You Can’T Tell Its Fake Hair. Versatile Micro Links On Short Curly Hair, Looks Natural || Ywigs Hair

Hey guys, so this is my model's real hair. She has a shorter type 3 curly hair and we're going to make it look longer by adding some micro links. Extension that blends perfectly with her curl pattern and also to make her hair look nice and fuller. The extensions i'm going to be using today is from y wigs from y wigs.com, and this is their curly micro links extension. I have used their micro links here for 4c here. I recently did that video, but today we're going to be using their curly bundles. For these micro links, so i'm going to be using two bundles of 20 and 22 inches. This is what the curls look like. I went ahead to co-wash it as you can see it's nice and wet right now. The curls are so so pretty after co-washing. I added my shea butter and my cantu silk serum just to moisturize it before it air dries and before i install it. So this is the curly hair. When it's air dried, as you can see it kind of matches, my model's hair and the curls it's going to blend with her hair, so her hair is kind of short, so we're going to do our best to blend it. You want to make sure the hair you're using blends with your hair for the micro links. So what i'm doing right now is just leaving some hair out around the perimeter and i'm also going to leave hair out in the middle for middle part. And then i'm going to show you how i install the micro links so just pay attention. So the good thing about why wigs extension is that their micro links, hair is already pre-looped, as you can see, the whites loop thing on top and i can already tell that this hair is going to blend perfectly with my models hair. So i'm going to make small parts and you're just going to see how the loop is going to make this process easy to install. So if you're new to micro links and you've never seen someone install it just pay attention and see how i do it. Okay, just to explain what you just saw: you're gon na take a small part and you're gon na pass the natural hair through the loop and then you're gon na pass that through the bead, okay and then you're gon na push the bead up close to the Scalp, but not too close because you don't want it to be too close and too tight. Okay, you're gon na take a plier. This plier i'm using right now and just now press down the bead until it's nice and firm and that's basically it so you want to be able to move the hair around. So there is no like tension or any kind of pain on your model or your client's hair, so make sure the parts that you are making are very, very small, because the bead is small, so they are able to pass through. So i have done about three rows right now of the micro length extension one two three as you can see, so i'm going to leave some of her natural hair out in between and i'm just going to show you how i blend it really quickly. So you guys can see that it actually is going to blend with her natural hair, even though her hair is short so we're more than halfway done um, she could wear the micro links here quote like in a co-washed way or in afro okay, so she could Literally, just like comb, her hair into the curly hair to get an afro look, but today we're going for like a more um co-washed. Look like you would co-wash your your curly hair to define the curls and all that stuff. So that's the look we're going for today and you're going to see how i basically just like blend all her hair into the curly hair um foreign uh, uh. Ah um. I know you probably have questions on how to maintain the micro links hair when you have them on so the duration of how long you should wear the micro links, i would say, is five weeks and you could wash your hair while you have them on. As you normally would, every week or every two weeks and when you're washing it the same way, i am doing everything like section by section. Is how you're going to wash your hair section by section and before you go to bed. Since this is curly hair, or even if you're doing like the 4c hair um texture for the micro links, you basically um, i would suggest you should like do two strand twists in sections and then put a bonnet on and yeah. So basically just treat it like. You would treat your hair and um for the take down. I didn't include how to take them down in this video, but in the first micro links, video i did with the 40 hair. I showed how to take it down. I also did a live video as well on how to take it down, so i'm going to leave all those videos in the description box so make sure you go check them out. So i just put some gel some eco gel on her edges and now i'm just going to diffuse the curl with my diffuser. It looks just like her hair and it just blends so perfectly so, once again, this hair is from y wigs hair. They have different hair textures from micro links for type 3 type 4 hair.
