Jon Renau Elisha Wig Review | 24B22 | Compare Ignite! | Such A Sweet Summer-Y Bob Style!

Hey everybody welcome back to thomas's wing closet at wake studio. One we're gon na take a look at a cute little summery bob style cut by jon renau. Today i purchased this style with my own funds from wig studio. One expand the description box below this video i'll, attach a link directly to this style. So you can check out more details and the pricing, so i think alicia is just an anytime anywhere short layered bob. It'S very sweetly styled yet very sophisticated and sexy. So 24b. 22, otherwise known as creme brulee. I first want you to know that alicia is made from the regular synthetic fiber by jon renau. It is not the heat defiant type fiber. I see a big difference between the 22 24 b22, depending on whether it's heat friendly or not. Now this particular application on this non-heat defiant fiber is more gold in tone than the other one. I think that this is gold on gold. Now it says that it's supposed to be like a medium gold blonde with some light ash blonde. I think this ash blonde looks even gold to me. So to me it's just a layering of gold blondes, it's very warm in tone and it is not a rooted color. I think it's a beautiful color and just perfect for summer, if you're used to being a little bit of a darker warm blonde, and you want to lighten up a bit. I think this would be amazing to try all right. So let's talk about alicia again, just the sweetest little everyday all day bob it's just! It is a really nice combination of layering and length and in the front you're going to see right around eight and a quarter inches. Now there is some slight wave to that that you'll see around the face, so it sweetly frames the face and it doesn't appear um to be that long on me, i'm about six and a half from hairline to chin. In the back. We have a five inch crown now, that's about the same as ignite and there's a little bit of beveling, which is also similar to ignite, and then it drops down into about a one and a half inch nape. So the nape is really short and if you have a longer hairline, that is something to consider. So you can already see this bob taking shape, but just by just knowing the dimensions right so you're, starting out with the five inches tapering down and then all of the length is coming in the front that eight and a half. So what that's going to produce is this lovely sweet fringe and there is a very permanent perpetual forward movement on those sides. So those sides are just going to want to swoop in and frame the face and perhaps even get a little bit of a curl right. There at the bottom um this is not a heat friendly cell, so i would not recommend that you try to style it any other way with heat appliances, but if you just work with that with your hand, the heat from your hand a little bit, i think You can arrange it in a way that really flatters your own particular dimensions. Now i feel, like these layers are a bit heavy for me personally on the top. It'S a super cute style. Isn'T it i just find myself constantly trying to swoop them out of the face in the case of elisha, a completely hand-tied cap featuring a full temple to temple smart lace, front, a full single monofilament top and a mesh hand-tied base all the way around. I think they did a great job um, the smart lace is usually pretty durable and the grid is more fine to medium. You know the grid of the lace itself, so the knots are pretty fine here and i think it looks beautiful with this color. It'S not a rooted color. I don't know how this would look on a dark shade, but that lace front is impeccable blends beautifully into my skin tone, and then you have that monofilament top, which always gives you a nice illusion of scalp, no matter how you want to part it. So what i love about this and why i recommend this for perhaps summer weather is because sometimes you get out and there's some wind. You know summertime brings some storms, some gusts of wind and on a hand-tied style like this. It'S just not going to be so obvious, you're not going to have to worry about securing the hair as readily. So i know we're all prepared when we're wig wearers and we're going out into some weather we're very prepared with our hats, scarves bandanas. You know whatever it takes to secure that hair right, but we want a nice natural look and if we can just get away with a hand-tied cap, sometimes that is the ideal situation who wants to cover up with a hat all the time. Nice, nice, realistic. Look! So this density is very light and fine, so i'm glad it's a hand tight, because i worry about maybe some coverage of shoes if it were not hand tied just because it's a very light density with a fine textured fiber. So it just feels like fine silk. Finely spun silk in the description section. It states that you can uh get it fluffed up and spiked, and things like that. I think it's gon na be hard. I think you could do it. I think you could do it easily, but it wouldn't stay because it just doesn't have the body to stay. So i could lift up these layers and kind of fluff and get a really edgy kind of a spiky or voluminous look out of it. It'S going to fall flat in less than five minutes because it just doesn't have the body to support it. So this is one of those styles that if you do want some volume, if you have a special occasion, you want an up and over type thing. I think you're going to have to hold it with some fiber contour cream by jon renau or some fiber love hairspray. I mentioned that hand. Tied caps tend to be a little more petite anyway, um versus an open cap style, but this one is really petite guys. I love it. It fits me like a glove like a second skin. It'S super comfortable. When you get a hand-tied cap that fits you perfectly, you don't even know you're wearing a wig. That is a rare thing for me to feel that way, um. But this this one gives me that feeling so i'm a 21 and a quarter inch around and i have petite measurements from ear to ear and front to back. So this is a true petite based on this particular unit and my particular measurements. There'S no visible permatease or palpable permatease anywhere on this cap and that's another reason why it's going to be a little harder to sustain any kind of volume without some help of some styling product. Here'S, this beautiful hand-tied cap by jon renau for alicia petit! There'S your temple to temple lace front. It does not extend beyond the seam, then you have a seam adjoining the lace front to the single monofilament top all hand. Tied knots are very fine, beautifully done cap. Then you have a felted ear tab. Now that ear tab is actually pretty short, i think that's commiserate with this type of cap, especially in a petite size. There is an extended felted nape with velcro style, adjusters and then a completely hand-tied base. So you'll see a little bit of mesh material here with hand-tied cluster knots throughout. There are some seams to kind of give a little bit of more support, but you won't find any wefting or permatease on this cap. It is a true petite size. So all this talk about upcoming summer, let's talk about how this works with glasses, so i've got my little sun shades on these are so old guys, i'm not even sure where i bought these um these little aviators. They were just cheap sunglasses from kohl's. I think i think i do this just like i do my readers like, i have all kinds of them stashed here and there and i happen to use these mostly in my styling segments, but it fits beautifully between the ear and the ear to have no problem With being secure and comfortable here so bring on the summer baby and you can even get an ear tuck and wear your glasses, so this style again is right out of the box. I shook it out. I swirled around to wake up the fiber and that's all i have done to this style. So i'm just going to flirt with these layers a little bit kind of give you an idea how it moves and reacts to styling, and i hope you all have a wonderful season.
