Wig Review Mila By Jon Renau In Pralines And Cream

In this video, I share my thoughts on Mila by Jon Renau in the color 14/26, Pralines and Cream!

I purchased this wig from CysterWigs.com

Hey guys welcome back to wear wigs with me today, I'm wearing ela by John Renault in the color pralines, let's get started. Mila is a wavy curly shoulder-length bob. It'S basically I mean I think it's pretty much straight all the way around. It'S gorgeous, I mean look at that curl and the volume I just love it. Mila has a lace-front genre nose smart laced in a mono top Mila was the first wig that I bought with a mono top and I got ta say it kind of changed everything for me. Once I experienced this mono top, it was real hard to go back to just the basic cap. Wigs, like my Kristin in my Felicia, my scarlet, all those first wigs that I bought were just open cap. I was fine with that until I got the mono part, that kind of changed things mono top it's just so nice, you can part it anywhere. You want, and the hair just acts different. It'S just more because it's hand tied onto that mono part. It just moves. So much freer and more natural. So besides the lace front, the mono table, Jean Renault, has great caps. Nice velvet lined ear tabs with good secure stays extended in a Velcro, adjusters and then open cap everywhere else, but it's comfortable. I'Ve said before I believe, when I was doing Kristin and scarlet Jean Renault caps fit me a little snugger, but today is the first day I'm not wearing a wig grip and I'll. Tell you why I'm trying it stays I took it. Stays is the first time I've ever used it on camera. I took this I rolled, I didn't have my wig on I rolled it all like I'd use like three or four swipes across my forehead. I don't know how much you're supposed to use. I probably should have read the directions or watched a video, but so I did like force force wipes and then put my wig on and then just press to my lace in like I would have anyway. Oh my gosh, you guys it's not going anywhere. I have no wig gripper. I can grab this wig mess with this part. It'S not moving. Oh my gosh, I mean this is a game-changer. I'Ve had the it stays for, I don't know at least a month, but I've been nervous because you know why change it? If it ain't broken, so my wig grip, I just always felt so secure and confident with my wig grip that I just I didn't want to risk trying it stays. And then you know having something happen. While I was out and about or something today as I'm putting this on, I'm like hey, it's a blonde wig, I never wear blonde got red lipstick on pretty sure this is the first time in my life, I've ever worn red lipstick, and so why not we're Just trying all kinds of new things today, let's try a little it stays see what happens see if this wig pops off my head by the end of this video as much as I mess with it. So the measurements on Mila, the bang is 11 inches. The crown is 13, the sides are 10 in the nape is 7 Mila weighs 3.8 ounces. It looks like a lot of hair and it is but it's not heavy, I mean it just you know you feel it, but honestly I am kind of liking. This no wig grip thing because it feels like less on my head. I mean because there is, but I never really thought the wig grip added that much, but not having it on wow. I mean it just. It feels like even less on my head. It feels really comfortable, so my head measurements. I have a twenty two point: five inch circumference my face is 7.5 and then my neck is two and a half or three, the next kind of a hard thing to measure we've. I'Ve talked about that before, but it gives you an idea of how milla falls on me just right at my shoulders and I'm seven and a half and two and a half or three and like I said so, 22.5 is a little bit on the larger side And this is an average cap size and it's smaller than Raquel Welch fits on me or Gabor or aesthetic, but it's still comfortable. It'S not as tight as MV MV fits me pretty pretty small, but but I can. I can pull off a John Renault average size cap and, like I said, I'm going wid grip list here today and just have it stays and it's daen. So let's talk about the color, I received this wig on August 30th and I'll pop a couple pictures in here of the day I received her. I had been wanting Mila, I mean I start buying wigs the beginning of July, so I wasn't wanting for that long. But since I had seen a video, probably Tazz's video I've wanted her, it was so pretty and I just I love the curls. I love the volume I really wanted her. So when I received her, I was so excited during that month. I kind of wanted to try different colors. I was really settling into wigs and exploring new wigs and I'd kind of come to the realization that I wasn't just looking for one wig. I kind of caught the bug of trying new styles and brands, and so I started to get a little adventurous with color and this is 14:26 pralines and cream, and it will be the only one that I own in this color. It'S just not my color, I'm not comfortable in it. I wear it because I love Mila so much, but I will be ordering Mila in strawberry shortcake. So if you read about pralines and cream, like the reason I felt comfortable to try, pralines and cream, is that the description says and I'm gon na read it medium natural ash, blonde blended with medium red golden blonde. So I thought: okay! Well, if I'm going to be adventurous and try a little bit more blonde, this is gon na have some red in it and some golden blonde. Those are all words that I look for. No, there is not a drop of red in this wig. I don't know we're number 26 is in here, but this isn't red. I mean not even a little there's, not even a little bit of strawberry. So just know that pralines and cream is beautiful. If you want a golden blonde wig, it's beautiful because that's what it is it's golden blonde! I don't get a lot of ash color if you're wanting an ashy blonde. I wouldn't choose this one, even though it says that 14 is supposed to be a natural. What'S it say, a medium natural ash blonde? I don't really get a lot of ashy blonde in this I get a golden blonde sister. Wigs probably has the best description, which is where I bought this, but whenever I'm researching colors I go to lots of different sites because everybody has a little bit different way of describing wigs. So I guess I really just grabbed onto the description that I wanted because sister wig says medium honey, blonde, blended with medium golden blonde with butterscotch tones yeah. That'S that's what you're gon na get this is. There is some butterscotch, but it's honey blonde golden blonde. I mean it's beautiful. This just isn't my comfort zone, my comfort zone is that orange -- red strawberry blonde. This is where colors get tricky because so 14:26, the 14, is the medium ashy blonde. The 26 was kind of hard to find, but you kind of had to look, it seems, like 26 with genre know, is always put with other colors, it's one of their blending colors. Evidently. So what if you look at caramel syrup is 26:31 with genre no and 26, and in that color shade code, it's considered that the strawberry blonde of caramel syrup and then 31 is the deep red. When you put strawberry blonde and deep red together, you get that caramel syrup and I mean to me I feel like I would like that like when I see those 26 31. That tells me I'm gon na like it. But I've watched enough videos to know that think I would like caramel syrup. It looks Brown when I see it on other people. Aesthetic is our 30 28 26. I love it. That'S my favorite color! So anytime, I see any number 26 to 31. I think I'm gon na, like it but boy they can be so different. It'S just trial and error. I know now I tried it and I'm gon na keep this wig. Probably until I order a new one, you know it's fun to put on and it's comfortable and I love this style, so I wear it. So, let's do a quick comparison as I'm talking about this pralines and cream, and I'm talking about how blonde it is, and I never wear this much blonde. I just kept thinking about this Raquel Welch, glazed, strawberry and in my mind I kept thinking man. It is really blonde, maybe maybe they're very similar, so I wanted to go grab it and let's do a quick side-by-side of these two, as you can see, or I can see in person, glazed strawberry just have so much more red in it. This is Raquel. Welch'S number 29 and 29 is is really their blend of every red in the wig world, pralines and cream. Is that 14:26, like I said it just, doesn't have the red in it like glazed, strawberry does and glazed strawberry is really the only other wig. I have with this much a blonde in it all. My other Reds tend to lean toward the the brown, the Auburn spectrum. This is really the only other blonde that I have besides Mila and pralines and cream. I just wanted to do a quick comparison. The more I was talking about all this blonde. I just kept picturing this wig thinking gosh. That has a lot of blonde in it. I wonder how similar they really are. Most of the reason that I started this channel, as as I was watching wig reviews and I watched a lot of hours of wig reviews as I was watching them, I was noticing that number one. There wasn't a lot of redhead wig reviewers, which I'm not really representing that today, but I'm drawn to red wigs and there's not a lot of specifically red head wig reviews out there. The second reason I wanted to start my own channel is: I was watching all these wig reviews. They were straight out of the box and I just thought: okay, I like that, but how are they wearing it? Where are they wearing that wig like? What does it look like out in the wild, and so I thought I wanted to see what it would be like to wear a wig for several weeks and for several weeks and in this case, where wig for several months and then do a wig review and And really be able to give my watchers and a look into how this wig wears. Where do I wear it? How do I wear it and what does it look like after a couple weeks or a couple months of messing with it and washing it and and living in it, but I wore Mila running errands going to the grocery store going to Hobby Lobby to pick up Yarn, I just wear her in regular live, but I also walked her to my grandmother's 90th birthday, where I was in her for like ten hours I never had to mess with her. I just had a wig grip on. I didn't have any glue or tape, and I didn't even have to think about it, and I got compliments on my hair and of course I tell everybody, I'm wearing a wig, so it was fun to start out that conversation with a couple. Ladies, that were just like what and oh my gosh. I need to talk to you more about this. I'Ve been thinking about a wig, so that was neat. I want to be able to tell you guys what wigs are like wearing them. That'S the name of my channel, that's where it came from way our wigs with me. I want to talk about how a wig wears. How is it when you go out to eat and your head is down? You know: Milas, probably not good choice for that. Unless I want to pin these back, which mila looks super cute like that, so I could do that and then I want to know how a wig wear is running errands getting in and out of a car, the wind, the elements, the weather. What what wig is is good for certain situations. This is my first winter in wigs, so I'm quickly learning that I actually prefer the shorter wigs, because I like to wear high neck things in the winter and big chunky, scarves and puffer vest and just bulkier clothes. I don't want a long wig that I'm constantly you know pulling out and messing with and just fussing with. I don't want to fuss. I wear wigs that do most of the work. A long wig is beautiful and if I'm you know just going from home and maybe going to a holiday gathering like I got that McKenzie by Aesthetica that I've shown all over Instagram because it's gorgeous I'm pretty sure I'm gon na be wearing McKenzie to holiday gatherings. But in that case, I'm going to be getting myself ready sitting in the car driving to a location, taking my coat off, that's a little bit different than running errands get in and out of the car. My everyday activities. I don't want to fuss with a long, beautiful wig I want to wear like I had on the other day, sweet-talk or Kristen, even Scarlett, I wore scarlet to a cookie exchange and we painted boards. That was very comfortable because scarlet is a little bit shorter than Mila. Mila is even getting a little bit too long for me to wear to run errands now because of the coats and the scarves, and that another great thing about Mila is. I don't get a lot of tangle from Mila any time I take a wig off. I always do the detangle before I put it on the mannequin and I don't get a lot of tangling formula, which is surprising because it's a lot of hair and it's curly. These hair fibers are really nice. I mean I I'm really enjoying him. I mean look at that. You guys know what grip only it stays running my fingers through. It no worries it's pretty cool okay, so this has been Mila by John Renault in the color, 14:26 pralines and cream. I definitely want this wig in strawberry shortcake. So look for that one of these days, but I'm gon na do another 360 for you. Let'S just see this one all around and don't forget this awesome, mono top that you can just part. Whichever way you want, we can go down the middle. Oh, my gosh, you guys how fun and pretty is that? Oh, I love it. Okay I'll see you guys. Next week, I hope you have a fun week, whatever you're doing this week, whatever you're celebrating just get out and enjoy life and wear your wigs bye. Oh my gosh, you guys, so this whole bit space thing. I totally forgot to put this in the video. A second ago watch this, you

Lisa Wawrzynski: I just found your channel and I love it! You're doing a wonderful job :-) I agree with you about the color of your Mila wig; it's the tone, the "ash" color. I just received my first wigs (Mila & Rachel by Jon Renau) and I selected the absolute wrong color for my skin tone. Wanting so much to wear "cool" blonde colors, I got them in Palm Springs blonde and I looked awful even though I loved the wig styles. I don't know why I denied my natural coloring and wanted to be an ash blonde :-( I'm like you and need warm colors, the auburn color range is for me! Your "Pretty Please" review was also very helpful for me and loved the Shaded Ice Pumpkin Spice on you. Thanks for your reviews, much appreciated!

My Vibe Sierra Bloom: I really like how you give a wig review AFTER it's been worn awhile. That's exactly what I have been looking for. I started wearing wigs for theatrical dance performances and found that they were much easier and way prettier than my own hair. I caught the wig bug! I need to know how they hold up as I am very physically active and some of the wigs I have purchased , although beautiful didn't hold up well with my life style. Thank you so much for your reviews!

Maranda Rock: This one is my #1 favorite on u! Never saw it look this cute or this natural on anyone else. I just love ur down to earth personality on videos. So natural and unscripted. Keep them coming I look forward to seeing which style comes next.

IveGotThis: This color looks fantastic on you! I’m sure the makeup and top you have on bring it all together. I’m a natural auburn with freckles and brown eye. I’m so glad to find your channel because you’re right there aren’t a lot of red reviews!! Cysterwigs does a great job of identifying the color combos. Thanks for this!!

TheAnnieG07: This is hands down the most gorgeous and natural looking wig I’ve ever seen! I would never know this is a wig!! The color really suits you! What did you do to the hairline to keep it away from the face? Can you show us?That is what really makes it look so natural. I’m wondering how the hairline might look in dark brown with fake looking knots showing? That pralines and cream color just lights up your whole face!

caseyjo2009: So cute! I’ll be waiting to see it in strawberry shortcake!

Dan C: Mila is beautiful on you! I do think the blonde brightens your face, even if it isn't your favorite color! JR is my favorite, but I didn't like Mila on myself. I never bother with wig grips or wig caps. I wear It Stays or Got2B and my hair has never slipped, even on roller coasters.

Barb K: Your reviews are very helpful. Thanks so much for all you do.

Deborah Luongo: I love that wig looks awesome on you you can even get away with that color. Thanks for sharing will look for it in the strawberry blond I think you said have a good weekend Stacy

Peggy Johnson: I absolutely think you look so much better in this color than any of the reds. This one is beautiful on you. I love your wig reviews

Julia Schall: I wear 14/26s10 all the time, it's my main color., and have her in Mila ( my favorite wig) but trust me it's definitely more strawberry than I like, on a straight wig like my new Marion. Perhaps the 10 rooting gives an overall more strawberry hue. The Color I see here, on my screen, I don't recognize, as the same color, but the I never have owned a straight peaches with cream. The only video Im even aware of using the non-rooted version 14/26 is this one and it really does appear to be a golden blonde . https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iUty9WjIAE4 Where as the color I'm familiar with, which truely is more strawberry, can be seen here on this video in the same environment. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gZ_bdq5OoMY

Susie Blue & the Lonesome Fellas: I love Pralines and Cream on you, it's such a gorgeous color. Did the "It Stays" damage the lacefront? Thank you

Vina Landsford: Looks 100% natural and gorgeous!

Janean: You are stinkin' adorable! My natural Irish Coppery Red hair turned dark in my 20's so I went blonde for decades, but now I'm thinking Estetica's 30/28/26 might be my ginger comeback color! Thank you!

Isabel S: Best review I've seen on Mila! It looks 100% real on you.

Wendy Callaghan: But that colour suits you! Great review! I’d love to try it! X from UK

Yvette Cabral: I guess I am continuing to watch one after another today. I do love you in the blonde as well as the reds but we all have our favorites. I can't wait to see you in a shorter wig with a scarf and a puffer vest or coat so we can see how you feel about that as well. I know you will have good feedback we can count on. I think you are my new favorite...

Jaci Fertik: I love the way you styled the top others have it so flat on top with part showing will work on mine when I get to get it just like you have it Jul does a good job on here too

Lisa Aguilar: Just added you, you are so detailed, really appreciate that, I'm really not looking for a fashion show of what your wearing, a honest review of a wig, and your great at it, also wanted to put out there if you ever sell any of your wigs I would be interested, thanks, keep up the great reviews.

minutes with marni: Just ordered one of these in Shaded Sun. Halfway through the summer, I've decided to grab me some blondes to see if I can possibly have any more fun.

Susie T Homemaker: Beautiful!!

StayNYourLane: I am so upset I didn't receive a notice about your new video! I actually was going back to watch radiant beauty again and seen the addition. Any who, you really must watch your video, compare your complexion to the other auburn color. I know you said you didn't feel comfortable, and for that its a no, but I have to say by viewing your home page where all your vids are posted, this wig looks the most realistic, the most flattering for your skin tone and you looked absolutely happy! Perhaps its the red lipstick! You are going to need a wig room like Taz! Hugs and Happy Holidays!

loveea other: but seriously that color really does look good on you I promise its true and the red lipstick finishes it off perfectly

Mary Sexton: I LOVE the color on you!

Danielle Kreiss: I love the color on you! How do you wash your wigs? I don’t want to ruin mine when I do wash them.

Linda Jansen: I agree mono parts and mono top rock the wig world!

Jaci Fertik: I just bought mila will DEFINITELY wear it like you and jill only because i love the curl on not so breck girl like Maximum imput might be got that color too don't have shaded cappuccino did not get the rooted because not crazy about Jon renau rooting

Linda Jansen: Watch out wiggery is addictive!

Kerstin Brown: You showed two red wigs during this video. It's on the left and you have sunglasses on with it. Which wig is that? I love your reviews by the way I'm a 23 circumference and I'm a natural strawberry blonde so your reviews are my goto! If you're interested in resale let me know

J A: I couldn’t see any red either. It does look really nice on you though, so no need to avoid wearing that colour range.

loveea other: you look fab chick I bought a bottle and have been afraid to use it Also I will try Jon Rene next I am sold thank you

Peggy Johnson: Oh almost forgot, I’ve had It stays for 2 months & Im afraid to try it. I don’t know if it’s good to glue down my lace front wigs. What do you think?

Christina: very natural looking, also you look quite nice in blonde...........just beautiul... have fun girl !

Kerstin Brown: Is Mila heat friendly? Some look like they have more curl.

Diane R-D: I love the Mila, but I would need to cut 1- 2 inches off of it. Would that ruin the wig?

Melody Higginbotham: So cute!

Liz Masi: That's odd. Mine has red in it. But mine is rooted also.

C C: Why is Mila not a good wig if someone is looking down on you? It has a mono top so doesn’t that look natural? Thank you.

Vickie Westbrook: How are you keeping the nape down

Linda Jansen: I love you as a blonde!

Lesa P: I am always on the lookout for red. very hard.

Jaci Fertik: Mila does not look good on me trouble is the lace front and it fits too SMALL nothing like EDITORS PICK just put that on and had to do nothing fits great NOSHINE FANTASTIC LACE FRONT will never buy Jon R lace front horrid

Ruth Hersh: How do you take your wig off with "it stays"? I'd be afraid that it would hurt the lace.

Jaci Fertik: Why do you and Jill wear the wig so good all the others that have this wig wear it flat on top I am so confused don't know what to buy this Mila or maximum input so confused
