Belle Tress Siciliano Wig Review | Champagne With Apple Pie | Compare Bon Bon | Old Hollywood Curls!

Hey everybody welcome back to taz's wig closet. This is taz. Today, i really think this wig style uh fits a unique market, this one's siciliano by belletress, it's in their cafe collection and it's shown in the color app champagne with apple pie. So champagne, with apple pie, is a combination of some cool light blonde, and then you have some sandy brown tones in there. Maybe a pinch of honey, and all of that is on a light brown root. The color arrangement on this particular style is very light and bright, but it's actually leaning neutral to warm in tone. So let's talk siciliano we're looking at a bit about a six inch fringe piece here and it's curly and kind of contoured. So that's probably going to strike you somewhere around your cheek area in the back you're, going to see an eight and a half inch crown and that meets up with a one and a half inch nape. Now, don't let that one and a half inch nape scare! You because what's happening here is as that eight and a half inch crown meets that one and a half inch nape it uh. It just gives a little bit of a ledge effect there, and it gives you some very nice coverage, there's about an eight inch layer on the sides as well. Now as the measurements suggest. It might suggest that there's a slight angle here, but really i see that it's pretty much the same length all the way around and this style features a temple to temple, lace, front and a left. Monofilament part. Let'S take a look at the lace front, so i think the lace front is fairly well done. It has a medium to fine knotting and the root color isn't so dark as to given a pluggy effect to the front. So i really like this one and it runs temple to temple but does not extend beyond that. So this short curly bob has a lot of beautiful curly texture to it. It just like there's looks like there had been some big soft round: curling curler type curls that were just kind of pulled through and deconstructed. It'S not that trendy tapered shattered. Look like you see on some of these other ones. Have you ever heard of or experienced the style by raquel welch? It'S called chic alert. It reminds me so much of chic alert both in style and the curl pattern, and i don't even know if raquel welch, chic alert is still in production. I'Ll have to check on that um, but this would be a nice sister style to that raquel welch style. Actually, the curl pattern kind of curls under at the nape just a little bit that even gives you some more coverage more and better coverage than something that might flip out. This piece is heat friendly up to 350 degrees, just like the other beltress styles. In that cafe, collection, so it has a lot of curl. Doesn'T it just a a big round, curly bob, but it doesn't have a thick density. I would say this is an average density style. It only weighs 2.9 ounces. It is really a nice round full voluminous bob that doesn't weigh you down on on the head. You'Ll also be pleased to know that this is also a low permatease style again like so many of those in that cafe, collection, there's just enough permatease throughout this style. To obscure wefting and keep the style going, but it's not soft, thick and pillowy and it doesn't feel heavy on the head. This style is right out of the box. I gave it a couple of nice shakes and i kind of swirled around, as i put it on my head, but that is it that's all i have done now. What i've noticed is that, when it's straight out of the box before i gave it a couple of shakes, the curls were really tightly bound up into that cap, but after shaking them a little bit and swirling around, they really did kind of loosen up. For me, curls is one of those things where don't trust what you see right out of the box on curls, because curls will relax a little bit and especially after you've washed it at least one time. Okay. So i do want to compare this to a sister style and that very same cafe, collection, it's about the same length and it's very, very curly. It'S called bon bon - and i have bon bon here in this very same color champagne with apple pie, so this will kind of give you a demonstration and kind of put into perspective some of this curl. So here is bonbon. Now the specs of bonbon you're going to see where there's a little bit of a shorter by about a half of an inch, it's really negligible on the front pieces there. I really like both of these bang areas. They stay out of the eyes so well and then what you'll see, though, in the back there's a lot more layering on bonbon and you'll, see that tapered shattered texture that very kind of dreamy trendy effect that's going on and is so very popular today. But i really like this siciliano. It gives you a more softer. Look a more elegant! Look! If you will it's not quite as casual as that shattered texture. Bonbon. Let'S take a look. Did it's an inside look at the cat for siciliano by belletress again, there's that lace, front left, monofilament part single unit design there a little bit of rose lace with some permatease a felted, closed, nape, bra, strap type, adjusters an extended felted nape and that's a very Comfortable nape, i need to add that, and i did cinch it in just a bit to accommodate a petite average circumference. So, let's get on to some styling for siciliano. It just gives me a chance to get to know the wig. When you get your fingers in it, you can start working with it and change up the look a little bit. I like the fact that you can tuck siciliano, it's very easy to tuck behind the ear, there's limited permatease and volume there, and so it's just as cute as can be that way. If you wanted to do both ears, you could certainly do that as well, and then i have a pair of glasses here. We'Re going to try that between the ear and the ears have perfect, i have not met a beltress style that wasn't glasses friendly. I always love using square bands with a short curly style like siciliano. It'S beautiful such a fun way to wear it too. This can be a really cute, bigger style, even if you just kind of play up that volume bring some air into those curls. So, let's try to stretch these curls out, make them a little smoother against the head, so you're not getting a completely smooth. Look, that's not how this style was arranged, but you can definitely really tamp down the volume in areas that you might not like volume in.
