Today, we're going to take a look at my first experience with a style from the wig pro line. If you scroll down hit the little help button with a question mark, you can be connected with the live chat, so the wake program, probably within the last year, was added to the wig studio one online store, so they do carry the full range of wig pro Products - the only thing i really knew about wig pro was that they kind of specialized in those a really nice human hair pieces, which i don't wear a lot of human hair. So i wasn't really interested in that, but i recently found out that they do have a collection of regular synthetics and some of those seem to be really affordable. So i wanted to get my hands on one just to see what it was like in terms of quality um and all of that. So i only have this one piece from the synthetic collection by wig pro to show you today. So the synthetic line seems to be priced right in there with other synthetic lines. Uh that offer similar cap features, but i have noticed that some of their open cap styles or traditional cap styles are priced really affordably. So today, i'm going to show you one that i purchased. It'S called liana it's in the color nine tones. So here's a look at the box from the wig pro. This is in the synthetic line, so you've got the glossy black top with a silver embossment. With this matching silver bottom, it's a really sturdy box and they're separate tags inside you'll find all of the tissue paper and packaging that you would expect from a quality brand style. So i'm going to set this aside. I just brought this out of the box. I gave it a few shakes, put it on and arranged the part to my liking, so let's break down nine tones, so this just looks like a really nice medium highlighted: brunette. Doesn'T it so? The base tone is brown and you're gon na find a combination of some medium ash brown and some medium and light golden brown tones so that ash brown just reminds me of a nice walnut brown you're, going to find that mainly at the nape, where it's a Little bit darker and then scattered around you're, going to find a lot of that golden brown. A lighter golden brown - it's not quite warm, but it does give some variation to the brunette base shade and then, with this highlighting you're going to find some light blondes. So you've got some gold blonde, highlighting in there some beige and also some ash. So this is a nice mix of both some ash tones and some warm tones. But overall, looking at this, it just looks like to me like a light to medium very blonde, highlighted brunette shade and it doesn't seem too warm. So if you are a fan of more of an ash tone, i think you really will like this, but uh in those highlight patterns there is some evident gold blonde in there. So just keep that in mind and the way it's highlighted. It almost gives a little bit of an illusion of regrowth there at the base, so it is a really nice believable, dynamic, color, i'm impressed with this color so in the front you're looking at about a six inch fringe right at the front. Now it is a bit wavy, so if i stretch that out, it's probably going to reach nearly to my chin, which i'm six and a half from hairline to chin. Okay, so that'll help you gauge where it's going to strike you around the face. Overall, the length is about seven inches from the crown down, and that goes down into a two inch nape. So where that crown layer meets the nape layer, it's going to create a little bit of a ledge effect, a little bit of stacking in the back. There'S some additional side measurements there. It weighs about 2.7 ounces and features a completely open cap and that's what makes this so affordable. So i don't typically discuss price because price is always subject to change, but what i thought was really notable about this is that the price is right around a hundred dollars at wake studio one - and there is an automatic 30 off discount at checkout. Now promos are always subject to change, but if you do catch this on sale, it'll bring the price down to about seventy dollars, which you cannot beat for a nice open cap style with some pretty quality features for the many okay. So when we talk about quality, it's always relative to price right um. So you know this quality next to one of their human hair pieces yeah, not so much, but if you compare it to other products in a similar price range, it really does stand out. So, first of all, this is a really thick density style. There is a lot of hair here, that's the identity of the style. So if you like styles, like a gabor's sweet, talk, villa's turn i can probably go on and on because, like i say this is my kind of my favorite genre of wig style um. I think you will like the volume and lift on this style. There'S no laser monofilament here so you're going to get volume and lift pretty much everywhere, and there is a nice pillowy presence of permatease all over this cap. As you can expect, it's going to serve two purposes to cover the wefting and create some really nice coverage over those wefts, also giving you some permanent lift of where you need it on this style, so the permatease right there at the part. I suppose, if you had a really light color, you might be able to spice some permatease down through that part. However, it's really easy just to kind of lift the fiber out and away from that bed of permatease to help obscure it. Each one of these fibers is more heavy and thick in denier, and it's kind of rather coarse and rough and dry. Now it's not um. It'S not in a way that makes you think of something bad. It just is like natural curly hair. You get a little bit of a thicker strand and it does seem to be a little more coarse in texture. The curl pattern on this is just sort of a broken barrel. Curl, so you're going to see all the volume of that big soft round. Voluptuous curl and then it looks like it was just deconstructed a tad bit to create some of this roundness. It has a very soft appearance, but it is very voluminous and you are getting lots of lift on the sides and on the top. So i'm going to do a spin and turn for you, both in indoor and outdoor light. And when i come back. We'Re going to discuss the cap, you don't want to miss the cap segment because i think there's a lot you want to know about this. Do inside look at the cap, four wig pros lyanna in the color nine tones, there's a completely open top, so exposed open. Weftings obscured by a layer of permatease, and then you have a velvet front. This is really comfortable. It runs temple to temple and is about an inch thick. They do run a brush of fiber like a little hidden, weft there at the front. This does create a really nice looking hairline there's an open, ear tab here. The ear tabs are quite minimal on this style. I found them to have really nice coverage, but it just depends on how much natural hair that you have in front of the ear, but even if you do there's a lot of fiber spliced right into that ear top so by brushing it forward. It completely covers a natural hairline, there's just a standard nape here and it has beautiful velcro style adjustments. I think that's a really nice touch on this cap. There'S a lot of wefting here, but you want to note: there's not a whole lot of stretch on this style. I feel like it's average size right out of the box and is more likely to fit petite and petite average than it would be average large or large. So if your average large or large, i don't believe this cap will be a nice comfortable fit for you. As i've mentioned, liana is right out of the box. I gave it a shake. I applied it. I just picked and fluffed that permatease layer just to sort of pick the fiber away from that bed of permatease and set free the movement. That'S all i have done to the style, there's no product or other styling, let's try with glasses okay, so these are medium frame type glasses and actually they seem pretty secure between the ear and the ear tab.
