. Um really suits my olive skin tone. So again, this demonstrates how colors that are neither too warm nor too cool definitely suits us individuals with olive skin tone. If i've missed something, please do mention it in the comments section as well, so that i can learn so that i can learn as well and then we can all learn from one another. Also try and be kind and love one another. We are in this together. So no one's gon na win by being hateful. Alright, that's all i have for you in today's video. I hope this video was really helpful to you. I hope you have a great week. Thank you so much for watching, and i will see you in my next video you

Romina Augugliaro: For those who are over a certain age or have sun damaged skin or dark circles black is not so flattering even if we re olive. I believe that age also should be taken into consideration. I feel that mid brown with caramel lights suit me better than dark colours.

Brooke: I used to dye my hair black when I was a teenager to around 21. I started doing it cause I was into the emo/scene style. Anyways after I got out of that phase when I was around 15 I still kept it a neutral black because it looked good on me. I remember people used to ask me if that was my natural hair color even. I always wondered why I could pull off black so well when I was so pale. Makes sense now that I know I have olive skin.

Alde Eryılmaz: Oh thank you!!! Finally some great content about olive skin! I decided to dye my hair with a neutral toned colour instead after watching this. In the past years I opted for really warm and then cool toned hair colours, both washed me out. Golden blonde to subtle ginger then ashy medium blonde. None of them suited me. I feel like black hair would wash me out too I just can't explain why. Although it looks absolutely gorgeous on you! Brown tones were usually safe options but I really like being medium blonde. I'm going to order a neutral shade to try then I'll edit this comment to let you know! Edit: Hi!!! I dyed my hair with a neutral shade (8) as I was planning. However I wanted to be a little experimental about it and added a small amount of 8.1. (I used professional hair colours) I keep getting compliments about how much my new hair colour suits me! I was inspired by this video to change my hair colour and I’m glad I did!

チドリ: Best video on the topic. I remember a few years ago when they used to refer to olive skins as simply “tan skin” e automatically warm, atrocious Good to see colorimetry has improved so much!

Hannah . M: Great video!! As an olive skinned person myself.. I agree with the extremely cool tone ashy hair making us look washed out!! I just dyed it last week and I don’t look so great lol

bird: Thank you, you're definitely right about middle of the road shades, when my hair is too warm or cool,it looks very strange. I'm going back to black in a few weeks tho the best colour definitely

Shae C: im getting my hair done next week i have the same black hair and skin tone as yours and we have the same mac nc30 shade lol thank you for this video really helps!! ❤️

depressed fangirl: I was wondering if purple ...like the darker shade of purple is good for an olive skin *tho i really wanted to try a lighter purple but i already knew it won't suit me*

Evas Energy Mastery: I know It's been written before, but this is sooo helpful!!! :D Also you're gorgeous!~

kat.: you’re honestly one of the most beautiful people i’ve seen.. and that hair color DEFINITELY suits you... p.s what color of dye is your hair? cs it looks absolutely stunning !!

diserio: Ahhh thank you for making the video, so helpful!!

Lynne McMonagle: A word of advice: look into fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.

Yumixo: Do you know what bold/ neon colours would look good on olive skin

Maria Welling: I love your highlight! Excellent choice!!

Ashita Panda: I am a similar skin tone as you, but imho the 2nd ash blonde colour looked the most beautiful on you

sweetiemin: Your eye makeup is gorgeous! ✨

baddiegiel baddiegiel: AS AN INDIAN IM FAIR SO WARM BLONDE SUITS ME

Lisandra: Thank you for these videos!!

GuidetteExpert: I agree with yellow skin tone look better with neutral color. I tried like ashy blonde and my face and skin looked dull and lifeless! The neutral color brang out my skin color and my reddish brown eyes.

Lisa Cardona: Awww you help me a lot!! and thank you!! :,D

Zerlinda Miandda: Can you make a video of what best contour colours for olive skin?

Yanger Aonok: Very interesting ... Awesome content as always... Keep it up

Andy Hlawnchhing: So please try medium bit ashy with green tones..like matt gren you ll look amazing!!!...

이진애: hello how about ppl who have lighter olive skin tones would it be the same as well?

lorena: the black hair looks stunning on ya

SaminSays: omg when the clip of you with the black hair came on!! it looks so natural and effortless on you

Debbie Ventimiglia: I light olive and I color my hair a deep copper and suits me

Andy Hlawnchhing: I should say the ash in your hair is too grey light...i think medium ash would suit you more...with a green tint.. At the same time reduce that brassy tones...

Koustov: What is the difference between beige and olive tone?

pm: I think I want a honey blonde color

Andy Hlawnchhing: Yes you re right..Now im done with too ashy tonez...as you said...now i realise im wash out and pastel old looking..

unachilena: I want to dye my hair brown or black. I have neutral with a lite warmth oliv underton tone. But i want my eye color to pop. I have brown eyes with a touch of green. The green color can be more prone when I have light (like sun light in my eyes. Do you have some evidence which hair color would be best??

plankton: 1:40 video starts

Adalyn Bridwell: Sooooooo- should I do Rose gold?

zhoucheng: Hmm, i think you particularqy look good in black and ashy colors bc ur colder olive.. Im olive aswell but those look terrible on me T-T

Yaniamichelle Novoa: Would copper be a good hair color option? I'm considering honey blonde or caramel but I reallyyy love how copper looks.

lark: I looove your hair

Lorrain Cassesso: Do you think girls with natrually dark hair and of European decent has olive skin so like Italians, Greek etc.

A Dainty dream 💕: You are so beautiful

Who Farted?: Hello Aussie sister ❤️ Or Am I wrong Hm u have something else in that accent

YoungRightNow: We call that t1b30

baddiesinbowties: Great content. Maybe avoid using the word "exotic" considering the problem of fetishizing of people of color
