Quick & Easy Wig Tutorial | Isee Hair | Kalani Thais

Hey guys it's kalani thais and today i'm going to be doing a wig installation tutorial with icy hair. Let'S get right into this video so for today's ball cap i'm going to be using pantyhose, i got them from my local walgreens and they just work really amazing, they're super stretchy and see-through, and i love how they just go over my braids first thing: i'm going To be doing is cutting me some ear tabs because you always need ear tabs before doing anything with the wig. Next, i'm going to be using got to be. You can find this at your local walgreens. I think they sell them at walmart too, and just spreading that one nicely over the cap. I love how it spreads honestly. This is really better than using the spray got to be so after everything is evenly spread across your hair. Go ahead and get out your blow dryer and just blow dry everything and wait till it's nice and dry. You could let it air dry. This is so much better. I also like to use an elastic band with the heat and just press it down to make sure that everything stays in place in the box. They do give you two wig caps to use and we're only going to be using one. I just like to put it on the back and also sew it up, because we don't want any of that to move for the ball cap today, i'm going to be using the even lace tint in the color light warm brown, i believe, just shake it up. Spray it across your hair evenly and take a brush, and just i guess rub that in now i'm going to be taking my shears and cutting the bald cap, i like to use shears or tinkles. You can get them for 99 at the store or like your local beauty, supply store and it's a really clean cut. It'S better and also clean up all that makeup and gunk that's on your forehead. Now, here's the fun part! Finally putting on the wig. The first thing i'm going to be doing is sizing it up to my head and cutting me some ear tabs. If i can figure out where to cut it out, struggling but yeah go ahead and cut you some ear tabs, because you want your ears to be able to breathe. The worst thing is having your ear squish by the way, lace, and it's just terrible now take some got to me and i'm going to show you guys my easy method of installing the wig. The first thing i start is taking my shears and cutting the lace to my forehead. It'S so much better than cutting it before it gets on your head. It just makes it so much easier and i'm going to zoom in, for you guys, just cut it in the front, follow along your hairline following the wig hairline, whatever you want to follow along. This makes it a lot easier. So after cutting off that excess lace. Now i'm just going to be parting out. I guess this part would be the baby hairs most definitely and you're going to use this to help you to melt that lace into your skin. I guess i didn't record where i put the guy to be on my head, but really all i'm doing is i put the god to be under there, put the baby hairs on top and pressed it down with the comb and then started blow drying it now. Just continue doing the same thing all across your head, and i promise this wig will be melted good enough. So now that everything is melted laid that little um, yellow tint at the top is going to go away. Eventually, i think i sprayed some guy to me and if you have it just spray, some god to me now, i'm just hot combing everything back. I don't know if i put on my elastic bin next or i'm probably going to cut yes, i cut the edges for the baby hairs after everything is cut and i can finally see i'm going to be putting the elastic band on again just to sit. While i figure out where my part is going to be at first, i did put a milk part, but i changed it because i decided that a side part looks so much better and it fit the frame of my face. So just part where you want it to hot comb that part and you'll be set to start wetting, the hair and customizing it. How you want it to look. The baby hairs were a bit too thick for me, so i just took my razor comb and just raised it off some of that excess hair. Now i'm cutting it so that i can go ahead and start styling the baby hairs. How i want it to look. Let me tell you these baby hairs would give me a run for my money, like it was stressing me out so much. It wasn't coming out how i wanted it to come out, but i mean it gave me something in the end and i guess that's. Okay. Here'S where i did change my part and i started using my even stick - didn't even know they had. These saw it at the beauty. Supply store, got it and i'm so glad i did. It really does lay the hair very well when you pair with the heat comb. Just do not turn up the heat too much, because it will start to burn and smell like burning hair. Let me tell you, after everything was finally laid how i wanted it to be. I started to cut the hair to frame it to my face, and you know the wet hair was giving it was giving a little bit, but you know it was okay. So after hot coming in a little bit more you're, basically done like i said, the wet hair was kind of giving, but the dry hair. Oh my gosh dry hair. I love the dry hair so much it's just as you see how i was feeling myself, but in the box they do give you some lashes that i saw at the end and i don't even use lashes, but i mean that was nice.
