Affordable Body Wave Wig | Isee Hair Body Wave Wig Review

Girl, you are embarrassing, me sit nice, okay, hi everyone welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is dominique. If you are new here, please make sure that you are subscribing to this channel and like this video, if you liked it in today's video, i'm going to be sharing all the details on this wig from icy beauty hair. This is my first time ever purchasing with them, and i just wanted to make a video, because i've been getting a few questions from people asking me like specs about the wig. How do i like the wig things of that sort, and i just wanted to make an all-encompassing all-encompassing video that um you all can refer to? If you have questions about this hair, let's go ahead and get right into it. Alright, y'all! So, first things: first, this is a 4x4 floor by floor. This is a 4x4 lace, closure wig. I am not a full frontal type of girl. I don't think my edges allow that i don't know if y'all could tell, but these are my edges right here and i just i don't know how a full lace, but it doesn't matter so yeah. I am a lace, closure girl. I think i will always be a lace, closure, girl and that'll be just that on that. So this is a 4x4 lace closure wig. It is a body wave, texture, brazilian hair, 18 inches long and that's something that might be debatable and i'll get into that in a second uh, and this is the 250 density wig. They do have four options. I think it's 150, 180, 200 and 250.. I decided to get the 250 because the differences between the 200 and 250 or the 150 and a 250 weren't that big of a price change. So i decided to get the 250 in the event that it was too thin for the 180 density or the 200 density, and if it was too much hair then i would have just taken some tracks out, so i recommend going for the 250. You all will see why, in a second, i purchased this wig off of the icy beauty hairs website, i'm i think they have an amazon storefront, but i just decided to do it from the website. I guess i think by the i think, with the research that i did. Um people were saying that the hair is is different on amazon than it is on their website. I think i hope i'm not making that up, but i just decided to go with their website. I purchased it on october 23rd and it came on october 29th, so it took a full seven days or so for me to receive this wig in the mail. It did come packaged pretty well um in your standard, typical wig packaging. It did come with a wave cap, i believe some lashes and then the wig itself. Now i solely purchased this wig off of brown sugar on youtube: hey girl, if you're watching she's, so beautiful y'all, but she does hair reviews and i purchased this wig based off of her recommendation. I was looking for a wig that holds a curl, and this is a wig that holds a curl now. The way that i have my hair styled at the moment is just a loose curl. I literally just ran the flat iron through it, twisted it around and slid it right off. I didn't curl it back up and hold it or anything like that. I just twisted it down the shaft of the hair and then i just removed the flat iron off of the hair. So this is why you're seeing these loose curls they're, not tight, but i will insert some photos to show you all how i usually do my hair. If you watch my vlogs and you know exactly how my hair looks like sometimes looks good. Sometimes it doesn't because i'd be doing too much, but you know this is how the hair looks and it holds a curl like no other. It'S really good with holding a curl. They do drop into nice waves after a few days and even then those waves are wearable like you can get up and go with those waves. Keep in mind if it's a fresh install of this wig i'll, wear it to sleep. But after a few days of the got to be spray coming loose, i will not wear this wig to sleep. I set it down and then i put it back on in the morning or whenever i need to get out the house. So i'm not sure if that affects how long the curls last or whatever the case may be, but just yeah. Just keep that in mind. The lace was pretty easy to work with. This was my first time actually trying to customize my lace, i believe yeah. This was like one of my first times trying to work with the lace or customize the lace and, in my opinion, it was really really easy to work with. I did not bleach the knots, which is something that i will be doing when i need to wash this hair again, but the wig is freshly washed at the moment. Next time i take this. Wig off i'll probably be bleaching the knots not because i need to bleach the knots, but just to test it out and see the way that i minimize the look of the black knots, because the knots are very black they're very dark. I just use some like lace, tint hairspray, you can get it from walmart. I insert a picture here. I use that and a little bit of my foundation and i mix the two together and that's how i get my lace to kind of look like my skin tone. I don't know what that is. What is that yeah? That'S how i get my lace to blend in with my skin tone and then on top of that, once i set it down with the got2b spray. I use some of my contour powder and i mix it with my all over face powder to kind of blend. In the lace as well, once it's on my forehead, then that's when i'll go on top again to further blend out the lace and make it a bit more seamless with my skin uh the size of this wig. It'S a standard. I believe it's a standard size. I wasn't able to pick like medium, large or small, but it does stretch, it does have a good amount of stretch and it does have combs on either side and in the back of the wig. So it's going to so it's going to be secure. I would say i have like a a decent sized head, it's not the smallest head, but it's also not the biggest head, so it fits my head really well and i don't have any issues with the size of the wig. Now i did go ahead and dye. This hair jet black using box eye um y'all. When i tell you straight out the box, the hair is soft, very, very nice, easy to run your fingers through and even through the dyeing and washing process. The hair is still so soft and so supple, but this is probably one of the softest brazilian hair textures that i've worked with. So that leads me to say, even after dyeing the hair, there is still little to no shedding the most shedding that i got was after plucking, the hairline and on my second wash. So when i wash the hair the first time there wasn't a lot of shedding, but the second time there was a little bit more shedding, but it wasn't enough to be alarming or anything of the sort. So you shouldn't have to worry about shedding. But again remember i didn't bleach the knots, so i don't really know if you would experience more shedding if you were to bleach the knots, but that would only be a little part right because it's a 4x4 lace closure. Now i did mention that this is an 18 inch wig. But honestly i don't know it's. The wig is giving 16 inches. That'S what it's giving for me now. I wanted a wig that wasn't going to be long or anything like that, because i bought this wig with the intentions of keeping it curled and like a nice short kind of look, but not too short, where it's like. It looks like a bob, but the hair was kind of giving bobbish length like lavish length. You know what i mean, so i was like girl what is going on. I honestly think this still might be an 18 inch wig. It just seems like it's shorter because i keep the hair curled, but even when i do curl the hair, i just feel like it should be longer. I don't know y'all so yeah. Let me show you all as well as the 250 density. This is how much hair you're going to get i'm just going to move all the hair to the front. This is all the hair that you're getting and honestly, i feel like for a 250 density wig, it's giving 150. Maybe it's just a natural density. In my opinion, it doesn't seem too too full or anything like that like this is how much hair is on the wig. It'S very light, it's not heavy at all. But again, if you are getting this wig and you want to be on the safe side, just go with the 250 density. If you need to take some tracks out, you definitely can and then i will show you all how it looks on the side. So you see it's very natural, like i'm sure if you got it like, if you got this hair um layered up at your salon or if you know how to lay your hair yourself, if you layered it up, it would probably look much fuller. I try to layer my hair, like you, can see. I tried to layer, my hair, my hair, but it just no girl. No girl, you are embarrassing. Me sit nice, okay, all right and, like i said, i purchased this wig with the intentions of keeping it curled. So i really don't know how this hair would look if you were to straighten it all around and in my opinion, when i did try to straighten a few pieces in the back before i curled the hair um, it just looked a little thin, so i wouldn't Recommend straightening this hair unless you got it in a longer length or if you're getting it in a bob, but other than that. I feel like this hair isn't really meant in my for me, i wouldn't purchase this hair to straighten it. I would just buy straight hair, but i would purchase this hair for sure without a doubt, if you want some curls in your head. Okay, ultimately, i give this hair a 8 out of 10., just because of those few cons that i said, i don't think it's necessarily true to length and the density of the hair. It'S it's kind of not it's not as full as i would have suspected, but it's still a nice natural um density and i've had this hair. I had it on. I got it on the 29th and it is currently, i think i've had it for a month. Yeah i've had it for a little over a month. It'S december 4th when i'm filming this, so i've had this hair for a little over a month and i've worn it every single day. If i leave the house, definitely an affordable wig. Oh, i forgot to mention how much a wig is. Let me do this real, quick. Oh i'm! So sorry y'all, this wig was 171 dollars at the time that i purchased it. So again, i purchased mine on october 23rd, so it was 171 for a 18 inch. 4X4 lace, closure wig, which i think is a an amazing price, all right y'all. That is the end of today's video.
