Hey everyone. Thank you so much for being here today. My name is denise, i'm also known as heywig sister on instagram and facebook. Today, i'm here to bring you a wig review, i'm here to show you jon renau claire in the color shaded sun and the color code, for that is wait for it. 27T. 613. S8. A lot of numbers i'll break all of that down for you. So if you'd like to see this wig, this color one or both stick around and i'll show it all to you, claire is a beautiful dream, hair, dare i say, type wig by jon renau. I purchased this one off of the secondary market. It is brand new hasn't been worn, but i remember when claire was released um a year and a half ago, and i was very curious about her, but because i don't often wear wigs of this length with this much hair, which we're going to talk about. I just figured maybe someday a retailer, will reach out to me and give me an opportunity to review her, but she really wasn't on my list to purchase when i saw a wig sister selling her, though, for a really great price, i thought what the heck. I might as well see what i can do with the review and bring this out to my wig sisters. I don't think there are a ton of reviews of claire out there actually, so i'm really excited to bring this one to you. Let'S take a look at her from all sides before i start talking about her, i always got ta check and make sure i didn't wander out of the screen. When i turn around, you may be wondering what i meant by the secondary market if you're new to wigs there's a lot of vernacular and terminology that you might not be familiar with. I have a lot of videos out there for new wig wearers. I also have a website with some blog posts - i'm not super active on my website, but i do have a blog post, uh titled trustworthy resources to purchase wigs. I actually link that in the description of most of my videos, if it's not sponsored by a seller, then i do have that in my videos. So it will be in the description of this one and i break down different places to purchase wigs, whether they're in-person shops, online retailers and the secondary market. So if you're curious, what i mean by that check out that blog post it'll teach you a lot about your different options for purchasing wigs all right. First thing i have to do is warn you guys. Claire is heavy. She has tons and tons of hair. This is super dense and thick. This is what i would call a high density wig. I rarely review wigs with this much hair. So please keep that in mind if you're overwhelmed by hair a lot, and you find a lot of wigs to be too much hair for you. This one shouldn't even be on your list right now. Maybe someday you'll be ready for a hair. With this, my wig with this much hair, but it's definitely a lot of hair now, if you're on the flip side and you're always struggling because you feel like wigs, just don't have enough hair for you, claire has a ton i mean i cannot get over how Full this one is: it's not poofy, it's not like. It'S got a ton of permatease, but it has so much hair. I mean i do find myself just kind of wanting to do this because it's just a different sensation. When you're used to wearing lower density pieces, lots and lots of hair on this one, if you're here to see more about this color go down in the description of this video, i do have time stamps and i'll be able to direct you straight to the parts Where i talk about color, i will get to color in a little bit and then i will get outside. So you will be able to see this color indoors and outdoors, of course, you'll see it throughout the whole video. But i will talk more in depth about this shaded sun color in just a little bit. So claire is uh surprisingly comfortable because of all this hair, but this one would be hot. I do think if you struggle with being overheated with wigs this one has so much hair. I think that would be a real challenge for you now, the positive of of a wig. With this much hair, you will have no worries whatsoever about ever seeing wefting on it. There'S just it's takes so much to get down to that wefting that that's not a fear. I also think this one could be really great for updos. So if you're, looking for wedding, hair and you're, not in the market for maybe a hand-tied cap, which is this one - has wefting all back here, then claire could be a great option. I mean, i think, if you get creative with clips and bobby pins and blingy things, you can do all kinds of things by just clipping this up and claire has these beautiful loose waves? It'S not super curly, but these beautiful, loose waves that, i think, would look so good in fancy updos and i mean she looks fabulous even down. So i think that is a real positive. Claire has a full mono top, so you can part clear anywhere you want on the top of your head and then a lace front. Let'S take a look at that lace front. It'S really good jon renau does not always impress me with their lace fronts. Look at that they did a great job with this one. I think one thing in in in their favor on this one is the color, so the color is quite light and therefore you don't have dark knots. If you were to get this one in a darker brunette or with a darker rooting, then you might be able to see some of those knots here. So that is always a caution. Um i do think sometimes their darker brunettes can look a little naughty. So you'll just want to know how to deal with that naughty. Wigs aren't a deal breaker. They shouldn't be a deal breaker if you're, if you're in it for the long haul. Unless you can afford to pay a lot of money for wigs or wait till what you're looking for comes in stock, a little bit of makeup, a little bit of powder really takes care of that. I do show that in a tip tuesday - and i know there are other videos out there that talk about that as well - this wig fits me like a typical john renault wig. It is a true to average cap. I find that i get a lot of extra cap in the crown on jon renau, wigs this one isn't too bad actually, but sometimes what i find and look at my measurements they're in the description as well. That will help you to gauge how you compare to me, but sometimes what i find with these full mono top wigs and then, if they're, a little bit too big for me, is i get like a cone head effect right up here because of how the monofilament Isn'T super flexible, and so it doesn't mold to your head as well as a wefting wood, and then it kind of gives me a weird bump. I don't really notice that one in this wig and i think it's because of the amount of hair there's so much hair, that it already kind of looks a little full and it helps to weigh that down. Surprisingly, so that's my only reason why. I don't think that happens to me, which it happens in a lot of the john renault monotop wigs. As far as permatease goes, there is a little bit i mean i can feel it when i do this. I know that it's there there's crimpy fibers, but there is not super poofy pillowy permatease. So i would call this a moderate, permatease wig. I can feel it all back here. There'S obviously, none up here, because that's all of the monofilament and sometimes what jon renau will do - is they'll put a lot more hair density on that monofilament, which can give it the appearance of being poofy without permatease. I'M not really seeing that, but she is for for sure, really full all throughout i'll. Take the cap off and show you that in just a sec, but definitely between the permatease, she does have again moderate some pillowy, not super pillowy. If you are a permatease fan, this one might even straddle the line of not having quite enough for you, but if you don't like permatease at all, this one's got probably too much for you. So it's really that middle of the road kind of permatease and and as far as coverage goes. This is typical for jon renau. You can see my bio hair here. I don't get the best side coverage with jon renau wigs, but the ear tabs do come down. Quite low, which i like and normally would give me better coverage, but on john renault, for whatever reason i don't get super coverage here, which really just makes it harder to do like styling, where i pull it way back. This lace front goes from here to here. So it's not all the way down to the ear tabs, but quite often lace fronts will be just like this, so it is a little bit longer than that which does give you a little bit more styling flexibility than you might otherwise have. Let me show you the cap. These hair fibers are kind of thicker a little bit coarse, they're, not super light and wispy. That makes it so that it lays a little bit heavier and gives it a bit of a drier feel. So it's the the hair fibers to me. These are typical, john renault fibers they're a little bit on the dry side, not doll like or anything like that, but just a little bit thicker and on the dry side there you go. You'Ve got your full mono top. There'S your lace front, this right here is really common in a wig, with a full mono top it's a little bit of a reinforcement between the lace front and that give it a little bit more strength a little bit more protection. Sometimes what can happen, though, is you can see that line if you've got a super defined part? I'M not noticing that so much on this one. I like that. It'S way back so you've got a lot of kind of a lot of this before you would ever see that, but again you can cover it with a little bit of makeup. If that bothers you, there are the ear tabs giant, ear, tabs very substantial, extended, nape, velcro adjusters, and when i do this, that's a thick head of hair right. There definitely has a lot of hair it's over 5 ounces. So this is a heavy heavy wig overall she's, beautiful and stylish and fancy and really really cute. I like this wig a lot. One thing i am noticing. I can't see that part line very much and that's because there is so much hair on this one. If you're someone who likes to kind of have that defined part line, because you think it makes it look a little bit more realistic, this would be one you're, probably gon na have to pluck a little bit in order to get that, i show that in a Tip tuesday, if you search denise sheets pluck, i think you'll be able to find that video and that's not again uncommon and shouldn't be a deal breaker for you at all. Let'S take a look at these curls one more time and i'm going to talk about this unique color, all right, shaded, sun, i'm just going to have it off my head for a moment. While i show you this and i'll explain to you what this color code means, so we have got. Let'S read that color code. Again it is a 27 t613 s8. So a 27 is a strawberry blonde and the t means tipped. So you have got a base of a strawberry blonde and it is also tipped look at that you can it's very obvious that the tips are much lighter than the rest of it very obvious. A 613 is a french vanilla blonde. So, actually, that's what's what's what it's tipped with, so we've got the strawberry blonde base and then the french vanilla blonde is down there tipping this wig and then there's some of that french, vanilla, blonde sort of highlighted in it's not a heavily highlighted piece though, and Then you have a rooting of an 8 which is a light chestnut brown. In this case it is definitely a light rooting. This is not a dark root at all. It is very well blended in with the rest of it, so it just it just seems like it's a little bit darker and then it gradually gets lighter. It'S not a super obvious route by any stretch of the imagination. So if you kind of don't like your rooted blondes, this one i'm having a hard time considering a rooted blonde, it's more of the graduation of color, almost an ombre. But you know these tips are quite obvious and if they're not they don't go up super high. Just giving you guys a good look at that color, this is going to come across just a little bit darker on video, with all of my lighting than it actually does in person. It'S really really a good root, not dark, not stark, not super obvious! You can see those tips, it is a warm blonde. It is definitely on the sort of yellow side of blondes, especially down here kind of as it's all blended. It'S you know that strawberry. I don't think i seeded this right with that strawberry blonde. It does give it that warmth. It doesn't pull really a lot of red into my eye, but it's definitely a warm yellow kind of blonde. I know some people love this color, so if you're one of them, please tell us your description of the color, and so you can help out a wig sister. Try to understand it a little bit better, all right, everybody! Let me get outside and show you this one outside. I think you know between the hair. You can tuck, it i'm afraid my battery's about to die here. I forgot to change it before i started. You can tuck it, but there is so much hair on this. One, it does make it just a little bit of a challenge, there's just not a lot of room for tucking, because it's kind of thick on those sides. But if you felt like this was too heavy in the front, it does kind of lay to the front. Quite a bit you can either take steam to it. To give this front a little bit of lift again, it's really heavy a lot of hair or you can just do a little bit of a twist and put a clip in. So you can absolutely handle the fact that it sort of lays in your face a little bit. It is an extreme, though i've had much worse. I'Ve had reviews where i struggled to do the review because it hung in my face so much. This is really not doing that all right, let's get outside, so you can see this color outside. Let me know if you have any questions, i think i have an out of the box. This is pretty much out of the box and because it was a secondary market, i often don't do out of the boxes because someone else got that out of the box. If i have it i'll, take it tack it on the end and again really really cute style. If you can do a very full head of hair, let's get outside all right. Everyone here we are outside with shaded sun, very sunny, very windy, very cold. I should have a jacket on, but i think this is our last super cold day and then it's gon na start warming up cross our fingers. Okay, i want you to see that root well at least you're. Getting to see how this one moves that wind um. So if it would pause for a second here just so you can see the tips there, i'm just trusting that you're, seeing what you need to see so windy. Let me see if i can turn here. So it's definitely sorry you guys. Oh, it's definitely kind of that yellowy blonde. Oh, i think it's dying down a little bit for a sec, so take a look at those really light tips again that rooting not a dark real, a really dark root at all all right. Well, that's about all the best i can do with this wind. Hopefully you saw what you needed thanks for watching you

L S: Claire is sooooo beautiful. Definitely a lot of hair, but looks like the movement is good and she looks pretty realistic to me. Love her wave pattern. She looks great on you. Thanks for in depth review, appriciate all you do to keep us all very well informed.

Barbara Stimac: So beautiful on you! Claire was one of the first wigs I got. I have her in Shaded Peach. It felt like SO MUCH hair on me when I was first starting out. It really is gorgeous.

Mint: Great informative presentation as always! Thank you Denise.

Roe Vega: I’ve had my eye on Claire. The color is beautiful.

Binger Singer: Wonderful info Denise! Not my color or style but so worth watching I have always struggled with pillowy wigs! My first one was Scarlett by JR and Jackson by Noriko! Did I go right to my Achilles heel or what? After 10 years of thinning hair loss I was so overwhelmed but I remember wearing Scarlett to Easter services so excited to have hair. I saved and finally after a year got RW Editors Pick and wow!! So much hair. It is sitting in its box. Last week my 6 th Girl Mono arrived after waiting 3 months for Light Bernstein Rooted!!!! It has so much hair on the part that it will not stay out of my eyes. I am just sick about it because obviously GM has been a big hit for me! This long awaited GM was not worth the wait and has me baffled. I have never had success at thinning a wig but nothing else will help this heavy hair stay out of my eyes. It is not a matter of steam or redirecting the fibers as they just flop from shear ( pun intended) weight Have you seen this on your GMs?? Color and curl are great!

Jean Scofield: You rock that color and style! I think it looks great on you with your skin tone and the density works with your face shape. Great look for you!

Lisa Burdge - Southern Gurl Budgets: So beautiful. love the color and waves.

Lisa M: Oh my word- I dont know how you read my mind- looked at this one! Yesterday !!!!even had it in my cart- but then said -I really need to zone in on the color (Looking for a pale blonde without harsh roots)* thank you for explaining all thats involved l*there weren’t many reviews on this as you mentioned so appreciated this one** and all the ones you do!

avery N: Oooo - it looks good on you Denise! I couldn't pull this off nearly as well.

Michelle Diekman: So pretty on you! Great Color Hugs, ❤

LizinMalta: I'm not sure if you will remember but some time ago I told you that I had contacted several well known wig companies with regards to creating something very similar to the one I am wearing in my profile pic which I bought after seeing your review of it (Vivica Fox Orlando). Wellll....drum roll please.....I am very pleased to tell you that I have heard back from the Founder/Director of Belle Tress, Julie Min several times and the latest is that the wig is 'in production' and should be available in September, she also told me it will be called TWIX....how exciting is that! X

Patty Carosi: Great information Denise she is beautiful.

Helene Makuch: Hi Denise I sent you an email. Wondering if you received it?

SomeItaliangirl: very pretty

Clara: Jon Renau seems to make their wigs really thick? But they make lovely wigs for sure ❣️
