Foreign, hey guys, welcome back to my channel, so today you'll be seeing how i got this look. So this super cute fall, gingery, orangey, look as you'll see in the video. I used two different methods. First, i used the traditional dyeing method that didn't work and it wasn't the proper color and then the second time around. I used the watercolor method, which actually worked very well and very quick. So so in this video you will be able to see how i got this color. So stay tuned, hey guys, so we are going to get started with this beauty forever hair and i'm just going to dip into what's inside. So there is a wig cap included. This little travel kit, that's included as well a set of combs, as well as the 22 inch wig that we are going to be dying, plucking and bleaching. Okay, guys so, as you are going to see on camera, for whatever reason when you get a beauty forever, wig and honestly, i'm not sure if it's all their wigs or if it was just this one. There'S like this mesh padding um on the actual wig portion, where you would normally bleach the knot. So, as you can see in the video, that's exactly what i'm doing is just going ahead and removing that portion so that i could actually access the knot and i'll be honest, i was being a bit rough. Obviously, if i was doing this for someone else, i would be a lot more gentle, but it was my week so i wasn't really tripping for me. The main goal was just accessing the knot so that i could go ahead and get those bleached before i started bleaching the hair itself and, like i said you can see, i'm using scissors a knife, all types of things, but i really my main focus was just Removing that portion so that i could go ahead and start bleaching the knots, because i knew that the process was going to take a bit longer anyway, just because i had a lot to do so, i was just trying to get that removed okay, so it is Now time to bleach the knot, as you can see in this little bowl, i just went ahead and made my paste as you can see at first. For me, it was a bit loose. I'Ve seen a lot of youtubers and watched a lot of youtube videos on bleaching um, so i know that a lot of people suggested it should be thicker than toothpaste. So, as you can see, i'm just adding more of that bleaching powder just so that i can get the correct consistency. So this is me just checking um. You know the thickness of it, the consistency and just making sure that it is where i want it to be okay. So once i got the consistency correct, you can see, i place it on the wig and now it's time to remove it. So i just gently wash it off and, as you can see, i'm using a sprayer to just go ahead and get that bleach off of the knots and the closure area. Okay, so i went ahead and bleached the hair and because i said, there's going to be two methods you guys will see why. So i went ahead and i washed the hair out. I used a bit of conditioner just to um kind of counteract that bleach that i used, but, as you can see, the color is just not right already. It'S still a bit too dark for me to dye it, and on top of that, the dye that i bought was not the correct color. So typically, i like to use adores hair dye and i ended up using the colors cajun spice and cinnamon as you'll see a bit later. But even when i was adding the hair i mean, even when i was adding the color to the hair. I automatically knew like this one. She go ahead and do another method, um, and that method will be the watercolor method with the proper hair dye. So you guys will get to see that as well. Okay, guys, so here is the second time around. This is me just mixing up my bleach in this clip you'll get to see me re-bleach, the hair um. Obviously i already dyed the knot, so i didn't have to worry about that, but you will get to see me re-bleach the hair. If you can tell i'm not sure how well it picks up on camera, but in real life the hair was rated, so i had to re-bleach it to strip it down so that i could dye it. The proper color and, like i said in this clip you will get to see all of that so enjoy please. So so, please, okay! So once i finish bleaching and washing the hair out, i went ahead and did the watercolor method. So, as you can see, i'm just pouring the first batch of dye in and i actually went ahead and used cajun spice first just to go ahead and make it as orange as i possibly could, because that was the main color. I wanted it to be ginger, but not like a super duper dark, ginger, just more of a lighter ginger. So here you can see me just blending all of that together and getting it mixed into the water. So throughout this video another thing you'll see me do is a paper towel test because, like i said, i had a specific color in mind and another youtuber suggested doing this so that you could see where the color was kind of settling and as you can see It was quite orange, so the next thing i'm going to do is go ahead and mix in some of that cinnamon color, just so that it can darken it up a bit. So, after adding more of that, cinnamon color in you'll be able to see it did make the water a bit darker and again, i'm just using that paper towel to test the color okay. So once i got the color to where i wanted it, i went ahead and submerged the wig into the water. I just used the comb to kind of push it down so that it can really saturate the strands and, as you'll see i'm going to be moving. It around and just kind of twisting it and just making sure it's coating, the hair, properly okay. So another thing that i did was go ahead and add more dye, so occasionally i would add more of one or the other color. Just as i watched the wig change, colors so you'll get to see me do that as well. I think that that was kind of like the one thing that really helped was that i was able to adjust the color a lot with the water coloring. Whereas with that other dye that i previously used, as you guys saw it just changed your red, and that was about it, so i really do prefer this method so just to really saturate the hair. Again, i used my hands to just massage it. In one thing i will definitely suggest is wear some gloves because they did change my acrylics to a different color, so yeah just be aware of that. Okay, so the last thing i did was go ahead and strain any excess water. Just before i washed and blow dried it as you'll get to see in some of the pictures, i did style it and go about doing all of that, but all in all i will say that i prefer this method a lot more than the traditional method. So as always, thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you guys enjoyed this look. I hope it's easy for you to recreate and if you recreate make sure you tag me on instagram or twitter, wherever you tend to post it and as always, make sure you like comment, share and subscribe for more content, bye, guys,
