Let'S take a look at a brand new style released by ellen villa today. This is vanity in the color silver blonde rooted. All these details coming up, this wig style was sent to me by wig studio one for this review today drop below this video locate. The link in the description box - this will take you out to the style. So vanity is a part of the ellen villas luxury collection called hair society. This is a look at the packaging got a nice gold box. Here everything is very sturdy about the box untamed luxury. There'S a lot of upscale very luxurious features to this cap. It'S mostly hand tied, so let's take a look at this style, real quick. So again, this ultra luxurious shag, style, pixie cut, which is evident here in all of this layering, so that first layer there at the front is going to be about three and a half. It'S a straight across bang type layer it can be swept off to either side or worn straight down. According to your measurements, it's been not cut and taken down. So it's a nice wispy appealing, bang that really does go with the rest of the style. There is a four inch crown and i love a four inch crown because it does give a little bit of a profile right there at the crown. I need that kind of to balance out the look for me, that is, a preference there's, a three inch layer on the sides. Kind of has that forward swept movement and classic shag style, and then it has a three and a half inch nape, so that nape is ample. It'S able to cover up, i would say most hairlines. It sweeps around the ear nicely delivers really nice coverage. It moves very nicely and stays put across the nape. Now, let's talk about this cap, so you're going to see a lace, front, an extended hand, type lace, front, a full monofilament top and then you're going to see a partially hand tight cap all the way around. So let's talk about this because this cap is a little bit unique. So let's take a look at the inside of the cap. While we are here there is that temple to temple extended lace front. It extends back into the ear tab. It'S gently contoured! Okay, it has nice fine knots there at the front. I think they've knotted this like every other hole, or so so it doesn't appear to be too thick or too uniform and then there's a bit of a seam leading back to the monofilament now uh. This monofilament is a little bit different, so the inside layer is definitely made from a lace, more monofilament type material and then there's a bit of a nylon sheath on the outside. Okay, so that just gives it a realistic look. I think a lot of their mono tops are constructed this way. Now it's very, very soft and pliable you've got a closed velvet ear tab with lots of fiber spliced in there nice sturdy stay for good coverage. You have a felted nape with velcro style adjusters. Now there is wefting all throughout this cap, but you'll notice that it's integrated into that cap. That makes a nice comfortable feel so this cap is average size right out of the box. I had to cinch it in quite a bit to accommodate a petite average circumference. It could stretch up probably to average large, so i think the ideal customer for this would be anywhere from a 21 and a half to a 22 and a half circumference. I do not have a weight measurement on vanity, but i would guess it's probably right around two ounces, not much more than two it couldn't be. It just feels like feather light on the head. It'S an extreme light density. So a lot of the ellen villa styles. You will find that beautiful light density, so, if you're opposed to some of the heavier densities, if you're just getting started with wigs and the heavier densities are off-putting, i think this would be a great one to start with now. Each one of these fibers is baby. Fine, it has more of a dry type texture to it. Therefore, you're not going to find much body here, it's not going to you're, not going to be able to lift it up and expect it to stay. So it's a dry feathery fiber and you can move it around with your fingers. But if you want any kind of lift you're, probably going to have to get some product on this hair in order for it to stay that way, but again that density just carries through this style. There'S absolutely no permatease at all on this cap. So that contributes to this slimmer profile. Look that you're seeing all the way around. So it's fairly flat all the way around. It'S a slim profile, it hugs the head. You can still style it nicely, though you see, i just have this raked back a little bit and kind of put behind the ears, but if you just bring out the natural look of this by fluffing it with your fingers, you're going to see that those side Pieces kind of want to sweep forward and that shaggy movement same with the back from the lace front, nice fine knots there and moving back then into that monofilament. You can definitely see through to the illusion of scalp. This is a fully synthetic style. It is not heat friendly and it comes with a pretty high price tag, so this is just a special piece that you can buy and maintain for a very long time. Just based on this length alone, you should be able to get lots of wear out of this style like this. It is really nice one of the only shake and go hand tied styles that i'm aware of it does seem very convenient and easy to wear. So, let's chat about this color real quickly. This is silver blonde rooted by ellen villa the numbers are 60 24 and a 1001. So what i'm looking at here is more of a pure white base. Color now it has been toned a bit to give it that very, very cool, almost silver. Look, i'm not seeing any gray or silver in this, but that toned white just gives that appearance. It does have some highlights, or some lowlights, if you will, of an ash blonde like a medium ash, blonde highlight or low light all right and then in there as well you're going to see some icy platinum. So, in addition to the white you're going to see some platinum and some ash blonde, and all of that is on a medium brown root, it's a very cool icy shade. This style right out of the box with just a couple of shakes is absolutely perfect. You don't even have to have a designated parting space on this style. You can just tussle it and the messier, it is the better it looks so we're going to try with glasses that's beautifully between the ear and the ear tab, wonderful, glasses, friendly, wig style. Ray Bridget Moore: I purchased this wig because of this review. It seemed to have everything I was looking for - low density, no permateese, lace front, mono top. I was so excited to get it and when I took it out of the box it looked like it would be perfect. I ordered it in Pearl Mix which is very close to my natural hair color. I had to take it in a bit since I have a petite head. Sad to say, but it just looks strange on me. There's so much "cap" on the top of my head that it makes me look like my head is very pointed, no nice, round shape. I've seen/read about taking in the caps and was wondering if you know about it and had ever done it. Thanks for your comments.

I mean, the style itself is carefree & looks great unstructured, so I don't 'get' the lace front or hand-tying? Seems a waste? I just went for my very first wig try-on at a wig salon... it was a disaster. Not only did I feel like the wigs they showed me had far too much hair, but them not having the color I would like, it was hard to tell really what the cut would look like when the color was opposite of what I want. Also, I have a very small head, and the wigs did not fit very well. HOW do we ever find one that we like?
