The steadfast love of the lord never ceases his mercies, never end. They are new every morning. Great, is your faithfulness hi guys and welcome back to part two of this ash blonde series. I came in the sun today just to show you guys what it looks like if you would like to see how i colored this hair check out part one. That is how i dyed it bleached it as well as bleached my knots in this video for part. Two i'll be showing you guys how i apply the wig. I don't use glue on my wig, so you'll see that later on in this video be sure to like comment and subscribe and let's get started so first starting off, i'm going to bleach my knots just so it looks a little bit more natural, especially since i'm Not gluing mine down, so i'm just taking a little bit of bleach and 20 volume developer and make sure that it's very thick you do not want it runny and thin because it will bleed through your knots and bleach, the top or the roots of your hair. So keep it very thick and just put a nice layer or coat of bleach over your knots and then let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. If you have a darker skin tone, let it sit longer if you're a lighter skin tone, don't let it sit quite as long as i did, while your knots are being bleached on your wig, go ahead and take care of your natural hair, your hair up under The wig, you definitely want to make sure that your hair is nice, clean, blown out and protected under your wig. We don't want our wigs to cause breakage to our real hair. We want this to be a protective style to grow out our hair. So i went ahead and washed and conditioned my hair, our shampoo and condition rather and then i blow dried it out, make sure it's 100 dry because i'm going to put braids in i'm just going to curl my hair back to the back, but be sure that Your hair is dry because i usually leave my braids in for about two weeks and you don't want your hair to be wet and it build up residue or anything in your hair, so go ahead. Dry. Your hair completely just take some edge control. Put your braids down also be sure your braids are neat. They don't have to be 100 perfect lines, but just make sure your hair is a hundred percent tangle free because, like i said, we want this to be a protective style to protect our real hair help. Our real hair grow and not just a cute style. We want our wigs to actually help us with our real hair. Also, if you don't know how to cornrow your own hair, you don't have anybody to help you break down your real hair. You can do flat twists to the back, or also you can just take some gel, do a real slick down, bun and just make sure in the back that your bun is really small. It does not have to be braids. This is just how i choose to do mine, because my braids can stay pretty neat under the wig for two weeks. Now that i have finished braiding my entire hair, i am taking some of the curls blueberry bliss oil and putting it on my scalp. I usually put this on my scalp three to four nights out of the week. I do not sleep in my wigs, i take them off every night. That'S why i keep my hair, nice and neat in braids, because i do take it off and just put a head scarf over my braids at night. I'M also taking some of that blueberry bliss oil and adding it to the ends of my hair. Just because those are the weakest points of your hair. After that i am taking my wig cap. I do not wear a wig without a wig cap, because i do not want the combs from the wig pulling on my hair, my edges anything so i take a wig cap and i take a little bit of makeup. Just powdered makeup and put it on my wig cap just to make it a little bit more of my skin complexion. Also bleaching of the knots helps with this. If you do not bleach your knots put a little bit of your makeup on the actual wig under the wig itself, so that it matches a little bit better and, as you can see, the roots are not the roots, but the scalp part of my wig is Darker and that is from bleaching the knots. The only thing i did to get the bleach off was rinse it in water and then shampooed, in condition just to make sure all the bleach was off. Now i'm going to take my hot comb plug it in and i'm just going to use it at the top to lay it down. This is the point: if you want to glue your wigs go ahead and use some got to be free spray or got to be or any type of wig glue that you would like and glue it down now only reason i did not glue this wig down Was like i said, i take mine off at night and i only glue mine down if i have somewhere very, very important. I want to go, but just doing this simply does not make my wig fall off during the day. I also do add a little bit of hairspray, just regular hairspray on my hairline and then blow dry it to give it a little bit of a tacky feel so it's similar to it being glued down. But i can still take it off at night with just adding some hairspray. Now i'm going to the front, i cut off a few baby hairs, just adding in a little bit of baby hairs, nothing crazy, because i typically don't wear baby hairs on a day to day basis, but it helps it look a little bit more natural. So i'm just adding in a few baby hairs on each side and then taking my hot comb again to make it lay flat. One thing i do want to mention about these electric hot combs: they definitely get hot or warm and they're perfect for your weave to lay your hair down, but if you're used to the traditional hot comb, that's not electric! Beware! These electric ones do not get nearly as hot as those do so you can also use a curling wand if you don't have a hot comb. Just take your curling wand, let it heat up and press it down at the root, as well as you can use a regular flat iron go ahead and let your flat iron heat up close the plates and just rub it across the top of your hair. And you can also add a little bit of setting lotion or foaming lotion to the top put a head scarf on and let it set. That is what i do on a day-to-day basis. If my wig looks a little bumpy, i do not pull out a hot comb every morning. Maybe once every other week i pull out the hot comb to lay it down with heat other than that i just use setting or foaming lotion put it at the root. Let it sit put a head scarf on and it's flat now you can stop here. If you would like i'm showing you guys the hair and how it looks straight with no curl to it. This is it blow dried and a light press with the flat iron. I usually don't wear my hair straight straight straight or pin straight as some call it. So i'm going to go through and take my curling iron. I am using the titanium nano baby, bliss curling iron and i'm just going to go through and put curls in it before i curl my hair, though i do use the garnier fructis serum. It is amazing. It makes your hair feel so soft. It smells wonderful if you see any little steam while i'm curling that's coming from the curling iron. Don'T worry, it is perfectly fine, but it is an amazing product. I would suggest you get it. You can get it at your local, drugstore cvs, kroger very inexpensive. It'S about five dollars. You can also use it on your natural hair as well. A little goes a long way. You only need about one to two pumps for your entire wig. So beware don't put too much because then your hair will feel greasy it'll be way down as well as when i'm curling. I alternate my curls. I don't go all the same direction. I like a little bit of the messy look, so i may do one going to the front. Then the next one i'll do going to the back and just alternate all the way across your head and then you'll get the perfect bouncy curl as you'll see a little bit later on, i'm going to use some got to be free spray and just spray. The roots and the curls a little this curl, this wig, i'm sorry, doesn't hold curls that well they do tend to fall so just by adding a little bit of hairspray or freeze spray. It helps the curls last longer and throughout the day, and you get a little bit of that beachy wave look by the end of the day, but you definitely still have that wave. Look in there and you're going to see it it's in a yellow bottle. When i spray it, that is also something that you can use on the hairline. If you want your wig to be a little bit tacky and lay down a little bit more. But if your perf right, there is what i'm using, but if you're perfectly fine with not adding any spray and just making sure your wig is on and secured. You can definitely do that as well as i'm getting to the top part of my hair, i'm taking a little bit smaller sections to curl. I just want a little bit more bounce, a little bit more volume at the top. I don't mind it not being as much at the bottom, because i want it to be full full at the top. So that's why i'm taking a little bit smaller sections but like i'm doing the same thing all the way across alternating back and forth and as you can see one side, curled versus one side straight. This is the difference both very beautiful, but i just prefer more of a curled or wavy look, so i'm going to go ahead and do the exact same process on the other side of my hair and then i'll be back to show you how it looks curled. So now that both sides are completely curled - and i have all the curls in this - is what it looks like after this video i did go in and trim the end, so the wig is a little bit shorter. Of course, bleaching. It will mess up your ends. A little so now i'm just going to try and clean up the part. I see a lot of people do this, so i tried it, i'm not going to say it made a huge difference. I probably won't do it again, but if you like to do it, you definitely can go pick up. Some spray hair dye at your local beauty supply. Take your red tail comb on your part and spray it down, and it just gives it a nicer, cleaner part for some people to me. It did make it a little bit more noticeable, but nothing crazy. Nothing. I felt i need to continue to do hope. You guys enjoyed the video like comment and subscribe. You
