How To Retouch Lace Wig Application | Sleep In Wig Prep | Fake Scalp Full Lace Wig

We made it midweek and i'm gon na show you my maintenance, routine, with keeping up with the wig application. Today, we're going to touch up the hairline and show you my night routine on how to protect the hair and how i restyle thursday make sure you come back, because i will be addressing all the questions you all had about this wig in thursday's video. In the meantime, let's jump right into this video happy tuesday. Today'S video, we are doing a hairline touch up. If you watch my video from sunday, then you know i started a whole new series, all about being consistent with my wigs. This week's hair, i'm working with today comes from pretty luxe hair. Make sure you check out that video so that you can get all the information about? What'S going on with my channel and also this hair that we will be working with today, i made a stop past sally's to pick up some of my favorite products and also some new products. This video is going to have so many helpful tips in it. So make sure you keep on watching, so this wig is from pretty luxe hair. I have been wearing it for a couple of days now. I have not curled it since sunday um. So i highly recommend you go check out that video to see the install and everything just got up this morning. So basically, this is how the hair looks a few days after and not styling it. So this is a full lace: full fake scalp wig, with the full lace, fake, scalp wig. You get fake scalp in the front fake scalp in the back. So you can part this wig anywhere you want to. I did glue this wig down with wig adhesives. I thought this wig would be perfect for long-term wear because you get so much versatility, you get so much parting, so you can part this wig anywhere on it because of the versatility of the lace and also the versatility of the fake scalp. Let'S start off with the hairline and then i'm going to restyle this wig, the hairline looks really good. It'S still very secure. This wig does come with the pre-plucked hairline, so this is how we are looking right now after a couple of days - and i hope that's focused - the hairs can get into the glue that's around the hairline and then it can just be messy. So i had areas on the lace that is lift what i would do, i'm not going to go back in with a wig adhesive, because that would be too messy. I would take like a hairspray or a gel, and what i'm going to do is just kind of touch up the areas that are lifted right around the hairline, not too much. I went to sally's and i repurchased one of my favorite blow dryers and you guys know i've been using this for a long time. My last one blew out so i had to get it again because i feel like this dryer here is perfect for hairline application. So i'm going to take this brush and i will be brushing the hair out of the wig adhesive, because a lot of times when you tie down the hairline or if you just are laying down at night or whatever the hair can go into that wig adhesive And looks so messy, so i'm going to just take this edge brush and brush upward and remove that hair out of the glue and also any hair strands that may be lined up around the rim of the lace. Don'T want that. You can also use the back of the edge brush the little comb just be careful not to rip the lace later on. I'M going to show you everything i use for the night time to keep the hair looking good. Add some curls through it today and i'm going to be using the wand curler look at that parting space, but with this full lace, fake, scalp wig, you can do so many different styles with it. So these two products here are the products i picked up from sally's this one right here. If you want your curls to last longer, i'm trying this one out for the first time. I think it's like a hairspray. It'S called memory, locking primer mist this one. I really like that. It says that it's for highlighted, color treated or natural hair is cruelty free. So we're going to apply this one first and just brush that through and the highlights on this wig is so pretty they're. So simple, it's not doing too much and then i also will add a little bit of hair serum. This is the bio silk all right. Let'S curl this hair today, i'm using my t3 wand curler volume. Much like that. There'S a lot of volume there so me spray it down with the bed head. This is the full of it spray and the hair is still so soft. It'S so beautiful, like this is one of my favorite, wigs so far style everything about this wig, i absolutely love. I think i want to switch up my parting. I really like the side part a lot i'll tell you. What, if you want to see me part it differently thursday, when i come back with this wig again, i will switch up the parting for you all, i'm going to take my hot comb and straighten out this hair, and this hot comb is way too hot hold On i'm gon na go ahead and skip to the the part of video, where i show you all how i protect my hair at night now in this scene that you're about to see this is actually the hair combed out after my previous style. So it's not after this style just want you guys to be aware of that stay tuned, because i'm going to show you how i minimize frizz throughout the day. If you want to see all of that, just keep on watching how i put my wig up to protect it at night, how i take care of the hairline, so the glue application can last throughout the week, and also how i just keep the hairs today was Very very windy: it was so windy outside. It was pointless for me to even do anything. I love this wig. It'S breathable, i don't feel like i'm wearing any wig at all. To be honest, the hairline feels amazing. The glue is not too tight and i just absolutely love like what i'm working with right now. So i'm going to put this hair up for tonight, take a little bit of bio silk and go down the ends of the hair. I'M going to take my paddle brush and start the ends and brush out the tangles, and i won't wash this hair until i take it off as far as the curls and how long they held up, i do feel like they did drop by the day. They turn into waves and i just brushed out the rest of them, which i don't have a problem with i'm going to just brush it back. So i can see the hairline. So i'm going to use this scrunchie, and this right here is a satin scrunchy, hair scrunchie and i'm going to pull the hair up into a ponytail. I like to keep the hair out of my face when i'm sleep at night. I just want to be comfortable and i'm going to take the hair scrunchie and put it on, and this scrunchie is good for the hair, because it's not going to pull it. It'S not going to get tangled or anything so, i'm going to twist the hair like so twist it all the way down to the ends by pulling it up and wrapping it. Just like that, and i'm going to take a hair clip and just clip it at the top. Of course you want to protect the hairline, so i'm going to take this wig grip and i'm going to place this around the hairline connect it in the back with the velcro. It'S also soft on the hairline. I always wear bonnets at night. Even if i have the hair pinked up like this, because i sleep with the covers and my hair can be all over the place - this is all satin bonnet, i'll use this on my head, and i also use it on my daughter's hair before we go to Bed a lot of times, if you can end up, you know losing your bonnet at night, while you're sleeping i like this one, because it has an adjustable strap in the back, so you can tighten it up, so you just take it and it is satin on The inside and also the outside, taking it like that, come in different colors, so i'm going to adjust it by just pulling and you don't have to worry about the strap hanging you kind of just tuck that strap you have it for a night. If you don't want to wear your bonnet, please use a silk or satin pillowcase. This one is silk and it's so soft. This will come in handy times where i really just don't want to wear or just walk around in a bunny, so i will be sure to put these below be sure, to check the description box read up on these products, because they're really really good. That'S what i do for my night routine as far as like i said i am in love with this style. One thing i haven't noticed with this: wig is flyaways and as far as spritz, i don't really notice a lot of frizz. However, because of humidity things, can you know when i was in sally's? I found these and they are the smooth criminal anti-frizz wipes and i thought they were really cool, so we're gon na try these out for today, and i will update you guys, thursday, on how it went so you get 15 individual wipes, which is perfect. Okay, so basically you just take it out of the packaging like so, and it looks like this and i do have like some type of clear. I don't know what it is. It'S clear liquid on it, you just wipe it down the hair like so hmm. It'S almost like putting a hair serum on your hair. I will only do this once a week. I wouldn't even do this every day.
