To say, yup, i'm back yup, hey guys, what's up um, i'm here with another video or whatever um today is gon na, be something different. I'Ve never done before, something that you have never seen something. I'Ve never tried to practice before um. It is going to be a very interesting video because some of y'all may not be knowing this, but i'll be doing my own hair. You know yeah so today, i'm gon na be dying. My hair orange or like a ginger like a dark, deep orange with like yeah, you know what i'm saying exactly. This is the hair i'm going to be using um, it's very old. Obviously, it's not looking the best. You know it's a 20 no 22 inch, kinky curly um wig from icy hair um and it's a lace front. I don't know if it was like mongolian improving. I don't remember that, but i got this wig like maybe two years ago so um i haven't worn. It in forever, so i was like. Let me just you know, customize it. You know revamp it see. If i want to re-wear it in like orange color, you know. So that's what i'm gon na do whole process. I'M gon na bleach it i'm going to dye it i'm going to show you all that i've never done this before. So if it goes bad, i'm definitely not uploading this. If you haven't already subscribe - and let me know what the videos i should be doing - okay, so okay, so i'm going to be starting off with taking some bleach powder. This one is from l'oreal. I had two different bleaching powders that i bought. I bought this one and then the bw2 one, just because i was like um, i didn't know how much bleach powder i would need, so i bought two different ones. I usually use the blue one, but i wanted to try the white one because it goes with the um volume developer. So this one is the volume 40 developer that i'm putting in. I use a good bit of it about a quarter and then i'm going to go ahead and use a 31 a little bit more of that just to make sure it lifts properly, and then i just went ahead and mixed it a lot to make it one Homogenous you know whatever and then i start adding water at this point just to make it all one consistency and i mix it and i mix it and i mix it yup, that's what i did and i left it alone for a little bit and added more Developer then, i went ahead and put the hair in just like threw it in there and um. Let it do its thing and i just like made sure it like um, went all throughout the hair. Um made sure that it touched every strand. Everything was coated by the way i also put hot water in this bleach bath. I heard it works better with hot water. So that's what i did - and here i am just like massaging the hair making sure everything is fine. So after about 25-30 minutes, i let it sit for a little bit um and when i came back to it it was not the color i was expecting it to be. It didn't lift enough. So if you see here, i didn't lift that much at all. Really, i wasn't really happy with those results, so i decided to go ahead and do another bleach bath for it, because i just didn't think this would be able to take any kind of color at all. As you can see, so i'm just like washing it all. The bleach out here and then i'm going to be redoing the bleach bath. I just let it sit for a minute and then i went ahead and added the 30 and 40 developer again. First, this time, instead of doing the powder first and - and i feel like this mixture was a lot better than the one i did before. Just because it looked a little you know put together. The consistency was a lot better for sure, like um. When you see me mixing it, it definitely looks a lot better than the first one did. It just looks so like more consistent and more like smoother. For some reason i don't know, i think i just kind of messed up the first batch really. So that's what i am doing here, i'm just going ahead and mixing it again, just to make sure it looks good, and then i just added a little bit of extra like developer that i had saved over. I was literally just gon na use that one little bottle, but obviously it wasn't enough - and here i'm adding more hot water to it. I'M gon na go ahead and add the wig again and you can see it's a little brown, but it's not completely brown and i'm gon na go ahead and just do the same thing i did before and i'm just gon na massage it. And this time i show you um the denman brush that i was using to make sure the bleach went all throughout the hair and onto each strand of hair. So if you can see it's a little bit more smoother now, so i came back to it. After about 40 minutes this time - and it's definitely, the color is definitely lifted a lot more than i did the first time and i was very happy with these results, so i was like okay, no more bleaching. Let me just go ahead and wash it so i went ahead and washed it, and i really liked what i saw when i was washing it, and i thought you know what i think i'm ready to go ahead and do the coloring. So i was really excited for this part, so i just washed it all out. You know made sure every all the bleach was like gone completely because you leave some bleach out. You'Re gon na get some over processed hair. So if you can see the knots and everything everything's like bleached, like all of it is like lifted, the color is just completely. You know it's yup. It is what it is. So i added some hot water again into my bath for um, the dye part. I'M doing the watercolor method, which i saw from a youtuber named tatiana ali and the way she did her hair was so nice. So i was like you know what let me do it i'm taking the color. I think that was french cognac and i just threw it into the water mixed it in and then threw it back into the water again, then i went ahead and used another color which is going to be. I think this one is um. What is this one? I don't even know what it's called that one's cinnamon. I went ahead and used that one, and then i took the last one, which is the orange blaze which um supposed to make the orange really pop. I only used a little bit at first, but then i was like you know. What let me go ahead, go ahead and add the rest. So then, i just went ahead and mixed the whole thing for real and i put a brush in to see if the color would look like the color i wanted. I saw that from tatiana ali as well, so i was like okay. I think this color. I want, i guess so then, after that i put the hair in and i was ready to color it and as soon as you put the hair in honestly, like it just starts to like turn like you know like i just did the same thing i did With the bleach bath - and i just like massaged all the water into it made sure like it touched every strand made sure that i was able to you know get through and i brushed it through again. Of course um - and i know that because i bleached it twice - i'm definitely gon na lose a little bit of curls and i was okay with that, because beauty is pain. Am i right so i went through it with a brush a lot um. The front was really the lace like the release front was really like naughty. I don't know why, but because it's old, maybe but yeah, i did that and i just let it sit in there for a little bit as you can see it's just like you know. It'S already taking really well and i was kind of scared because it looked really dark and not like the color. I wanted it, so i was kind of like scared. I wasn't really feeling the color, so i added like more of the orange blaze and um. You know just mixed it around a little bit more as you can see it's kind of changing color, but not really so then i added the hair back in again and i just wanted to see the color lips because i was it wasn't really lifting for some Reason like it wasn't really giving the color i wanted it. It was very dark like super dark and i was like that's not ginger. So then um as you can see here, it's kind of lifting kind of not very little so then i want to add the rest of the orange blaze, like literally all of it, and you can literally see the transformation in the water. Look exactly exactly that's exactly what i wanted so then i went in. Did that and look how beautiful the hair is, just so nice, nice and orange ready to be don't look at the lace ready to be worn? Basically, i left it in there for a little bit, and you know after that you know what i had to do. I was satisfied, so i was like okay. Let me go ahead and wash it so after basically washing out everything of the hair, i went ahead and used me olaplex number, five shampoo. It doesn't matter what shampoo you use, but i just had this on hand and it's great for colored hair. So i was like okay, let me go ahead and use that to shampoo my hair and after that you know, i brushed it all throughout made. Sure, like i got all the tangles and whatever out um, and there was still some dye coming out of course, but it should most of it should stay in for the most part, because i use watercolor method, then i used the um silicon mix hair treatment. This is basically like conditioner, but i deep conditioned it basically and i ran it all through the hair. I use like a whole bunch, as you can see, and i basically sat it down for about maybe 20-ish minutes i would have sat down for longer, but because, for the purposes of this video i needed to get this done tonight. It was late. I had to get it finished, you know what i'm saying. So i let it sit, you can let it sit for even a day, maybe in 24 hours. Even you know to restore it, but that's what i did hey besties, i'm back here and i um washed out the deep conditioner and i dry, the hair blue dry blow dry. I blow dry the hair. So now i was like 80 dry, and this is what it looks like don't mind the mannequin. It is very old, but this is what it looks like. It looks like this, but now i dried it and it looks very orange like like very reddish orange. Like you know, it's definitely what i was looking for. So this is what it looks like i kind of tried it on low-key, but obviously it doesn't look presentable. Like obviously because of the bleaching extreme bleaching and like the dyeing of the hair, all in one sitting, it's the curl pattern is well it's just giving very much like you know: it's not good. It'S not good. I'M gon na check back in tomorrow, after i've done everything to make it look good um and i'm gon na show you find a product tomorrow, all right yeah, you could say like what is it giving and first of all the fit? Oh exactly this is the finished product, and this is me styling it and it's over you're done you're dead. I put in um, got to be sprayed just um like glue up the front part, and then i used ghost bond glue. This is my first time using ghostbum glue for the sides. It didn't really work but nobody's gon na know about that. I use foaming a foam wrap to lay the edges down and then like get this front part of the hair a little bit um to give it like a wet look and then, like i scrunch the rest of the hair with this. Whatever this is called. Add some shine and anti-frizz serum and yup, and i tinted the lace because it was super orange like when i first tried it on. I um tinted it with this um lace, 10 spray, and it did get a little bit on the front part of the hair right here, but i think it still looks good. I think it has like a little like kind of like an ombre like brown to it, so i i messed with it like i'm, not even mad about it. What do y'all think, though, what y'all think like did i snap alright, so thank you guys for watching this um. If you enjoyed it, if you stayed throughout the whole process, thanks so much because this was too long, it's gon na take me forever to edit, but um. Thank you for watching. Please, like comment and subscribe. Do all that fun stuff, and let me know what next video you want from me: next um i'm gon na go i'm gon na take some pictures and i'm gon na go. I'M gon na go all right!
