Isee Hair Affordable Kinky Curly Wig | Only $100?? | Initial Review + Mini Install

Hi guys welcome back to my channel um today we're going to be doing an initial review on this wig. I got from icy hair. So, as you saw, this wig is from icy hair and is a short curly bob wig. I got it in 16 inches and it is a 4x4 closure just because i wanted something that was low maintenance, um. The wig is only 100.99 and i promise y'all. If you click that link, it should be 100.99 unless they raised it um. So i think this is a steal. I ordered this wig off of amazon and it came pretty fast because they had prime shipping. I think i got it in two days, even though prime hasn't really been priming like that for real um, but i still got in the same amount of time. It came with the wig cap and i think that was it didn't really come with anything else, which i wasn't expecting it to honestly, because most people don't send you a lot of stuff with the wigs anymore nowadays. So i just received the wig and the wig cap and the wig does have um combs in it has four and then it has a little kind. It'S not an elastic band, but something that you pull together in the back for tightness, and i think this wig is pretty small head friendly um. I will look at the dimensions to make sure that it is sized right if you have a larger head, because i have a small head and it's hard for wigs to fit my head right because they're too big and this wig really fits my head. Well, if i tie the two straps in the back and put the combs in and that's saying a lot because i i really didn't think i had a small head until i started buying wigs. So if you have a larger head, i would just measure the dimensions before you buy it, because this is a really good deal and i don't want you to get upset when you get it and you can't fit it on your head. So earlier in the video i was spraying the roots of the wig with got to be glue spray. And i was doing that because, as i'm about to bleach the knots, it helps the bleach to not seep through to the roots of the wig and then get over bleached with the knots. So i sprayed the spray on there and then i blow-dried it. So it could be dry because it really doesn't work if it's still wet and then i mixed my ion brilliance bleach together with my salon care developer and i use dirty developer and i tried to mix it until it was a paste. I think my bleach mixture was still a little bit too wet, but it worked for me the first time around and yes, i'm saying first time around, i did have to bleach the knots twice. I did not do it the same amount of time each time, but the knots lifted pretty decently the first time, but they were still too black for me, so i decided to go in a second time and you'll see. When i put my phone up, i put a timer of 30 minutes for the first round, but i ended up bleaching on the first one for about 40 minutes, because i just didn't like the way the knots looked. So i did it for additional 20 and this is what i got um, but then, because i didn't respray it some of it did get on the roots. So i did have to go in with a little bit of brown like dye and i just put it on the roots like real quick. So i did um put some conditioner on the wig and let it sit for about a night. But my footage got cut out so it definitely it didn't really. I didn't really need to do that, because this hair is really really soft um, but i did it just to make sure because i feel like with curly hair. You need to make sure it's moisture in there, because if you go moisturize your hair, you really need to moisturize wig because they be dry baby. Okay, so i want to do a middle part this time, because i feel like i always do side parts. So i went in and i put in the middle part, and then i went in with this ruby kisses foundation y'all. This is really to go. I got the wrong shade. I should actually use the shade 16. I think the darkest shade is the one that i should use. I tried it. I don't know why i got that super light, shade um, but i just use that for my part, but that ruby kisses they were not online, like i found that out on tic toc. That is really the goat. So if you want something to use on your lace, use that so because i got the wrong color, i had to use my fancy cream bronzer in the color chocolate, and this is really good. I just don't like using my expensive products for my lace, because maybe i need that for my face and well because kissing this five dollars. So i put that on and then i started cutting off the side tabs on the closure, because we don't want those to show um. I still hate that those are on there, but you know you just cut them off real, quick and just make sure that they're, not you, know able to be seen after i do that. I just go in and i clean the area and then i go on with my eben. This spray y'all works better than got to be. It works better than any spray that i've ever used. If you know a better spray, let me know um. It goes on. So fast dry so fast and it just melts like chef kiss. I really recommend doing this and, like i used to do with my got to be, i just make sure that i do three layers just for extra security, because i don't like having to reapply wigs every you know day or so like. I actually want this to stay on if i wrap it every night and put it in my bonnet, so once i'm done drying it and i feel like it's tacky, i just pull up the lace closure and i'm just going to like kind of press it in There, so i can make sure that it's going to be stuck to my forehead and that it melts the way that i want it to. I put my band on to make sure that i could tie my lace down and then i kept it on. While i was detangling and like going through and defining the wig for the one that i got, i will say y'all this wig really gets defined with just mousse, like i really don't like using other products in my um curly units that i buy. I just really like to use the mousse, because i feel like it's enough like it's, not your real curly hair and i'm not about to be putting my as i am in there like you're, not getting the good products um. If it really needs it, then i will but and at the most i'll, probably put some gel in there. But i really like the look, which is spoofs, so i just cut my band on while i was doing this process and i just used water mousse and a little bit of gel if i felt like the curls weren't defined enough so right here, i'm just cutting The lace - and i don't know why i keep trying to be like the people on tick, tock and youtube, who cut the lace after that and glued it down. I definitely made it work, but i prefer to cut the lace off first because i just feel like it melts better and i don't have to do all this extra stuff. So you're just going to see me having to go back in and like just keep cutting lace off, because you know the more lace you leave on there, the more it's going to be giving that lace instead of wet lace. So i just had to make sure that i was like going in carefully and cutting the excess lace, but i also want to make sure that i wasn't cutting off like any hair. Okay guys. Obviously this is not the same day um, but my camera cut out. My last part and it's good, because i actually changed some stuff, so i thought i would didn't want baby hair, but i was like girl, like you, never really do. Baby hair. Oh, i got some hair on me um. I never really do baby hair. So i decided to do it and i feel, like it's cool like. I definitely need to fix this side because it's my first time like really actually doing curly baby hair. But this is what the wig looks like when it's like, fully dried and like. I could really pick this out some more, but this is like the length that i like it at right now, um, you know the lace is definitely not like hd or anything, but it's really workable, like put in the little concealer in the um cream foundation or Whatever that is the ruby kisses like it works fine for me, and i just try to make sure that this melted, because you don't want it lifting and that's when they start looking crazy and people. Looking at you lace and not you when they talk to you so um, i don't know why my camera decided to hate me that day but, like i said it's good, because i did change up the style and do the baby hairs um. I do do like the side like my side, baby hair, sometimes because, like if i took it behind my ear, you might be able to see it, but if you want something like really like natural, easy quick, this is the wig for you, um yeah. I think this is a good deal for only a hundred dollars like. Where can you go wrong with this? I don't know but yeah i just had to come over here on my mac with this. I don't know why they and get the quality of these cameras that good, but you know, i'ma hold on to it, because this reminds me back when i was in middle school, but that's that's not relevant um. I also wanted to mention that this wig, really it really doesn't tangle - that much i've had wigs that really tangle like really really bad. Like um, i can sleep on it like. I could just put my hair in a body like this and wake up the next morning and just fluff it out um. I feel like when most curly wigs i get like the nape gets kind of like tangled a little bit, but i just try to make sure to like kind of separate it. It'S not anything. That'S like crazy and like it sheds a little bit, but it's a curly wig, it's not like. I haven't looked at it. It was like damn like this wig really shut him like it's just for me to. If i'm brushing out like you know, the nape has gotten like a little um i'll expect. You know a little bit of shedding like that's the only thing throughout the whole wig. It really isn't that much shedding, though, like it's going to be some because it's a curly wig like i feel like with curly wigs. You should just expect that um, but it's not like super crazy or anything like it's. It'S manageable um. I think i've technically had this wig on for like two weeks and i deep conditioned it when i first put it on, but i haven't deep conditioned it yet i'll, probably deep condition it this weekend, because i'm gon na like take it off briefly and put on This other wig for another video that i'm doing, but this is gon na, be like my everyday week that i wear to work. So we got ta make sure we take care of her because you know my co-workers have already seen me with this hair, which i don't care because i show them here all the time.
