The Perfect Ginger Hair Color For The Fall | Easy Watercolor Method Ft. Tinashe Hair

Girly pies, it's your favorite girly pie, mitch, santana and welcome back to my channel in today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how i achieve this ginger pumpkin spice, colored hair. This is my first attempt trying to do this, so it will be a little sloppy, but if you want to see how i achieve this look, then just keep watching all right. You guys, let's get straight to the business. Today'S hair was sent to me by tinashe hair on instagram, mrs i love to get on. They actually don't even have any affiliation with each other. It was just so funny, but anyways they sent me 24 inches, but this hair is actually way longer than 24 inches. So thanks y'all, these are the colors you're going to be needing i'm going to be using orange blaze, french cognac and cajun spice and then you're going to need lots of bleach. Well, you won't need too much. I actually had extra packs that i didn't end up using and then you're also gon na need a 40 and a 50 developer, but guys just keep some 40 developer on standby. You'Ll see why later i forgot to mention a very important part of this video, but i'm going to be using the watercolor method. To achieve this. Look so you're going to be needing like a huge tub like what i'm using here, so that you have enough space for the water and the bleach. So the first things first you're going to start setting up your bleach and developer patients due to the amount of bleach that i'm using i'm using like a good, maybe like 30 of bleach in this tub here and i'm mixing it up with the developer. You want it to be watery, unlike the traditional bleaching, when you do it with um like in a regular tub, and you want it to be toothpaste like you want this to be like watery chunky like and we're just gon na go in, and you know mix The bleach and the developer together guys guys guys i highly recommend wearing a face mask when you do this. That literally has nothing to do with covid, but like you're, gon na start inhaling these chemicals, and you might pass out now we're gon na go in with some water, but not too much we're just gon na, like kind of sort of cover up all the bleach And developer, so i see i added too much water, which is why i was a little chunky like when you see chunks of bleach and developer kind of floating around. I think that means you added too much water, so i just went back in with a little more bleach. So once you added all your bleach developer water mix everything together. This should be your final consistency say bye, bye to the black. That'S all i ever do black black black. You know what it's fall. You know the color for fall. Everyone does is ginger and, i always say people with their ginger hair like oh. I want to play well i'm here to play this time. I literally had to throw on the mask because the fumes was just a little too much, so i'm just doing the dipping. The sticky move flip and move i'm dipping and i'm combing. I'M so excited to be doing this because i've i've been saying i'm going to do this and i just have never gotten to it, but this method is way easier like i'm. Just so glad that you know the people in the hair world, not me not people love hair well, but the people in here world they are coming up, creative and easier ways to do this because y'all before this, before watercoloring became a thing, you would actually have To sit down go in and bleach each section go. Oh my gosh. I really hope i don't pass out from these fumes. This is too much. I recommend, when you do this to please wear a mask so yeah you guys it's super easy all you're doing is basically just dipping the wig into the mixture and like combing it through, so that each part of the hair gets a little some. Some, like, i barely have any brain cells left. I don't need this. These chemicals, taking all i have left with it, don't recommend just broad dogging this hair and just grabbing it with your bare hands, but i mean just if you don't have gloves like me. Just touch it real, quick and then rinse it off immediately after doing the dipping, i let it sit for 20 minutes. This is how the hair looks after that, so i'm going to rinse it off. It'S not light enough. I think i might have to beat it again. This is it it's looking pretty dark to be so i don't get it. Did the 50 developer not do anything, oh guys, remember. I told you this is my first time doing this, i'm just going to quickly towel blot it dry and then go back in for another round. Omg yo y'all can't see it, but i think i just accidentally just made the hair ginger on the first attempt. This hair is like kind of orangey. Oh lord, what have i done? Okay, guys we're going to try this again. I am desperate at this point, so i went through my closet and i actually found this, but this there's, like 12 of this left 5 of this left hmm 30 of this left. These are all different brands of 40 developer. Wow guys. I don't think anyone should actually pay attention to this. This is just don't attempt this at home until you see the final product. This is for entertainment purposes only after bleaching, the hair for another round and letting it sit for another 20 minutes in the bleach. This is how it looks after bleaching, it twice wow it looks ginger already. We haven't even added the dye yet, but this looks much better. I was so scared at first because it was just blackish brownish, but yeah. Definitely gon na have to bleach it twice so funny story in the middle of me filming this entire video, i actually had to stop and go to the store to buy a new memory card because i ran out of storage. So i don't have footage of me bleaching it for the second time, but you guys get the picture now we're moving on to the dyeing and you're gon na want to fill up your tub with just water, hot tulta. I heard that helps. I really don't know the science behind that, but yeah you're gon na fill up the tub with hot water. Now we're on to the fun parts we're going to bring out the dyes go ahead and just empty out the entire bottle of the cajun spice and of the french cognac. I kind of wasted my time thinking that i was just going to use half a little bit. No, i ended up using the whole bottle, so just go ahead and use the whole bottle, like i said, of the french cognac and the cajun spice. But then, when we get to the blazing orange or the orange color, we're just going to use like a good 30 of that bottle, so yeah guys, like i said i didn't, use the whole bottle of the orange blades. I used just approximately 30 of the bottle, like you, don't need too much of the orange blaze once we've mixed all the dyes together we're going to go ahead and just like the bleaching process start dipping the hair inside of the mixture we're going to also comb The dye through so that it gets through every part of the hair, do not be shy with the dipping like. I was really scared with it, because i thought that the dye was gon na stain the lace, but for some reason it didn't so that doesn't really matter go ahead and dunk the whole wig in there. You want to make sure the hair is evenly dyed. Once you feel like you've, colored the hair enough and that all hair has evenly been dyed, you can go ahead and rinse it out, but be sure to take your time on this step, because you don't want to leave any dye behind the last step. You have to deep condition: it use the silicone mix y'all. Not only does it smell really really good, it also brings your hair back to leaf a like. This is no joke. If you don't know about the silicone mix, i'm telling you about it today put this in your hair and let it sit for about one to two hours. This is just to make sure the hair is good because, like you know, we did bleach it twice and we did use the developer so yeah. This is how the hair came out, guys it is a reddish, orangish ginger. This is just what we wanted, but guys i'm doing things a little differently. I'M not going to install this hair myself. I went through too much work to try to install this myself and mess it up. I'M gon na have my girl slay by shady on ig. Do it for me so for this last part of the video it's just gon na, be me getting my hair done so just sit back and watch my girl work and fingers crossed we're looking forward to the final product, your head, why is it so um big? Yes, just gon na, not oh my gosh guys, it's really it's giving like. If you had a chance to change your feet, would ya the elastic band has been placed on my head and now we wait for that. Big reveal guys see the lace melted, i'm so happy about that. I told y'all the dye wouldn't matter now, we're just doing finishing touches she's getting the curls in the hair and y'all. This hair can hold a very, very nice curl, despite being bleached twice with 40 and 50 developer and being dyed like look at these bouncy curls y'all, the hair looks bomb and, as she's laying my edges, i'm just trying so hard to act normal, while thinking of All the different ways, i'm about to cut up with this hair once i leave this girl's place voila. This is the finished product. Just look at this y'all look. This is this is scalp. This is my hair. It belongs to me, there's nothing. You can tell me. I am a person of color and i was born a ginger. We exist. This is mine.
