Today, we're going to get to know another new release by jon renau for fall 2021. This is quinn in the color 22f16 lots of details here coming up. I purchased this style from wig studio. One drop below this video, where you'll find a link directly to this style. You can look at all of the colors and the pricing we invite you to shop at wig studio, one. If you have any questions for us, please reach out to support at wingstudio1.com. They'Re always ready to help quinn is a short bob style cut with some textured waves and some longer fringe be sure to hang in there for the complete unboxing of this style. I actually filmed that yesterday. So we're going to be revealing how this looks right out of the box now this color 22 f16. I want to get into this with you a little bit um. This is a blend of some ash and some natural blonde, so it is basically a light ash blonde, and then it has some medium to dark natural blonde. Now the natural blonde in this is the darker of the two tones and it really appears very ashy as well. Overall, this is a cool tone, even though that natural blonde is leaning a little more neutral. The overall effect here is very cool ash light ash blonde blend you'll see that the darker shades are concentrated a little bit at the nape. That gives us some beautiful variation in this style, because this is not a rooted. Color quinn features that longer front piece. So about 7.75 inches, which you know might as well be eight inches right, um, it's a little bit wavy there, and that does stretch well past my chin. Now i personally just want to get in there and put in like a five or six inch. Bang. Just a little bit of a shorter fringe, i feel like this flops in the face and it sort of stretches out my features in a way that isn't the most flattering. I really think that this would look really amazing with a shorter fringe and again, that's just my own personal preference, i'm six and a half from hairline to chin. Now, in the back you're going to see about a nine inch crown meeting up with a four and a half or so inch, nape, that's going to give you a little bit of stacking there, which really highlights that texture and gives it a nice full. Look. All the way around this style features a monofilament lace front and left monofilament lace, part assembly. I say that because it's one single unit, it's made from the welded monofilament lace that they use on all of their smart lace products, so it runs temple to temple. I think it's well done. It has a nice fine grid and this is a lighter color, but it does appear that it's a little bit thinner in the front getting a little gradually more thick as you move back, which gives it a nice natural appearance. Now, with that monofilament part, here's my here's, my only problem with that it stops about halfway back and when the monofilament stops about halfway back. You get this unusual unnatural, looking hump right behind it, because guess what they have to fill that in with fiber and permatease um. What i've noticed here is that they're, using a lot of those short little straight hairs at the base of the cap in that area, which kind of do stick up a little bit so you're going to have to get in there and just really suss out. All of the fiber to so that it reaches up and surrounds and obscures those little short hairs. But this really is news anchor style, hair um. You ever watch the news anchors, sometimes where it's real pretty at the front and then about halfway back. You see this big hump where they've teased it that's kind of what this reminds me of there's nothing wrong with that. Look at all is if that's what you are going for, you just need to be aware that this monofilament doesn't go all the way back to the behind crown there. It'S really lightweight. It only weighs three ounces. So it's super lightweight. Let'S talk about these fibers, though, for a moment, because i feel like this new uh, this new fall collection for 2021 is different in terms of the fiber that they are using if you're used to the jon, renau fiber of being really silky and soft and fine. This particular fiber is on the dry side. It'S dry, it's a little bit rougher, but it's still super fine and feathery um. I have experienced this kind of fiber before and a lot of the kanekalon blend, uh synthetics and there's nothing wrong at all with it. This is regular synthetic. This is not heat friendly. I think it moves very well um and if you're bothered by the little bit of roughness and dryness, you can always add a little bit of some conditioning spray, which i did back here to maya and it worked very well. So the wave pattern is just a shattered spiral. That'S been really taken down on the ends, texturized on the ends and brushed out looking. So it gives you a full beach wave look and again in the back you're going to see most of that texture and then on the crown and in the front it's a little bit more smooth, there's limited permatease on this style, so it's very very flat. Actually, on the top you're not going to be able to pinch in much uh lift at the top at all, and there is absolutely no contour at the front piece. So just keep that in mind. You'Re going to see most of your permatease on the sides. The temples, the back and nape, because that's where the body is that's where it's needed the most. So this short bob really does feature a lot of volume right on the sides. It'S a little slimmer on the top. That'S something that you have to know works with your face shape. So how do you know that quinn will be a better choice for you compared to some other similar jon renau styles? And what comes to mind to me is the january and the parker. So the january is longer and it doesn't have as much stacking and it definitely doesn't have all of the as much shattered texture and as it does here on quinn january sides. Our front is going to be a little bit longer overall. So we're the sides and the back so there's a little less layering there as well and january features a full monofilament top versus the the left-hand monofilament part um parker parker has that lace, front monofilament part parker also has a longer front piece and all the way Around and again not as much textured wave, there's, definitely not as much stacking on parker as there is on quinn. So each one of these has a little bit of a different layering and different technique, but they're basically similar and could be used as sister styles. All right so it's time to do our unboxing of quinn. Again i filmed this yesterday. I didn't have makeup on or anything it wasn't my day to film, but i do like to get those done ahead of time, so i don't have to put on another wig to show you the unboxing, so just right out of the box you'll see this is A part of the jon renau's, smart lace, collection, featuring that lace, front, left, monofilament, lace, part and um all of the typical packaging and so forth. The tag the hang tag is accurate. So let's turn this inside out and look at this cap right away. There'S the lace front left, monofilament part assembly now that lace front, although it does not extend back into the ear tab, it does wrap around those seams in the front. So i feel like that is a really nice natural looking front again. That monofilament part goes about halfway back to the crown, so it if it appears a bit stunted. I wish they would have taken that all the way to the crown. I think it would have been a much better natural look. You'Ve got the the velvet or felted ear tabs with nice. Sturdy stays an extended nape with the velcro style, adjusters lots of wefting and lots of stretch. I had to remove this style several times during the review to make an adjustment. It runs really large on me. Um this batch of jon renau, wigs that came out this fall uh typically are a little bit larger in the in the average size model that they're using. So i did have to cinch it in and even crisscross the adjusters on all three of the pieces that i have explored from this new line. Okay, so i'm just going to shake it out really! Well, i'm going to rub on the lace front, i'm going to rub out the at the permatease layer just to kind of wake up the fibers and then i'm going to go to work around the face. I always like to find a parting space that is comfortable, convenient and flattering to me while still staying along that monofilament. I also like to see what it can do. Is there any natural lift um, you know what can i do with this style, so it didn't. Take me long to figure out that there's no baked in lift there at the front. This is really meant to be sort of tamped down across the forehead. If you wanted to do something like that, um you would probably have to use steam, which is it's not a heat friendly wig, so just keep all of that in mind, but otherwise a nice flirty texture. All of that brushed out shaggy beach wave in the back. Really really cute style, so we're going to try it with glasses. It'S going to work great with glasses. I can already tell and then i'll go right into some styling for quinn. So you can get some ideas of the movement, how it reacts to styling and maybe inspire you to style. Your own quinn, we'll see you next time on taz's wig closet at wig studio, one! You

Front Porch Wig Chat: I think this is the best of the new ones from JR, at least for me. I just ordered mine, but of course, it's not yet available, at least in my color. Def an updated January vibe, though with cheaper features. I'll train this away from my face, of course, and may do a shorter side bang as well. The density seems a bit heavy in the front to me, but could be an illusion.

Michelle Diekman: You always do such a Complete Review, Never leaving anything out. Great Job! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Loved ones Dear Lady

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: Hi Taz! I totally agree about the bang needing to be shorter. I don’t wear one length in the front well at all. It looks a little voluminous on the sides for my personal taste but very cute!

Jackie Marsh: Another Adorable One for Sure!! I Really Love Her!! Yes I Agree With You about the Bangs Sweet Friend, but You Always Look Gorgeous!! Thank You Sooo Much for a Perfect Review!! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!! Love and Hugs!! XOXOXO

Mint: Hi Taz, this wig looks like it’s asking to have bangs cut in and to be worn by those with long faces. Square faces like mine would look even wider! I so appreciate these Jon Renau new styles running a tad larger though I realize it makes them unsuitable for petites. Thank you for showing a bit of everything! That way we’re all included! Happy Thanksgiving my friend to you and yours! Since all our family are in Arizona, Colorado, and California, we decided instead of traveling during this chaotic holiday, to get away to a local spot, eat dinner prepared for us, and connect in a relaxed way! We are grateful truly for everything we have, myriads of blessings! Much love, Sharon ❤️xo

Twyla 2: Great review and lots of useful information. Thanks so much.

Frances Lock: It’s the fibre’s longevity and propensity for tangling that I’ll be watching for. Noriko’s fine Dakota fibre was a shocker; others have agreed with me. I love the style and I know women who tease their biohair for that hump at the crown. Thanks for explaining the color, I was curious about it at the sales.

Jacqueline Hubbard: Love that you always include pros and cons!

Shelly F: Hi Taz. Thanks for this review. This wig does look wiggy to me. I agree it may look better if you feather in the bangs to create face framing features. Would like to see you demonstrate that if you decide to keep this one. Hugs! Shelly

swineinny1: This one has a lot of good about it — the length, style, fullness & color. The prob with it — and to me, it’s a BIG prob, is that it looks wiggy. Can it be worked on, the front or part, to look less so? And yeah, it reminds me of several cable news-ladies who have this style & either they’re wearing wigs that look obvious or their natural hair looks wiggy & it’s not a great look. I’d be very, very careful about cutting bangs with this one cuz you could easily mess up the style & while it may solve the prob of keeping it out of face, it may not make it look less wiggy.

megan ryan: I really like Quinn! Thanks for the review Taz❤️

Gaining wisdom: Thanks so much for this review! ID seen A couple others on it and it just didn't sit right for me. On the lighter colors, it was clear from the start that the short part and the kind of bump it, were the things that don't appeal to me. I too would be needing to trim those front pieces, lol! IM still sold on Maya and as far as others similar to this, ID probably lean towards January. So happy you touch on all aspects, as I couldn't get this anywhere else! Stay blessed.

Røbbin Le Mølk: Oh WOW! CUTE CUTE AND CUTE!!! The decision is already made for me....so I guess I have to purchase it☺ thanks taz!

Amy T: Hiya Taz..Happy Thanksgiving pretty lady...SO..as far as this wig, I agree with you about the part line...wow, thats really short. I just recently bought January and Haute.(my first JR wigs)...Got them both in Chocolate Cherry..Love both styles...took the tags off..15 minutes later my mailman asked if I had stitches in the back of my head..I was wearing the Haute...couldnt see the wefting through the fibers in the house..but OUTSIDE..OMG..so peeved that I took the tag off..anyway, I would love to see a comparison of Quinn and Dance by E W...I think they look so much alike

Patty Carosi: Hi Taz! I hit that bell so I don't miss any of your reviews. Cute style. I think a little thick on that bang front. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving! ❤

Marion Muolo: The ladies of Las Vegas say that even stretched out, you are gorgeous! ( even tho we dont think it stretches you out!!)

Margaret Tassey: Thanks for a look at this, especially the color. Looks like an unrooted Venice blonde? This would not be the style for me.

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Taz! I love this one! I must be a frustrated news anchor! Lol! Love and blessings ❤

Jackie Marsh: Happy Early Thanksgiving Everybody!! Have a Beautiful Day!! God Bless!!

Linda Chase: Hi Taz. Love your informative videos. Could you please tell me about the wigs on mannequins S and J. Thank you

Amy Rutherford-Close: Good morning Taz-Love the color, but don't like the fullness in the back. To me, it does make it look more like a wig.

Beverly Bernson: Hi TAZ!! Love all your videos and I watch each video several times. Can you tell me what wig is letter H in your audience?

Cheryl Daniels: Hi. Could you let me know the name & shade of the wig on mannequin C in this video. Really enjoying your reviews. Thanks for sharing it. Shopping for my 1st wig (that I might actually feel confident in wearing out of the house). Thanks again.

Dawnya Sasse: Nice job Taz. Would you please tell me where I could get more info on P ??

Angela Stevens: Hello Taz! Since I have a flat head and need permatease, do you think I would prefer Quinn by John Renau or Naomi by Henry Margu?

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: REMEMBER - If you are going to leave a thumbs down on this video, PLEASE TELL ME WHY, so I can improve my future content! The thumbs down button is not there to GRADE the wig I am reviewing, rather it is a tool to give you a voice to help creators improve their content! I am SO GLAD that YouTube has removed the PUBLIC display of the thumbs down count (it's being rolled out gradually) because it is so misused and offers nothing constructive for the creator. XOXO TAZ

Terri: This looks kind of wiggy to me at the top unfortunately. Could you tell me what styles are on mannequin heads J (in the first half of the video) & S? Thanks Taz and I love all your reviews as they are so so helpful!!

Deborah Luongo: Oh Taz I have that exact top and it comes with the jogger pants.. is it Giuliana Ransik? I am a huge fan of her line..also love this wig segno

Kelly Verbeek: She’s cute… when you get a second can you relay what letters p and f are? Happy thanksgiving to you and the family. I figured out f… but not p… ❤️

popgems: Quinn is cute! What wig is on the "F" stand?

Shelia Davis: Thanks for another awesome review! You are beautiful as always!! I also wanted to know what is j in your audience? Have a Happy Thanksgiving

Monica: This reminds me of Bon Bon by Belle Tress.

Mehul Jain: U look very cute in your bio hair

Anna Rebecca: Pretty color, but the shine just SCREAMS "wig". I think manufacturers should always use heat-friendly to cut down on the awful shine.

Emily Tatro: Can you tell me about #C?

Shelia Davis: I meant the j on the review not the unboxing lol
