I only rinsed with conditioner after each process and would suggest that after the toning to use luke warm/cool water to prevent washing out too much toner.

The conditioner I used was the Ren Pure Thickening Biotin & Collagen conditioner from Target for $6.99. It works very well for me so I thought I would recommend it!

I will have an aftercare video for maintaining and healing chemically treated blonde hair.

Oh yeah, I'm not certified but my hair hasn't been natural since 2011. (That's what I meant to say in the video.)

Thank you guys for watching!

I just had to try so hard to get this freaking camera system. The way it is you're being held up by hair ties alright. Moving on today, we are here to turn this dark auburn red hair into platinum blonde or, like a light, pale blonde, we'll see what happens. Let'S just dive right in I'm, going to be using color fixed by one and only it's color strip for your hair. That has argan oil infused into it, since I'm gon na be bleaching, especially with 40y developer. This is much more gentle than using Color Oops. That is very drying to your hair, so this will help not be so damaging and dry. Before I get started. I just want you to know: I am NOT a professional, but I've been dyeing my hair since 2012, so hopefully that I have something to show for it. I have my magic hair dyeing kit under my sink just a glass pyrex bowl, because you can just go ahead and put everything you need into the bowl for one use. Instead of doing two uses worth separately. I also have a whisk that I took from a kitchen mixer that we never use. I also have these gloves from Sally Beauty Supply every product that we're gon na be using for this method today is from Sally Beauty Supply. I spent about $ 75, but I also have the Sally membership. That saves you a pretty good amount of money. It'S only $ 5 a year highly recommend if you dye your hair a lot or if you just go to get beauty supplies a lot. Please pardon how wack my hair looks right now. It'S been up in a bun for the past two days. I just wanted to show you guys the length of my hair, it's about at my collarbones for the amount of product that I'm going to be using today. You can adjust depending on how long your hair is, so it may be more expensive if your hair is pretty long. Sorry, so I'm going to open the color fix. I said I'm gon na be using two containers. There are three steps involved in color fix. The first two are the only steps that I'm going to be using. The first step is the color reducer, and the second step is the conditioning catalyst. The third step is processing lotion, which I'm not gon na use, because I'm pretty sure that this helps to stop the color stripping from happening if your hair is getting too light, but trying to go blonde, so that's going in the trash can so I'm gon na Go ahead and put both of these products fully into the bowl and times that by 2, since I'm doing both boxes step number one, this stuff stinks really bad. So, if you're having guests over in the next couple days, you might want to like light some candles and second box now that both bottles of both boxes are in the bowl, I'm going to mix them with the whisk. So I'm gon na go ahead and get my gloves on and I'm just going to apply it first on all of the places that are super pigmented. So I'm gon na go ahead and turn off the camera, and I will see you guys when my head is fully coated. Okay, so for every step that I do, I'm going to follow with only conditioner you're. Okay, if you use warm water for warm or hot water for this process and the bleaching afterwards, when you take a shower, but after the toning, you might want to use cooler water. This conditioner works amazing. For me, it literally has saved my hair. It'S the red, pure plant-based Beauty, biotin and callaghan thickening and strengthening conditioner. That'S a mouthful. I also have the shampoo in there, but obviously we're not using shampoo right now. So I don't really need to show you anyways, but it really smooths your hair, I'm just going to wash my hair with this warm water after 25 minutes I'll, see you when my hair is dry after I take my shower voila we're at a good place to Bleach, let me tell ya this: is the lightest I've ever my hair after color fix we're in a good spot? I will say the red that I had was a semi-permanent. It was the sunset orange by arctic fox, but I swear. I'Ve never been disappointed with color fix or color oops, wouldn't taking color out of here. As long as you have bleached it before. Usually a lot of color will come out, I'm very happy that it worked out that way. I used mostly cold air when blow-drying. For this stubborn ends, I did use slightly warm air. I suggest, if you are doing it on your scalp, to do cool before you bleach, because if you have a very irritated hot scalp before you bleach when you bleach, your scalp will feel like it's on fire and it will itch uncontrollably it's going to itch already. But after you use really hot air with a blow dryer, it's it's the worst just thought I'd give you the heads up so now I'm about to do the bleaching first things. First, I'm gon na use the bleach, which is the prison lights blue tinted bleach by salon care. The violet only goes for shades lighter. This goes five max. I will say to be honest, this makes a big difference. The violet one is more like a toned-down. Bleaching version of this, this is like extreme. You can use it on or off the scalp. So a good idea would be starting with my undercut since it's the natural brown. This is a resealable bag which is awesome. I usually get the tubs, but they didn't have the tubs at this Sally Beauty that I went to so a bag will do before I get started with that. I want to show you the developer and a couple of other things that I'm gon na be putting in my bleach mixture. This is the 40 volume Salon care developer. A lot of you are gon na, say: 40 volume is way too much, but my hair is pretty thick, so it's kind of necessary when I use 30 volume. My hair did not get as bond as I wanted, and that's cost me to over process it and do again and not the one of the video that I showed, but this was not in a video. It didn't really get a happy result now. This I think I might have messed up at Sally beauty, but at the end we will see if this works fine. I got the ion color brilliance, absolute perfection, booster step, one. The part that I failed with is getting the second step, but I think it's fine, because the second step is more like a color, sealer kind of thing. I think we'll be okay with just using that, since we're not dyeing it with a color back when I did my dark brown, a silver hair, video, the stylist who was actually a stylist previous to her Sally Beauty job. She told me to put half of this in the bleach and half of it in the toner mixture. So that's what I'm gon na do. Basically, it's just gon na keep my hair from breaking more than it would without that. Alright, let's get started. Hopefully, there's a scoop in this one like there usually is: oh I'll, give you my scoop for my other top of bleach. I just happened to be lucky enough to find my scoop from my other tub of prism, Lites bleach, which is a violet one and I'm not using it. Therefore, I would suggest actually buying the tub if you don't already have one. So it says on the back that the ratio is one scoop of bleach two scoops of developer. Is your ratio so make, however much you need for your hair length and you're good to go, but I'm gon na do three scoops of the bleach highly advise you not to forget how many scoops you've done three scoops of bleach six scoops of developer? Now I'm gon na get the perfection booster. Basically, on the box, it says that helps, restore moisture, reduce breakage and prevent dryness during chemical services yeah there we go that's half time to mix it now. That, ladies and gentlemen, is an ideal, no Klump consistency, and this is gon na sound crazy, but for some reason my undercut is super stubborn. It takes forever to lighten compared to the rest of my hair undercut check. This is really potent next place. I'M gon na go is in here because this part is pretty stubborn too. I will say the place that I struggle the most to get lightened, as most people do is right after the roots, I'll also get that first, alright, folks, I think I'm gon na turn off the camera um and I'm just gon na focus cuz. I don't want to over process my hair I'll, see you when my head is covered in Bleach. No turn you off with my nose. Oh, I can't reach whoa that took forever. My hair is short, but I have a lot of it. So my whole head is covered in bleach, probably going to only wait like 10 more minutes. Maybe this side is supersaturated and I don't want to over process it. I'M just gon na wait till this side is caught up to the other side and then I'm going to go, take a shower and use lots and lots and lots of conditioner 40 volume is very strong. But if you have really thin hair, I wouldn't suggest using 40 volume, maybe 30 or lower it turned out pretty damn bright and also pretty damn damaging after I washed it. It was very elasticy and stuff like that. Go figure because I used 40 volume for all those people who want to nitpick in the comments yeah. I know I used 4d volume. A I've came back from this before and I'm gon na. Do it again, it's been day and I've just let it chill out. Cuz, I don't want it to fall out. Okay, so I'm gon na go ahead and do the toning after I do this. You guys, I'm just gon na, have to revive my hair for a little while I'm gon na go ahead and use both boxes of the color charm right now and put them both into the glass bowl. I think this is stronger than the bleach in terms of scent now, I'm gon na use the blue measuring Bowl to put the developers in since the toner is 1.4 ounces each for each bottle. You'Re gon na do two point: eight ounces of the color charm developer. This is the 20 volume, so I'm gon na go a little under the third line and do that again since I'm bad at quick math. No, I'm not right! Now, I'm going to add the rest of this absolute perfection, booster and last but not least, I'm gon na add the red and gold corrector plus packet. It'S basically just very concentrated purple. That will help tone now that everything is mixing. I'M high off of all the fumes it's time to get started, and I don't think it really matters where you apply first with this stuff as long as you get it nice and evenly spread, which won't be hard. This consistency is very easy to spread. Everything is nice and in there I'm gon na leave it for like 30 minutes. Then I'm gon na take a shower with lukewarm, /, cool water and I'm going to just use conditioner again, it turned out exactly how I wanted it to not completely okay. Let'S get into this really quick, so as I was editing the video, I noticed that my last clip was super dry and damaged hair mystic right now. Excuse me, I just wanted to clarify that I actually found the best routine for my hair. It is so healthy right now so shiny and smooth, and I can't even believe that I bleached it just like two weeks ago and it's already like really healthy. This is a basically advertisement for my next video. If you guys want me to do a video about how I heal my hair or like make it tamable, I would be glad to show you guys. I just wanted to show you that this is. That was not the end result. This is the end. Result, nice and soft and shiny

Marilyn Riley: OMG I did exactly as u said and for the first time ever I have platinum blonde hair no brassy. Yellow tones it's beautiful and still alive too! I went from dark Auburn (dyed hair) to platinum yo! Amazing thank you so much the biggest difference was when u suggested oops! I've tried two times previously to get this blonde but just give up. Ur a blessing dear girl!

Hailey Cannon: omg you're the only one who actually SHUTS UP ENOUGH and stays on focus XD so thank you. Your video is very helpful

Erin K: I've watched a few of your bleaching videos and you always get so lucky with everything working out pretty much how you wanted it to lol! I used to have black hair from box dye and I'm currently on month 3 of trying to get to blonde at home. I've done like literally 10 color removers (they never lighten my hair as much as it does for other people), 2 bleach baths, and I probably have like another bleach bath or 2 to go before I can actually do a full bleach, and even then I feel like I'm gonna need to bleach it twice. My hair just won't lift. It's such a struggle for me haha. Your hair looks great

karina’sleftknee: This was so helpful! My hair is literally that color and the description box really helped!

Lunà Camrosé: Thank you for this video. I have naturally auburn hair and I’ve been wanting to go white blonde for a while. I appreciate the hope you’ve given me for the future of my hair:,)

Mistellesonn: I have been wanting to bleach my hair to blond and have finally decided to do so. I had been watching various videos on how to do that at home, and I kept stumbling across your videos! They are great and I think they are the reason why I am finally taking the plunge and trying it :)

No Thanks: Your videos are so informative, you're the reason why I've been able to dye and bleach my hair but still maintain healthy-ish hair. Thank you! :)

Marlen Rios: You make me want to dye my hair blonde lol

Teagan Milburn: Girl you're perfect for everything I need.

jazzy sully: Yes!!! We want to see that hair care routine girl!!

Cotton Tail: ugh i love your "going blonde" videos! i just bleached my hair 3 times, its finally like a bright yellow but after the 3rd time i bleached it, it was super gummy, elasticy so i didnt tone it right after because i was scared lol. i was wondering if it was okay to tone after a few days after bleaching and remembered your videos! im going to finally tone my hair tonight and will start reviving it!

Jasmine Guerra: !! Thanks for this video! I just color striped my hair with color oops. Which did a good job but it’s not light enough for my liking , watching your video helped a lot!

Lpg 8: You got lucky because the best part of your routine was the ION BOOSTER. This thing is amazing at protecting your hair, they say it's a dupe for Olaplex, but I think it works even better. Plus, you covered the rough hair/cuticle with a toner, that's what is making your hair feel soft and healthy. But, a month or so from now, your hair will begin to feel dry and damaged and it will be because the toner/color has worn off. Do an Ion Clear Color/Gloss to maintain that softness.

Haysanna Cartwright: I just bought the stuff off of my Sally’s App! I can’t wait to do it! Your awesome thank you for the help!

Shannon: At first I thought no blonde isn’t gonna work on her but it turned out freaking gorgeous! I’ve just done a colour b4, omg so much effort but worth it!

Vanessa Couto: I used L'oreal hair colour remover on my jet black hair and I realized it was basically bleach lol but it lifted to like a dark/light orange and its the lightest I have ever been in years just by doing 1 step lol I'm about to bleach it soon and hopefully I get super light because I really don't want to have to bleach another time since I know toner won't work if its not light enough! Cross my fingers! I love your result.

Kenya: girl i came here of Brad Mondo and i just came here to say you’re HAIR TURNED OUT AMAZINGGGG OMG

AmyJacqueline G.: 2 tips for next time... but a color brush for even application& get your ends trimmed. It will make a huge difference. Usually our ends( that are very old) are extremely damaged despite great conditioner.

Harry burnett: Your hair looks great both before and after

Victoria Craig: Going blonde soon so I'm excited for this Thank you for loading this video

Michael Woodward: Wow, looks incredible!

God’s Mercy77: That was an amazing video you did a wonderful job and you are so absolutely adorable!

Donna Winter: I used a similar product called Colour B4, yesterday. After watching your video, I'm now wondering if I shouldn't have bother with the "buffer" stage as it's made my hair go from blonde to pinky/peach (I was dark purple, over dark blue, over magenta, over blonde).

Lisa Gorog: Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! I am rushing up to Sally Beauty now :) This is EXACTLY what I needed :)

Shanice Hunt: Going blonde in a few weeks because I watched this lol

Caroline Boves: I was watching Guy Tang the other day (one of his older videos) where he used a Color Remover on camera on himself and he explained the use of the third bottle a little different than you, it made sense to me so i figure (since we are all HAIRBESTIES!!) that i would share this with you since you share and help us so much. Well, in your case it definitely makes no sense to use bottle 3 since you are bleaching afterwards, but if you are going to apply a regular dye it is recommended to use the number 3 to check if you still got dye left in your hair. If you apply it after doing the first process with 1 and 2 and the color comes back, then it means you would have to repeat the first part (1 and 2) again to remove the remaining dye (could repeat no more than 2 or 3 times depending on the integrity of the hair). That way when you apply the new dye you wont get a surprise with your old color coming back out of the blue!! It makes sense right?Oh! another thing... it's kinda good you got a 40 vol cause that Ion Olaplex dupe I read on the Sally's online store that it drops you a step on the volume so it's like using 30 vol..

piper creighton: Just me, or are her eyes realllly pretty?

Amy: P.s. you are really lucky to have pale skin and look sooooo good with blonde hair! Jerkmuffin! ❤

Lana Gibson: I’m going back to my blonde on Wednesday and honestly this red is gonna be hard to get out of my hair

Maria Theotokatoy: Oh my god! My hair after one session turned out like your hair( reddish brown ) so now I know it might turn out like yours( orange-blonde )in my second session and thankfully it turns out platinum blonde in my third session

ema dauchi: I love how the blonde turned out.

Angela Harris: My hair is your color and I'm wanting to go light just like you are!!

Asefeh Hasani: Hi, Thanks for your nice and comprehencive videos. I learned a lot. My question is that can I omiit the bleaching step if I am not eagor to light my hair too much? After removing color with colorfix, can I directry color my hair with another color whitout bleaching?

Mary Denise: I thought your hair looked beautiful when it was auburn. I just did my hair blonde after having auburn hair for decades. Skin tone cannot be ruled out, what do you think?

Lauren: I just took a picture of all the products. I cant believe how simple you made this look, I have grey hair which is dyed dark brown and then I bleached it, and not the way you did LOL! the result was a little orangey, so I went in and bought a box of auburn and covered it, So now I have reddish brown hair again. Then I found your video! so if I apply the above steps will it help remove the color, I just want to go silver grey, I also saw your dark brown to silvr but here the color is auburny brown to silver, any suggestions, please, my hair is thick too also you are doing a great job, I dont think I need to go to a hair salon.

Lil Honey's World: Do you think I could obtain the same/similar results when starting with permanent dye in my hair vs your semi-permanent?

Diana Bananaa: You’re awesome! Loveeee ur videos!! Alsooooo...Please don’t use a metal whisk in hair products!!! It can mess things up!

Kelli Cutright: I love how your hair turned out. I recently had a color disaster and am trying to get back to blonde from red. I am following your instructions and the top of my hair pulled the orange color but the bottom of my hair is green after the color remover!! Now what?!? Help me please!!

infinitealphabet: That red is sooo pretty I'm wondering what you used if you remember or have advice. My hair is lightened but not platinum. I know you are doing the opposite in this vid but that red is exactly what I want

Grinn: i mean, i can't do anything with my hair at the moment and i'm probably going to get it done at a salon but the videos are entertaining so i watch anyway.

Plastic Replica: you did really well!! just a little professional advice , if you can find a silicone wrapped whisk use that instead something the metal will act with the powders esp lightener and or color removers so it might actually fuck up the process!! just out of precaution!! Much love!!!

keylime pie: Very ptetty ! Awesome job

Kara Scott: I love your hair videos!

Mason BadRapzzz: I just watched this to see wut my hair will look like once I bleach it. u made me more confident lol

mariel sanders: Brad Mondo loved, and was so impressed by this video

patternsofdelusion: I'm actually a natural blonde and really want to go back! I've been auburn for many years, and my hairdresser got me even darker on accident. I'm going to tread carefully. Even if I could just get it a bit lighter, that would be great...

Jane Muse: After watching this I made a list of everything she used and now I’m in the process of toning my hair

Natasha Ann-Marie: Could I please get a little advice? I followed both of your blonde tutorial videos, only I bleached at 30 volume on monday. My hair was darker than yours so my ends barely took and my roots got pretty blonde. I just bleached again today with the same process only my ends turned a dark ginger color while the top of my head/roots are now a really light blonde orange color. Should I bleach just my ends again with 20 volume? I fear if I tone it now with t18 it won't look right. My hair feels fairly okay because I used coconut oil and it's thick. If you can answer and help me out, thank you so much!

duckcluck123: looks so good and natural on you our Scandinavian queen

Nichole.Rose: I'm going for an ash blonde I'm doing mine sometime this week and I'm going to use t18 as well so I'm nervous and excited

Irina Benabe: You looks so nice in blonde

Mad: YOU LOOK SO CUTE IN BLONDE!!!

Melody: Did you do this all in one day? I am thinking of using color fix. I have naturtint box black and trying to get to a level 7 or 8 dark ash blonde (my natural color). I've already tried color oops and vitamin c, both with minimal results. Does color fix really work that much better? And do you recommend that I do the bleach/toning steps? If I do, I'd probably put a level 8 box dye over it. what products from Sally's would you recommend?

juhkneeva: This is gonna be really weird but if you were to shave your entire head I feel like you could rock it, I also have never seen someone else who has green eyes!! You pull off any look you do!!!

Karla lomelí: I've been following her instructions and I'm bloond with no damages thank u one thing I'm not using 40 vol I'm using 30 little by little I'm a 8 tone need up 2 more

Janie Cervantes: What treatment did you use to treat your bkeached damaged hair ?

Tuesday Whitney: Should I still strip the color out if my hair is an orange & brassy?

Kathy Chavarria: You look so pretty with blonde hair (but you look gorgeous with any shade you have, lucky :) Have you heard anything or tried Aveda’s Blue Malva shampoo and conditioner? I recently order the set for my newly blonde bleached hair, also what do you usually color your eyebrows in with when you go blonde? Love from Texas !!

Lori Jane: Guess who’s going blonde tomorrow because if YOUR ‘Going Blonde’ videos. you give me so much hope

Heather Ross: Never use metal with hair color. Use plastic. The metals can mess up the color. Same with the bowl. Plastic only girl! But otherwise, great results girlie!

Ellie Andrews: Thank you for your videos You are beautiful within also!

dandelion: You're videos are so helpful!

Lauren: cool thank you!

diana goddard vlogs: "now that all the colors are mixed and i'm high off the fumes, let's get started. " LOL dead.

Jada Van Zant: im watching this while im bleaching my hair with all these exact products I picked up today

Rosie D: How long did you wait before doing each step?

Norhan K.: is there any other toners or DIY toners that i can use instead of the Wella Color Charm because it's really expense in here?❤

Amanda: Do you still recommend this method? I noticed you had some trouble with your roots in a video after this!

Liseth G.: If you already have lightish (dyed) hair do you still need the first step of color fix?

Blunt Baby: Yes plz do the video how you got your hair back healthy

Marie-Fay: Need hair mask, and alot of castor oil or a mix with it! I saved my bleached hair like seriously

robin deisig: please post a video of your hair care routine!!

Dalia Akram: Yes please show us how you made your hair more healthier after bleaching it

Une Vie De Pachas: I loved your colour at 4:00, it looked like a strawberry blonde..

Nino Circus Freak: Simple solution about the itching: take an anti-allergen pill first. I will never dye my hair anymore without first taking one

Nala Fitness: Try Scruples Color Delete next time - it doesn't have that sulfur smell and you don't need to rinse forever. I think it lifts to a less neon color, too ;). You do have to order it a few days ahead of time on Amazon, though...

Cheryl Ardis: For toner. Since it's one to two. Just dump out the toner into your bowl then use same bottle toner came in and fill twice with the developer.

Sierra Stanley: Please answer my question did you have previously lightened hair before you did the auburn color?

Jason and Laronda Warrick: You are absolutely adorable

Summer is wandering: bleached underneath of my hair but my hair is kind-of a reddish brown from previous dyes so ofc it came out a pinkish blondish red lol.. gonna bleach it again but i’m kinda scared cause my ends are looking a little rough but that’s what hair cuts are for right

Just Smiling: I haven't dyed my hair in 2 years... from red dye to black dye. since it's been so long and i want to go blonde do i still need to lift the black before bleaching? never been blonde before

Shanice Hunt: Does it have to be wella charm developer? For the toning and please yes do a hair care routine!!

John3:16 #Mommy&Lilys: great tutorial and love u fo listing the steps so i do have to keep pausing to figure out what u used or did lol... fr ! =] i shaved my head/pixie ...grew out to my shoulders virgin dirty blonde now ...umm used box dye to see if it would make me blonderrr ... nope i look like ginger so i am buying tis color remover and i already have the prism bleach..im just on the fence if i want to buy the toner or use my argan lilac dye lol... thanks!!

Jeanne Marie: I was a natural redhead. dyed hair so dark for so long. I did the color stripping and turned out a redhead again which I kind of like but I want to transition to blonde or blond-ish. your tutorials are great...concise.. easy and thorough. love them. the red on you looks great too.

Elizabeth Lake Gillis: Love your videos and wish you'd do more hair and style videos. :) Do you use olaplex 3 during the maintenance period? I'm wondering how long to wait between bleaching sessions and other tips for going light in stages. I would love to see maintenance videos and tips!!!! *Hugs from Montreal*

Allison Clark: I love the nose touch to the camera!

Emily Sumner: How long did u keep the bleach on xxx

Tayja Alexis: can you use all of the booster w bleach n did you use shampoo to rinse w the bleach or just conditioner?

BLESSEDHands ASMR: very informative, subscribbed, thanx

numbs☆: and my mom says it isnt possible when i ask her...i should just do this myself

Aylen: LOL again nice! I love these. Watched all your blonde transformations hahah. Do you have IG?

Flawed Beauty: You go blonde a lot..! I love it lol

Gio: Please tell us how you repair your hair!!

Irina Quintero: Should I use 40 developer on my orange brassy hair after bleaching with 30 developer?

Lauren Griffin: When you rinse the colorfix & bleach do u shampoo and condition?

abbey olden: ugh you are the most beautiful person ive ever seeeeen!!!!!

A: Brad Mondo reacted to this video in his recent red to blonde video!!
