#cassandraolivia #haircolortransformation #haircolortutorial

Good morning guys it's your girl, Cassandra, Olivia back with another hair tutorial this time. I wanted to do something fun and funky, and I figured why not so if you aren't already hit that subscribe button and let's get into it, the first thing that you'll need to accomplish this look is so shimmering light. Shampoo, the purple shampoo you'll, need some little flecks number 1 and 2, some blimey powder by swartz, coffee and the developer. I had a 20 volume and a 40 volume and then we'll have one and only color fix a mixing bowl brush clips and, of course, some gloves and a shower cap. So this is my clients hair. Before we started disclaimer, I did not do her pink. This is my first time ever coloring her hair. I am a licensed cosmetologist and some are owners, so I do not recommend doing this unless you know what you're doing so, let's get into it. If you jacked your hair up, do not be mad at me. I am a licensed professional, okay, so first things first, I use the color fix. Excuse me, the one and only color fix that I mix equal parts. So one part step one in one part step two and I use both bottles on her entire head. So I make one of you know number one, one numbers to mix it together for about 45 seconds until it blended well and let that sit for a second I'm, a part of her hair and then I'm just gon na go apply that all over the pink Parts of her hair and, as you can see, the pinkish she has in is starting to fade in the back. So that's why you see a little bit of blonde there, but this client has actually colored her hair several times. This is just our first time getting her hair colored by me, so I'm just giving you a little bit of hair history. She has had hot pink before she was hot pink. She was blue before she was blue. She had actually tried to bleach her hair, but she said the cotton candy color that she had before the blue would not come out, so she had like pink green blue lavender like the unicorn type of situation, so this is probably like her fifth hair color. Now she's done this year, so yeah. This is my first time styling her hair and coloring her hair, but I just wanted to throw that out there as far as her history. So I mean she's been hot, pink, blue bleached, blonde cotton, candy and then blonde before that. So I would not try this at home unless you just don't care and you just want to risk it all and lessen or maybe really short but cuz. I, like a challenge in his client, was literally asking me several appointments to do this. This neon green, I just figured what the heck was. Kidded done and I'd rather me do it. Then her tried to do with herself at home and then damage our hair. So right now, I'm just going in with the one and only color fix I'm just applying that all over I'm just like, I said we're, the hot pink is and I'm working it through, and you can already see how it's turning like a purpley color this stuff. Maybe took me like five minutes max to apply, I just kind of slowed it down just so you're trying to see how I'm applying it for the people that aren't quite sure how to use it, and I made sure that I put gloves on and just using My applicator brush and then I'm just pulling it through my fingers, because this product is very watery and I felt like, as I was putting her hair was kind of thinning out. She doesn't have a ton of hair, but I did use a whole entire bottle of part one in part two, so you know the mixture just to get the color lift. I did use one box of that. I purchased two to be on the safe side and after I rinse this out I'll go actually in and apply the second color lift. So normally on my ig videos. I would skip through this part, but because I want you know beginners and people that really aren't sure how to do this and other solids to be able to understand what I'm doing. I just kind of slowed it down just a tiny bit and just let it play. This is real time me doing this. Actually, mine I'll just fight it up just a tiny bit, but I just wanted you guys to see the technique that I'm using you want to make sure that you apply the color on the top of the hair part and then apply on the bottom and then Run it through from where the color starts and where it ends so like roots, it's it. Basically, you want to make sure that when you're doing color you take your time, so I always use like a 20 volume or if I use a 30 I'll use it with olaplex or if I use a 40 I mix of all the Plex. The goal is to get her hair light as possible, but we don't want her hair to be falling out in the sink. We still her hair to look pretty much the same as I did when she came in and I like to take my hair process slow overall. This took me six hours, but, as you can see, as I'm running my fingers through this color remover, it's already starting to take that purple out and now you're starting to see the blue and the Pink's disappearing and it did pretty well. This is actually my first time trying it out and I actually found this product on a youtube video that I watched trying to remove red and I couldn't find any videos of removing pink or going from like pink to green. So I believe, I'm the first person on YouTube to do this and I figured what the hell she's paying me to do it. She was on board with me recording her. So I'm like okay: let's do it sis so yeah once I apply that all through her head, I'm just gon na put a processing cap on her head and let her sit for about five to ten minutes. I did put her in the dryer just because I wanted it to lift as much as possible because she has had several colors in her hair and they're all permanent, of course. So I just wanted to make it just a little bit easier. But I sat and watched it so this is actually before I stuck her under the dryer, I'm just working through the product and, as you can see, her hair is now completely blue. She does have a couple of pink spots in there, but that's from the cotton candy color, that's underneath of the blue, but the pink that was originally when we first started is completely gone so right now. This is just me sticking her under the dryer. This is just me showing you you putting her under and then, of course, when she was done for her five minutes. I just rinsed her out, and this is the end result of the first one and only color lift process. So it's light blue in some spot. It'S pretty blonde in the back dark blue all in the front, and then she has hints of pink. So now, I'm just going in with the remainder of that product. The second box that I purchased and I figured what the hell instead of using bleach, I'm like. Let me just go in and just see if this will lift the blue out as much as possible and, to be honest guys. While I was doing this, I didn't recognize the blue lift at all, so I only had this on her head. I applied it. Maybe left it on for two minutes and as I was I Bonnie, I'm like this is not doing anything, so I just ruined it completely out. But once I look back at the footage, I realized that it actually did fade the blue, a tiny bit more and I was able to see more pink peeking through. So this is just me applying it. I'M running my fingers through same exact process that I did before I'm gon na throw a cap on her. I put her under the dryer for literally like two minutes I bought it. It was like this blue is not disappearing. So now we have to go in with hair color, which is Plan B. I really had fun doing this color. I love doing like color challenges and drastic color transformations. I feel like as a stylist, it's good to challenge yourself and this client was completely open with me. I basically let her know like you know this, could you know potentially damage your hair or whatever, but she was on board and the end result came out bomb. Calm so yeah I wan na quit rambling for right now, you guys pretty much get the gist of what I'm doing. Let this sit for two minutes and we'll be back okay, so this is after the second one and only color left that I left on for about two minutes, so she's all blown out and as you can see, the blue is super faded. Now it's still pretty dark in the front, but now we have more of that cotton candy color peeking, through that she had underneath of the blue now to remove that blue color. I'M going in with my Rusk products, I'm using the deep shot: 40 volume developer and a ten point: zero three NL, which is an ultra light blonde, and then I'm mixing that with some flex to dilute it to a 30 volume. And I'm applying this all over. Where the blue is where the pink is and her roots, because I actually need her roots to be blonde to make this neon green possible. So, as I was putting it through, I realized that the color is removing the blue perfectly like it wasn't even offered 20 seconds you see. The ends are already blonde. This hair color took perfectly, and I kind of had to go back to my hair school days and use the color wheel, because you know the opposite: color of blue is yellow, so I decided, let's go in with a blonde instead of a bleach, because bleach is Very harsh on the hair and it drives the dyes deeper into the hair follicle, and I did not want the blue to be stuck in her hair. So, just using some of my education, I went ahead and put a ultra light blonde color, hoping that it would lift and kind of neutralize that blue and it did completely so after this process there was no blue, absolutely no blue. It lightened her roots to in lighter brown. It was still pretty dark because she's about a level 9 or 10 right now, but the only thing that didn't move was the pink the pink lifted the slightest bit. But I knew that for the second process I was gon na have to go back in with my bleach after this and then take that pink out when I hit the roots. So this is just me applying it all over and, as you can see the right side of her head well, you can't really see it, but her right side of her head is completely blonde and you see the front turning. So this is me still applying it. Not even ten minutes later, the blue is going guys, see you later bye. So if you were trying to cancel out a bright color instead of using bleach, just drive it out with a hair color, it's gon na, lift it and remove it in the gentlest way possible and make sure use olaplex or something to protect the hair. So this is the color that we got it soon, as you can see, they're still pink in there, but now the blue is completely gone and we have it to a blonde. So now I'm just going in hitting her roots first and then, as I was hitting her roots, because the pink is kind of sporadic on her hair and I didn't want to get it lost. I just went over it very gently with a 20 volume bleach and I used the sports cloth, which already has all the flecks in it, and I'm just going ahead and hitting those pink spots in her roots. So once I did that I put a cap on and let it process for about maybe five minutes, and this is the color we have now now, because I could not record me putting this in while I was holding the camera, and my ring light was too Far away - and I was already like into this process - I actually just applied the hair color on her hair. While it was wet, I decided - let's, you know, let's go for: let's try the water color type of method on her hair and it took very well the neon is coming through, but what I realized was the roots were still kind of yellow the neon didn't really Pull through at the roots, so it was more yellow and then Vaughn green at the ends, and that's not the look I was going for so I just went in with the remainder of the green that I had and I used Pravana neon green. The vivid and I went ahead and just apply that all over her roots and then I also mixed it where it was still kind of yellow and not taking because it was resistant. We did a lot of processes. I understood her hair was kind of fighting back. I went in with Pravana emerald just a little dot like the smallest dot, and I put it on the tip of my brush and I worked it on top of the neon that I had just to give her like a shadow routing effect, which is what I'm Doing now, so now that we've done all these processes, I'm going in with the olaplex number 2 bond Perfector and I'm gon na. Let this sit for 15 minutes. Her hair isn't too bad right now, but I just want to make sure that this sits and marinates as long as possible. So that way, her hair has a better chance of surviving through all these processes - and I will say, I forgot to add the clip in but after I lifted the second time with the one and only color remover I actually did for her under for a 30 Minute, deep conditioning with just regular conditioner, I'm moisturizing, so here we are. Finally, this is the color that I wanted it to be. Originally, my client is happy. I'M happy! I didn't want to torture, you guys for another 10 minutes with me just pressing her out. So I'm just gon na show you just a snippet of me blow-drying her and then trimming her ends. Her ends were, and even - and you know this process did cause cause a little bit of breakage. If I can speak so when I went ahead and did was just trimmed our ends, I didn't show the whole trim, I'm just showing you me doing the ends, but actually did go in and trim the whole thing, and this just gives it a healthier look and It just you know it just gives it a clean finish. So, as you can see, I'm just taking out the slightest bit of hair. Nothing major in this color looks so pretty look at the shower at the roots, guys so yeah just make sure when you do something crazy, like this, that you're still caring for the hair. Taking your time trimming the ends, you want it to look nice and be the color that you wanted to be, but you also want the hair to be healthy and polished, and I'm trying to get our hair as healthy as possible, even though he did all of These crazy processes, I still care about her endings. I want her hair to be a moisturize, so that's also why I sprayed in a leave-in protein treatment by Rusk. I forget what exactly it is, but I just showed it before I started blow-drying and basically I did that before all of her blow-drying processes, along with an Oregon oil, even just to moisturize her hair. So now we did kind of like a big reveal. My client is loving her hair. For some reason, the ring light was pulling this hair color super bright. So once I spin her around you'll see the true color right now. It'S looking very white yellowy, so yeah. This is how it looked up close and now I'm just going in adding just a couple, little feathers, just to give her a little bit of body which I'm actually shocked, because she did not. Let me bump her hair, not one time. Now. All of a sudden we doing the green and she's like bump it girl bye. So I just put a little bit of shine spray right now. I'M just running my fingers to going ahead and styling and, as you can see, her hair has a lot of dimension to it, so it has like the darker green roots, going into the lime green overall. This color took me six hours from start to finish, which isn't terrible. Considering all the processes I had to do in deep condition, her kind of take it slow, but I will say I did not have to use a toner at all, so the Wella toner that few people that in the beginning, I did not use it at all. She did not need it. This is the end result guys. I hope you liked this tutorial. If you want to see more crazy, color transformations comment down below, do not forget to Like comment and subscribe father you're on the gram bye,

Cassandra Olivia: Negative comments are ignored period ‼️ Thanks to the ones who listened and showed love this client had colored her hair 4 times this year before ever coming to me. She was going to do the green herself whether I did it or not so I figured I’d give her hair the best chance THAT IS ALL. in the beginning I said I’d NEVER do it otherwise and I don’t recommend it but ima let y’all be great cuz I’m getting paid whether y’all like it or not

Heaven Green: Some of y’all need to understand that some people don’t care about having healthy hair, I’m sure she’s completely aware that her hair is unhealthy. She’s livin her best life‍♀️

Jaz: She's brave. I'd rather buy a green wig

K.B. Nicole: The fact that she still has a full head of hair after coloring .... I’m so jealous. I can get 3 highlights and have 4 strands of hair left

Virenda Victoria: Above all....this woman has the strongest hair ever, imagine going through that process four times a year and the hair still look full like that!!!! Salute to her hair #myhairmystylemycolour

Natalie Brooks: I thought the color after the color remover was really pretty. Looked like a galaxy/sunset.

Torie Walenz: cosmo and wanda been real quiet since u posted this

J Cortese: 7:30 -- does anyone else think that that was so gorgeous she should have just kept her hair like that? That blue/pink combination was just so beautiful.

Hannah Weaver: Everyone is complaining about the hate comments but I haven’t even seen one:

Sebastián Corral: The fact that you had to do all that, and she still had hair at the end, speaks wonders of you LOL. The color is awesome and looks great on her.

Nelly Doyley: When the blue came through I was like “what kind of sorcery is this”

CHILL AND UNWIND : I need her confidence to just do what I want when I want and not give a damn about the world and their opinion. She’s a powerful woman. Hands down

Mrs. Yea…Ok…: I’m glad that she came to a professional to get the neon green.

Maddie Baker: As a fellow licensed cosmetologist, just felt it should be known that the opposite color of blue is orange, not yellow. it may seem like a technicality, but when neutralizing, toning, and coloring it can make what should be a beautiful bright platinum into a muddy green/grey color. Not trying to come across as rude! Your work is beautiful!

Jolielive: My hair fell out just looking at her adding the color lol

Tahni R.: The fact that she still has hair after all that... Damn girl, you are TALENTED ♥️

JUICY’S PLANET: Lol there is the “it’s what the client wants “ hair stylist and then there is “I told her no “ hair stylist sometimes you need both . I just ask “is my hair going to fall out ?”

treazure: Whoever getting them braids in the back that stylist is a GOD

ThisIsTori: She went from Wanda to Cosmo.

Lucas Takano Vieira Pinto: OMG you've made a miracle on her hair! The end result is perfect, with vibrant colors and nice trimmed ends ✨

ickivicki: She lives and deals with her hair daily. I’m sure she can tell that it isn’t healthy. Sis just wants colorful hair. 50 million comments saying the same shit

Wait, what???: All I have to say is: That was a lot of hard work, and the client can always do a big chop or systematically cut the green out and promote new growth at some point. It's not a look everyone can carry, but she seems to be able to.

Nazli Clarke: It was so cool seeing the colour fix remove all the layers. It must’ve felt like a fresh palette after

Gonner M'Leggies: Incredible work girl! This is awesome!! The pravana vivids have been my go to since hair school. :) look how happy your client is afterwards! Hope you stayin safe, girl. Icky Vicky: I’m in cosmetology school and looking forward to being a color specialist and I didn’t even think to use a bling color instead of a bleach to get my blue out. Honestly that tip is going to be the best life saver

Lynnette Patton: LOVE the fact you used the blondeme.... I have had so much luck with it! I LOVE green and I have been sad when people make it weak and bland. I heard so many people say its "ugly" and I think thats far from the truth. Its just a color that has to be done WELL, and damn, you do it well and your client looks lovely!!! Thanks for the share!!!

Cedar Rick: I came from watching hair fail videos and i gotta say, YouTube was looking out for me. I love me some crazy bright colors and you treated that woman right! Her hair looks amazing, she looks so happy and the before/after pics are wild! I loved her color before too, but something about the toxic green color looks so cool to me.
