Oh, my god, what's up y'all welcome back to my channel, it's your girl blessing. You know who it is and i'm back again with another video, so today's video i'll be showing y'all how i installed this wig on myself, and this is like my first time actually installing a wig. I'Ve always been so scared to like install my own wig, like just like just to cut the lace like. I just don't want to do it, but my friend who'll be doing my hair like she's like been so booked and stuff. So i was okay i'll. Take it upon myself to install my own wig and see how it comes out so yeah. This is the outcome. So if you want to see how i got this little cute look keep watching and let's go ahead and get into the video okay. So first thing you'll need is a wig cap and a fresh set of braids. Then you want to go ahead and poke a hole around your ears through your wig cap. Then you want to go in with your guts to be spray and spray. It right on your hairline and you want to spray enough so that it will hold. You want to keep blow drying until you feel like the cap is completely dry, then you want to go ahead and cut it right down the middle and you want to cut it along your hairline as far back as you wish and right here, i'm just testing. My wig to see how it will look if i was to go ahead and glue it, but clearly, as you see right here, it wasn't right, so i had to go back in and cut some more of the cap off. I then went in with my contour palette and my foundation that matched my skin tone, and i place that right on top of the wig cap, so that the wig will look as naturally as it can right here. I'M cleaning the excess makeup and the excess spray. Like the gossipy spray that i got on my forehead personally, i like trying on my wig several times to make sure that it looks right along the wig cap before i just glue it, because i don't want it to look weird and the wig cap will be Showing underneath so, you want to get your contour palette and your foundation and put it inside your wig on the lace. So whenever you glue it, it'll blend right with your skin and then right here the glue got really really messy. I don't know what happened but ignore that, but basically i'm just dotting it all throughout my hairline from ear to ear, and then you want to go ahead and just like you know smooth it all. The way through you'll see what i mean: okay y'all. So this is what i meant by when i said to smooth it through like get a comb like the back of it and just like smooth it all the way through your hairline. Don'T just leave it dotted because it will not dry like that, and it will look really clumpy. I prefer to just use two layers of the glue because i've seen videos where people use like three four five layers and i feel like that's just a lot of glue to just put on my head. So i prefer to just use two, but you can use how many layers, as you feel like, and you want to go ahead and just blow dry until it turns clear. To be honest, i don't know why my glue wasn't drying how i wanted to dry, but it will dry later in the video just keep watching so right here. You want to get your wig and go ahead and pull it and pull the hairline of your wig and put it on top of the glue. You then want to go in with a rat tail comb and like comb, the hair onto the glue. So it will be really really stuck to your forehead. If you know what i mean but as y'all see like it's still white right here, but don't worry about that, it's all going to dry and get clear later in the video. So just keep watching but yeah get your raw tail comb and just keep combing the wig on your forehead throughout the whole hairline. Okay! So right here i got my scissors and i cut the excess hair around my ears so that it won't be bothering me because if you leave it, it will bother you so just cut around your ear. You don't really got to cut too much, but you see what i'm doing. Okay so right here i got my gossipy spray and i sprayed it on the ends of my hair. So have a tight grip and, as you'll see like, i said, the glue, dried and it's all clear period. Okay, so now you want to go in with your elastic band and tie it right on top of the glue and the lace whatever you want to call it. You want to go ahead and tie it right there and i left mines there for about. Like 30 minutes and did my makeup and then after my makeup, i took it off and it was done. You know, okay, so, while your elastic band is on, you can go ahead and part the style on how you want to part your wig. So i went with the side part. So what you want to do is you want to get some tweezers and plug the side parts, so it will have like a natural look: okay y'all. So this was the scary part for me. So basically what i did. I just cut the lace down the middle and then got my razor and then i just raised it all the way down to the end of my you know to my ear and then, but you don't want to cut it like straight down. You want to have a kind of like a zigzag, you know look, so it will look natural and not so like blunt, if you know what i mean: okay, so y'all still see all that lace on my forehead, but i still went back in and cut all That lace off because it was excess and you don't need excess lace because it make it look unnatural, okay, y'all. So this is how the lace look after i finished cutting and it didn't look too bad, as i thought it would look so yeah, okay! So now it's time to make some edges and let me tell y'all something i don't do edges so don't come for my freaking edges after y'all see them well, it's not bad, but like it's not like it's the best. So don't come for me, okay, okay! So what i'm doing is i'm bringing out some front hair, so i can be able to make some edges and you want to bring out all the front hair throughout the whole wig. Okay, so right here, i'm just plucking my hairline from my edges, but unless you don't like thin edges, go ahead and don't pluck it, but i don't like thick edges, so i will be plucking my edges. Okay, then you want to get your razor and go ahead and razor down the hair, and you want to cut it short enough so that it can make you some cute edges, like i said, do not cut from my edges because, as you'll see, i'm clearly struggling To do my edges so don't come for me because i will come back for you, okay, it's like, but anyways yeah. That'S how i do my edges so yeah. I just keep watching. I guess! Okay, so you want to go ahead and get your elastic band again and tie your edges down for about like 20 30 minutes. I left mine's on for, like i think, like 20 minutes, i remember, but after 20 minutes go ahead and take off the elastic band and then your edge is going to be there okay, y'all! So right here i was so happy that my hair came out. Looking so cute like is that blessing? Yes, it is okay, okay, so right here i took my concealer and my angle brush and i went in and defined my part so that it would look way more defined than what it was looking and that's how it's supposed to look. Okay, natural is period okay, so now it's time to style my hair up a little bit. So i took my water spray and it's nothing but water inside the spray, no conditioner, no oil, just water, and i sprayed my hair all the way down and i used my brush to like detangle any tangles that was inside as you'll see right here. Looking like a baddie, okay, okay, so this is how it looks after it's all wet and it's so cute and curly. But yes, i did color the hair myself. The link will be down below and everything else about, the hair like where i got it from and all that stuff it will also be down below so be sure to check it out, but yeah y'all. That is the final look on how to hair look and it's so cute, okay, y'all. So this is how the hair finally turned out - and all i can say is i did a really good job like for my first time, like actually like putting on the wig cutting the lace, the bobcat measure, all that stuff doing. Even i really can't do edges like that. I kind of tried on the edges, so you know, but this is how it turned out, and i'm freaking in love like this, is like my favorite color like when i do hair like i'm always doing like burgundy or like red, like it's, my favorite color. To do on my hair, so whenever it like gets more dry, i know it will look better because it's kind of like still kind of like wet, but this is so pretty. I did a damn near good, ass job kudos to me post, but anyways y'all. Thank y'all so much for watching this video hope y'all enjoyed this little tutorial on how to install a little wig or whatever, but don't forget to like comment and subscribe to my channel and i'll be seeing y'all with my next video peace.
