Welcome back to life and hair. Finally, juno has arrived and i am going to get it out of its box and take a look. That'S better just trying to get my hair relatively flat um. So, as i was saying about the kitten totally out of order pooing in people's beds, including on top of me when i was in bed so now, i've only got little penny she's much happier, i'm much happier and from what i hear the other cat who was Called prudence is also much happier, so that's the latest about the naughty kittens i received. My next paula young wig in the post, it's um juno and here she is in medium orbit. Now, let's get you a really good idea about this color. So, just looking at the color, it's actually color 30. medium auburn. When i look at this color, i do see some light and darker auburn strands stranded all through there's quite a lot of shedding actually on this wig initially. But so i don't know if you can see that, probably you can't yes, so this is the color medium auburn. If we flip her over, we can see that it's got a monofilament crown there. Now that's a good two and a half centimeters across there that monofilament closed all around it, a lovely soft strip that sits just where your hairline starts. It'S got nice soft ear tabs with velcro tightening straps the back. We do have an extended nape, also velvety soft. Just by feeling around with my hand, there's nothing particularly troubling in this cap, so the monofilament crown you can't really see much of the scalp with this monofilament crown. Overall, it's obviously not got a parting where you can visibly see the scalp. The fringe starts from quite far back. Let me cut these tags off. The tag says: juno color, 30 capsize a which actually is average and looking at the measurements for juno length, six and a half inches front and top 17 inches crown 14 and a half inches sides and upper back nine inches at the nape. Apparently, according to this catalog, it comes in 21 colors, all paula young's preferred hues and they actually show you a color chart. So it was on offer for 119 pounds in this catalogue and i often listen to my lovely american viewers, my lovely american viewers, who are often telling me about all the amazing sales they have and how inexpensive their wigs are. And yes, i do get incredibly envious about it, so i have my john renault home at the ready, let's put tuna on and see what i think i want to say that i have never had a style like this. Not even was when my i was younger and my hair was long and lustrous. I never had a thick enough fringe really to to wear a heavy bang like that, and my hair was never straight. It was always very, very curly and pulling her down so that she's hugging my head. Well, let's move you a little alright, so here we go here is juno. We'Ve got a feathery fringe. That starts quite far back about back here now. The crown of my head is here, and the fringe starts about an inch in front of that, and actually, funnily enough, when i press down on the top of this wig there's a i believe, it's that monofilament that's kind of popping. I can pop it so here we go. Let'S give her a comb through i'm going to move the camera a little so that you can see the the bottom of the wig there. We go also feathered at the bottom. What do you think of the color? It'S very unusual for me: it's actually quite red. I feel i don't feel there is much really that i can do with the fringes pretty much a straightforward heavy feathered fringe. Let'S pull a little bit of my hair out now, with every style of hair, with every hairstyle, which has its own particular shape. Some styles, for example my giselle or mila, or the ashley, which is another paula young wig. Those tend to draw my face up somewhat. Rather than drag everything down now, because this style is straight down - it's not very wide um, the the bang is quite heavy and also has got this uh. It'S got this effect of kind of drawing my face down. I feel that um there's a lot of focus on my jowly uh parts of my jawline and a little bit of my neck um. Ever since i had weight loss surgery on the 25th of september this year, i have been losing um weight and sort of bulk out of my face and my neck and i've really been able to see the difference so much in this area. Now before, when my neck was fuller, i had rolls and folds and obviously a double chin, but i feel that, as that's kind of melted away, it's deflated that whole area and the skin has sort of settled down somewhat now, if, if in the future that improves It'S going to be great, but i feel that this particular style with this with its sort of elongating effects, draws attention to all of this. All of these sort of jolly parts, um, there's not really much that you can do with this style. I actually bought this style to wear on christmas day. I wanted something completely different. Gosh i've got all this curly curly hair here i'll just tuck it up tuck it behind my ears, um just for something totally different, but if i feel that it's not really that flattering, i'm not going to really want to wear it. The one thing i will say is the fibers are amazing: i'm telling you honestly they're amazing they are the it's. It'S got the most lifelike texture and feel of fiber that i have felt in any wig. If um, i was with somebody and for some reason, touched their hair, i would never imagine that it was fake, synthetic essentially plastic, let's face it um. The denier of this is a good medium denier. There'S really not much shine i'll put my head forward, so you can have a look at the top. I just want to check that i'm still in the right place, obviously no route and i do love a root. I actually wonder i've got some rooting powder, instant root, concealer powder, it comes with a retractable brush like that when you tip it up, the actual powder is in here you tip it up. The powder goes into the brush and then you sort of brush the hairs on, and i wonder what effect actually this might have on this, but i think that media medium orbit is is too dark. This root powder is not not really dark enough. I would have to go for something much darker, almost um, very dark brown, almost a black, and i don't really know whether it's worth it whether the effect is going to be worth the effort yeah. So if you fluff up this wig a little there's, absolutely no permatease in this - that there is a little bit around the top where the closed cap is here just a little bit to lift the fringe, i think to give the fringe a little bit more body. There'S nothing around the back of the crown or the sides at all, but even so giving the fringe a little bit of a lift makes a difference. Um. This is the sort of wig that i must stop. Saying wig. You know it's a very unflattering description. It'S hair: this is the sort of hair or hairstyle, where i suppose, as you wear it, it might get a little bit tussled tousled at the sides and at the back, because you know on christmas day we're all going to be eating and maybe having a little Bit of wine, but very little wine, because really as a vertical sleeve, doesn't really lend itself very well to drinking now, let's see how it tucks so low density. Guys! Look at this. You know often when i'm out and about in my growing up years or currently - and i see these lucky women with their you know - lovely straight glossy, hair and they've got it tucked like that. It just looks: it's got such a calming and serene effect on their face. Just makes everything so manageable. Neat tidy. I really like that. I mean tucking. This uh style is amazing. Do you know the more i look at this style and i've got my i've got my mirror here, the more i look at it, the more. I really love this color on me. This color is pretty much the color of my eyes. I'Ve got ready brown eyes um. Let'S get some clips out and see what we can do. I have no idea how this is going to work or if it's going to work. Okay, so let's just do a little sort of clip like that and the same on the other side. Of course, i'm integrating my hair into this it. You know it's pretty seamless, it's slightly, obviously a different color, but i think that the root powder is very widely available on amazon in all sorts of different shades this side. So this is what this looks like. If you put both sides up, let's try a little higher up. You see the coverage is pretty good. Half a centimeter above my ear. Really. The bottom of the ear tab is just where my finger is here. So all of this bio hair can actually be integrated, and you know the bio hair that can be integrated goes right up into the temple and then it's kind of just disguised and camouflaged a little. It'S got a good softening effect. Let'S try the other side just put you up a bit. It feels so real this juno and you know well done to paula young for that really really good uh. When i put my hair down from having been up, it gives it a little bit more movement, which is actually quite natural, looking quite glamorous um. What else can i try with this? I tell you what i want to try this and i don't even know if it's going to work so this it's um a clip, a bayonet clip it has a velvet and lace bow attached to that clip and attached to the lower end of the clip. Is a pouch - and this is very much a 1940s style of hair clip, i'm going to see whether i can actually do if i can actually wear that so bear with me. It has to be put into a low ponytail, which is absolutely perfect for wig wearers, because unless you've got lace, all around your wig, a low ponytail is pretty much the only thing you're going to get away with and then i'm going to get hold of the Rest of the hair and coax it inside the pouch so that it fills the pouch nicely. Okay, so tuck it behind my ear there, it's a little bit messy but it'll, give you a good idea if you were wearing something that was that showed a little bit more of your neck and shoulders or a 1940 style, something or just something. You know a bit dressy, so i don't think that i don't believe that you can see much of anything that will give the game away here at the sides where the nape of the wig is because this is all my hair and um. It'S just another added. Look that you can apply to the longer styles, you know fascinating, i mean you know if i was going out to dinner or christmas day or or something like a a birthday do or even a wedding or something, and i was wearing a black velvet dress, say Or a red velvet dress something like that. I would definitely have this in my hair and i wouldn't feel insecure about it. It doesn't feel like it's pulling the hair down and very easy to take off again so pulling it back from the front. Let'S see what the effect is here and how much of this permatease you can see, i can see some wefting or some wig cap quite clearly there, so it's not something that i'd be very keen on doing yeah. That'S not really going to work as far as far as getting the front up now, any kind of pulling it away from the face isn't working for me at the moment, always try and be as gentle as possible when i'm combing these styles out, it's got lovely Feathered ends extremely realistic. I wish i had one of those alice burns. I think i found one in my drawer the other day, but because i was decluttering, probably chucked it out. Let me know in the comments what you think of this style. The first time i put her on, i put a photograph graph up on instagram and i really was not happy with her. Maybe it was because i didn't have any makeup on at the time and my lips look pale and i just felt that it was really dragging all the flesh on my face down. But now that i've put this lovely sweet, copper color, which i adore. It'S got a lifting effect and i think it's counter balancing things quite well when you receive a new style that you've never had in your youth and never seen yourself in. It really does take time to get used to the new look and you need to sort of wear, wear the style around the house to see what you actually think it does take time. But let me know what you think of this style. Um honest opinions would be very helpful because i was planning on wearing this style on christmas day, but i'm not sure because i've got some lots of other lovely styles, which i i'm very comfortable and familiar with. So let me know you

Kit kat: What a Beautiful wig! It looks stunning on you! I can’t wait to get my Paula Young wigs !

Donna Roberts: I think it looks lovely on you and I hope that you wore it on Christmas Day! When you fluffed up the bangs and sides a bit, it looked really good. Blessings to you and good luck with your recovery from your surgery. ❤️

Norma Lopez: I think it's beautiful on you! Gorgeous color too! Compliments your skin color.

Autumn Angel: Beautiful colour on you!! I like the fringe....if you ever want to swap or sell any pieces like this, let me know! Xx

Nan Michelle Glidden: I was going to watch Dr Zhivago tonight but ended up totally enjoying 2 of your videos.! Delightful honest and informative. I love all the wigs Ive bought from Paula over the past 8 years. I wanted to say that Juno in that color looks beautiful on you. Perhaps more than you know.! It brings your entire face alive. Much more so than a quieter color. As you said, a totally new style /color can keep you wondering for awhile. But this one is youthful, always will be a classic style just as it is. I do not think it draws your face down, but lights it up. The colorful lipstick really works.i study clothing and purples and bronzes and dark blue clothing complement that hair color.well Congratulations on your weight loss. Happy new year. Keep wearing that wig .it looks wonderful. . lm looking forward to your future videos

S.A. Kenyon: I love it. I live near the PY outlet. I Have been eyeing Juno for some time. I just wasn’t sure about the top of the wig. I like that she is not too bulky on the top. The color looks so natural on you. I don’t think it drags your face down at all, but it is a personal preference. PY fibers are great and durable. I hope you wear her!

Kathleen Manley: Thank you for your review. I'm also in a dilemma about this girl. I've always had long hair until I started the process of shortening my hair during a color grow out. But Juno is flat, and when I tried to style I was unable to keep the wig cap from showing. I'll continue to work with her and we will see. But thanks for your review. PS I have white hair at a younger age and so I wonder that a shaded or more colorful wig is better and is good for you. When you let it drape over you shoulder and keeping it fluffy away from your face is good. I'm encouraged to do the same. Merry belated Christmas.

Sharon Lynn: I'm a new subscriber. I very much like this color on you. I too am fair & brown eyed & have been thinking about a Auburn shade. You have convinced me to go for it.

nostalgic_blue: I love the color, so pretty. I think it is flattering on you.

Tux Nog: Looks good and natural. Color is perfect .

Michelle Baker: She looks very very pretty on you! The color is gorgeous. It exudes a different vibe than the wavier pieces you’ve worn. It’s a sexier look for sure! I like your styling options you came up with. You have a good eye for making ‘hair’ look like your own. What did you hubbie say about this one?

Mary Ed: Thanks for this great video. It's really beautiful on you. The only problem is the bangs are too flat. Have u ever used a hair roller (without any heat) to give those bangs a little bit more volume?

Mary Richard: I think it looks great!

Elle LaTorre: I think it looks great on you. Have you watched Christine McGraw video "Styling a WIG: Adding HEIGHT to the crown" she shows how to fill the "empty space/bump" with batting. Thanks for this video, I have been thinking of getting the Juno.

Norma Lopez: You look younger too! You look very pretty! I'm ordering a Juno.

Chris Heinz: You look fabulous in the Juno auburn!

Teresa Messenger: Pretty wig. Pretty lady. I am a fan of wigs with bangs ( my forehead is cro-magnom). I like seeing someone more my age in wigs. I would not know this was a wig on you! Your neck is way nice. You are a goddess

Kit kat: As women we are often critical of ourselves but I wanted to let you know that older women are just so beautiful! Wear your wigs, embrace your beautiful face because you are a gorgeous woman. I’ve been a nurse for 40 years and I love all of my lady friends who are all in their 50’s and 60’s some in their 70’s who are just so beautiful inside and out. The wigs of today just enhance our beauty. Remember God got perfection on his second creation which was Us! My husband who is younger than myself said that older women are the most beautiful and talented! I agree !

MoodyGirl Beauty: You have the most soothing voice! Lobe Paula Young wigs!! This one is lovely!

lil poohbear: pretty!

Liza Rosa: It’s scarey adding roots. It looks great without roots. You don’t want to mess it up. I’ve messed up wigs and had to throw them away. Don’t do anything to it. It’s perfect already. It looks real!

TDGarden: I think it looks beautiful on you, and the things you are calling attention to are not an issue. Don't even notice.

Look Up and Marvel: Hello again! I'm not rearelating to what you are saying about this wig. It's beautiful on you. While watching I focus on your eyes because suddenly they've become larger and wider. You are being wayyy too critical, like we all can be about ourselves. I'd love to see you wearing it now in June of 2021 !!! I really love how you look with this colour.

Liza Rosa: I looks spectacular on you and real.

Lainey: Hi where do u order your paula youngs wigs from?

Katrina Wylie: It takes a good 10 to 15 years away.

Mary Sexton: I think it makes your eyes the focus. I looks very pretty on you.

Clara: I think Juno is great don't forget she will need shaking and getting the fibres up and off the cap to look looser on the top. Do you watch Jill Lynn channel? She's very helpful. But you honestly look pretty and youthful in Juno. It's not easy to get used to a new style/colour
