If you're new here my red subscribe button, so today I'm going to be doing a colorful hair, look or whatever that's just the week before I color dated everything or I kind of covered it all camera before, but I'm just showing you guys. This was a 613 wig from modern show, hair on Instagram, I'm using a lot of colors today, and this look was inspired by slayed by Jordan. He is on Instagram and YouTube, so go ahead over there and go see what I'm talking about. So I'm using my mixing bowl my on my dye brush and I'm also going to be using my palette. Now when I watched his video, he was saying how to make sure that you just use different colors and not the same colors for every row. So that is what I'm going to be doing and I'm taking these um equal sections, I'm not going to show you to tell you the measurement, because I honestly just eyeballed it but they're pretty, even because the phonic rizal is moving ready to you. So I am just making sure to saturate the hair evenly and nicely going back and forth in my brush, and I do put a lot of die because I'm not gon na use these guys on war. I love the dyes. I noticed that the newer adore hair colors they're more like a gel like consistency where the older ones they're more, like a actual runny die. I just thought to mention that out there I also make sure to just color the ends in the mid shaft. Not the roots, because I wanted to keep the roots gray or live in their mind is more gray lavender. His was more gray. It'S your preference, like I said this was inspired by not completely copied or every, so I am just doing that making sure to feather in so the color can have a smooth transition and so feather and your colors. All you have to do is turn your brush vertically go ahead and further in like that. Okay, if you just leave a horizontal, is gon na be a blunt harsh line, and I did not want that for this particular look now I really like this green Apple. Color, it was very like slime like so I might have to get another wig and go ahead and just do a whole hair of that color, because I was feeling it I was like. Maybe I should just color the whole hair in this color, but no, I stuck to my reference photo and I'm going to accomplish it. So I hope you guys, like this tutorial, well, not really a tutorial. How I do it? Okay, you, oh really. I just wanted to show you guys my technique, wan na how exactly I did this week cuz. I already know I'm going to get several questions asking me exactly what I did to achieve this look, and how did I do this and how did I do that? So I'm just really making sure this feels very detailed so that you guys can see exactly my techniques and what I do for certain wigs and how about a date like this and whatever. So. Let me know if you guys want me to do any more looks any more colors, something that you've always wanted to do, but you're scared to do. Let me know in the comments down below so anybody's wondering that little black thing that I have the little platform is a painter's palette. I did get it in my kit from Paul Mitchell. It just helps me to paint the dye on better and to have like a platform, especially because I didn't have any gloves and there's like no gloves for me to purchase anyway because of the virus or whatever. So I'm just using this as a plaid platform to be as me as possible, even though I did get a little bit of spillage here and there, and you do see me pouring the dye directly on the arm hair - not a lot but um enough for it To be saturated, just because I want it to be saturated, like I don't want any holidays any blind spots and all that stuff holidays is something that we say in school that you know you miss something you miss your colored or something like that. Yes, I am jamming now I have my tunes in the back, but you can't hear cuz I'm on a geek copyrighting but yeah again. I am turning my brush various ways so that there is no harsh lines um for this process and I am going to be taking my time. I did this. This whole process took several hours. I didn't really time because I already knew it was gon na take like a long time, but patience is key and if you want things to turn out good like I do, you will have to take your time, I'm a huge, huge, huge perfectionist. So if I see something that I don't like it seems off, I will start all over again, no matter where I am in the process, it ought to be full face makeup with my wig laid down glued down all of it, and if I see something I Don'T like, I will take everything off and do it all over again, and that is something that will hold me back when I go back to the hair school just because I'm a perfectionist, I have to fix every little thing and they're like no, it's okay! It'S okay, you can go and I'm like. No, it doesn't look right to me so just learn from my mistakes or learn from my wins you. So we are basically halfway finished with the hair and I can kind of see the colors coming together. Even though I did use those bottled colors little bottle dye, I do have colors that aren't technically you know from that. Those bottle dyes is because some of the colors didn't mix and match or whatever - and you know that gave it its own personality. Everything wasn't so super uniform, there's different colors and mixed colors, and I just kind of rolled with it. I liked it. The end result is amazing, so you guys want to see that when it went correct, so here is pretty much the end result of me doing. The whole coloring and I'm gon na let it process for like 15 more minutes and then I'm gon na rinse it out and I'm gon na show it to you guys. The final freaking look, I'm so there she is. Did I not slay that I think I did? I went crazy with these colors okay, I can't help you nothing. I am in love with is weighted, so this is me trying it on trying to do my placement, because I am gon na be doing glue. Now you guys know I don't do glue every day like I do glue this installs cuz. That'S just what I like, but I am doing a stuffed cat method. I hate this messy, it's so messy. It takes so long to do, but I really want that flawless. Seamless lip and can be able to flip my hair different ways or whatever um I'm am taking this red cell comb and I'm just smoothing it into my hairline because you don't want it to be dripping down where or just gon na get stuck everywhere. So I'm just going towards my hairline, I'm going to be drying that cool. If you see me using my hair dryer, just know that everything isn't cool because the cool is going to help dry it and not reactivate it. So that's just what I'm doing, I'm touching it to see if it's dry - and I am gon na - add like a second layer just for security, because I used to do this in the past and it will always come up. Curl up get on my nerves and I just did not like it. So maybe this time it can convince me to use glue again or if you guys have a good that you like to use. Please let me know down below I'm always interested in using things that you guys suggest to see if I like it too, so let me know your faves and maybe your frames can become my face, so I am cutting him be careful because I probably did cut My eyebrow hair cut my skin. I did snip my skin like a couple times there in this video. So just please be careful if you're doing this um, I didn't cut my ear tubs out and I realized that at the last minute, so you're gon na see me go ahead and clip my ear tabs and like try to do that. But honestly, I should have clipped my ears first and then sprayed it because it'll been real better. So as we speak, I'm literally doing it all over again. That'S how much a perfectionist I am so don't be like me. Do your ear taps first then spray? Okay! It'S gon na, be very, you know essential for your meltdown. Okay, yes, I know I know I haven't, did a glue down in forever, okay, but yeah I'm trying to get those like the ear tabs down in studs, because when I used to do this before I couldn't man, your child will always flip up and it would Get on my freakin, that's so after I cut everything I am spraying the spray again just so any of those light parties can like just know and lay down, and then I am taking this home well dry. It won't cool in my little rat tail to like sleep like put down everything, make it look like a actual ball cap or whatever um. You want to press that stuff down, so there's nothing rolling up or anything peeking through underneath your lace, because that's just not good still get I'm just trying to draw everything. Now, I'm gon na be looking and cut off the excess. You see the excess stuff that did not go down, I'm just trying to cut that and I'm cutting my skin in the profit, don't be like me, so I'm taking some foundation. That is my shade or whatever should be honest. We don't really know my shoes, I'm like a whole bunch of shades, but we're gon na take the one that's closest and we're gon na buff that in with my buffer brush just so everything can look smooth taking my alcohol pads, you can use your alcohol. That comes in the bottle whatever, but alcohol past is just easier for me, I'm lazy, so I'm just cleaning up the excess, excess spray or anything because you want your hair to be. You want your hairline to be nice and clean before you add the glue, so you see me I'm putting the glue on top of that stocking cap, the wig cap and my skin. Just so everything it can lay down and it has the maximum security. It won't lift up nothing and I'm doing this pretty thick. I did it for I put this, do the same method for like two other times or three times three layers altogether, and you just wanted to really smooth it out. Okay and you want it to be very thin, but you want it to be thinking the length or whatever. If that makes sense, oh, I am putting the leis on to the glue. The glue is not dried all the way yet, but it's okay. It will dry when I put the little stuff on, but I just think that this way of doing it is way better than when I used to do it. I used to cut it to like fit my hairline and put the glue, but if you just do it like this and rub the lace into the glue or whatever it is just going to stick, has that maximum security that I like or whatever. So, let's just be showing you I'm going to cut it, I cut it, I slit it already and then I'm going to use my eyebrow razor to put it off just because it's gon na give you that Jaggi. Look that seamless look and I think that this lace is supposed to be transparent, lace um. I don't know how I feel about that, I'm putting my last bag on it, so it can. You know yeah really great. I think it turned out better than my reference photo again. This was inspired by slate by Jordan. He is going to Instagram to go. Follow him. Go subscribe to him. Go! Do all that because he is responsible for her. Just came out. You know I did not know where I was gon na go when I'm sold and like it came out like this, like.
