Most Gorgeous Human Hair Wig: Gamini Wigs Sophia Review

Hello, everybody and welcome back to my youtube channel on the art of alopecia. For those who don't know me, my name is marcy and i have an autoimmune condition called alopecia universalis. Basically, what that means is my immune system mistakenly attacks, my hair follicles, and that is why i am completely bald and balling throughout my body and on this youtube channel. We talk all about hair loss, we do lots of wig reviews, tips, tricks, tutorials, q, a's. All of that fun stuff. I i'm also very active on two other social media platforms. It'S been a few weeks since i've last posted um school has been hectic, work has been hectic, life has been crazy um, but now i'm back i'm back with another big review, i'm so excited about this one um. I have a wig washing tutorial coming up soon. But without further ado, let's get into the let's get into the real reason why you clicked on this video? I just want to say how much i appreciate you guys coming back and for those who are new. I hope you guys stay for long, because i promise you. I will not disappoint you with this review. Okay, also before i begin just a little disclaimer for you guys, i feel like this is very important for me to say um everything that you hear me saying in this video is a hundred percent, my honest opinions and my honest review. I would never be unauthentic and unhonest. I would never collaborate with a company um, who mediates what i say and what i don't see in my reviews. I have built the ah the art of alopecia out of authenticity, promising um myself and to my followers to be my true self and to deliver um important and real information um. I always tend to you, know state like the negatives and the positives to each wig. In each of my reviews, so that's just me everything that you hear me saying i promise is a hundred percent real and honest um. I would never deliver false information to you guys. I love you guys so much and i know how difficult hair loss can be and how vulnerable you might feel when you're choosing your first wig. So i would never put someone in the position um where i am showing off this wig. That is not truly worthwhile. Anyway, back to the video guys, i just thought that's important for me to share so for today's video, i'm gon na be reviewing a new company that i have never tried before. They are very new to the wig game and to the wig world and don't be fooled by how new they are because their wigs are phenomenal. They are so so beautiful and i'm just honored to be here today, um, to show you all this gorgeous unit and to introduce you to this company, because i promise you, you won't be disappointed. So the reason why i'm gon na spell out this name is because i'm gon na i've been contemplating how to say this name this entire day, and i maybe should have asked for other people's opinions um. But i thought i'd be able to figure it out. On my own, so the spelling is g-a-m-i-n-i. So the minute that i saw this name like oh it's gemini, but then i saw that it has an a so does that mean it's jam, gemini gemini so did their gemini or maybe it's gaminy. I don't know um, but i will link everything down below you. Don'T have to worry about the spelling, but let's just go with gemini: let's go with gemini, okay, so gemini wigs is based in the united states. I believe, and they have kindly sent me um this gorgeous sofia unit. I am so excited, i'm just so excited okay. So first you guys know that i like to do a little bit of an unboxing. I don't know if you've seen my tick tock or my instagram um reel, but i did do a little unboxing as part of a sneak peek. But this is the box. It is huge, but i love how big it is because the wig just lays so flat. It'S a short wig um, so it has enough room just to like spread its hairs if that makes any sense at all um. So this is the box. It'S a very sturdy box. Um didn't get damaged in the mail just gorgeous gorgeous design. It'S one of those envelope boxes, so it has lots of security like that bam and the inside bam like that is a show stopper. If you ask me um, so this is how the wig um looked like when i opened it for the first time. It sat very, very flat had some tissue paper inside to hold the wig's shape it didn't have any kind of like cards or goodies or anything, it's just very simple, um, i'm not sure if my packaging would be different from yours, um but yeah. I just came in with a wig and i'm so excited to show you the wig, because that's why you guys are here so introducing miss sophia. I just want to emphasize that i am in front of the natural lighting in front of a huge window, so this is what it looks like in front of the natural lighting. Look at those highlights: look at those curls, oh my goodness, i'm so excited. I'M gon na give you a few specs before i try her on. So i know off the top of my head that her name is sophia and it is available in small, medium and large. She is a 16 inch, um front lace, so her lace goes from ear, tab to ear tab to the middle of the construction and then the rest is wefted um. She is okay, i'm so happy. It has the color on here, because you guys know how i struggle with describing the color, so she is a dark blonde shadow root on neutral blonde, with warm lowlights. Look at that. Oh, my goodness, like the most stunning blonde, i've probably ever seen um. As i said, she is 16 inches in length, so literally the cutest length ever she has subtle layers and face framing layers um for a more natural look which i love. I love when wigs come already. Pre-Cut not pre-cut to the point where you can't really do anything else moving forward, i hate when wigs come in and there's just like no layers no no face framing. I know that kind of gives you the opportunity to do so, but i love a wig that you can just look absolutely fabulous in and look very natural and layers is the way to go, because no one's here is just naturally the same length. All around is a multi-directional parting, meaning you can part her wherever the lace is so i have her on um kind of an off-center more to the side part, but you can part her in the middle. You can part her on the other side, which is fantastic. She has bleached knots and a plucked hairline with baby hairs guys these knots are so invisible. I can't wait to throw this on because it is so so natural um. She is the highest quality brazilian hair guys. I can't get better than that. I'M telling you she is the softest hair. She smells so good. Oh i'm just so excited are two clips. If you haven't seen already um, so you can easily remove these. If you don't need them um, and then they also have adjustment straps at the back, which is fantastic, um, ear tabs and it air dries nearly straight. So those are all the specs, let's throw her on um. So here's just an up close of the cap construction. I'M so excited to throw her on, and this is a size medium. It actually fits quite small um. So keep that in mind, maybe just where i have the adjustment straps. Oh, my goodness, i got this wig in the mail and it literally made my entire day. I was really worried that it was going to be too blonde for me and then i got it and i was like holy crap. This is the blonde wig that i never knew i needed so here she is come on guys. Does she not look like she's growing out of my own scalp like it really truly looks like that? I am absolutely amazed. Also don't mind this little cut. I tried to put concealer on it. Didn'T really work. I didn't think it was gon na work. I think i might have like bumped my head on something, and i don't really remember but guys - miss sophia is absolutely stunning. Her density, i don't actually know her density. Maybe i already said it. I don't know, but her density is very low. It'S a very natural natural density, natural cut natural color, i'm going to give you guys an up close of the hairline this one. So look how invisible those knots are it just simply doesn't get any better than that. This is the kind of wig that i feel just a hundred percent, confident just throwing on without any glue or adhesive, because the lace lays so flat and the knots are so small and professionally bleached. The point that no one would be able to to detect that this is a wig unless they are staring at me. This close, which i doubt a stranger, will get that close to you it just it flows. So naturally it looks like it's actually growing out of my scalp like there is some natural volume to it and i am just blown away. I just love how i can kind of just like flip the hair like this and it's going to move with me. Obviously, it's a wig, so if you want to change the part, you do have to train it, but like come on, i can just like keep going. Obviously, it's not tightened too well to do that, but, like i'm just having fun flipping my hair, there's like with this wig there's so many opportunities just for movement like you can move it in whichever way and it's going to look absolutely phenomenal and natural. It'S like, if you wanted to do like a half up, half down like how amazing, like throw out a few baby hairs like that. Oh this wig is just so natural and i just can't get over it. So, obviously, since it is only a front lace and not a full lace, there are some limitations to that um, so you wouldn't be able to put it up in a high pony just because of the cap construction. So if that was full lace back there, then you could glue it down, but since it is wefted you can't really um and if you try and um tie the hair back, you might be able to see the wefts. I don't know if you guys can see that, but anyway, you'd be able to see this like the layers of the wefts and stuff like that um. So you can't necessarily put it up in a high pony, but you can put it in a half up. Half down, which is literally my favorite style anyway, like how simple is this wig just to throw on and they do have the adjustment straps at the back, which is fantastic, so you can kind of tighten it with as much security or as little security as you Want now that i've kind of given you the rundown on how much i love this wig um, i did wear her yesterday. I just want to share my thoughts so in terms of comfortability, i think the cap has a few itchy spots um. So obviously, me being a bald woman with no hair, there is no reason for me to have these clips in which you can remove. They are just sewn in and they are super easy to remove it's just a matter of finding little scissors and cutting them off. Um, so i think that will definitely take away a bit of the itchiness um. I think it definitely would take away the itchiness. I think in terms of the back. Just the material that's being used is a little itchy at the back of myself. So i think one thing that i would recommend um to this company is maybe just putting either like some silicone or maybe um some like satin material, just so that this kind of um, i don't even know what kind of material it is just so that it's Not harsh on the scalp, it doesn't like rub the wrong way and i feel like with silicone um, then that would secure it even more um and even maybe having some silicone ear tabs as well for more security and comfort. Silicone is just like absolutely fantastic because it gives you that grip you need, but it also gives you the comfort that you need so it's kind of like a win-win in all situations in terms of the cap size. As i said at the beginning, the medium actually fits quite small. The circumference fits perfectly, but there is a few um extra material wefts at the back um. That does stick out a little bit. It'S not noticeable um, but obviously that is due to the fact that it is a medium and i usually wear a small um so be sure to maybe check out their sizing charts and be sure to measure your head properly to ensure that you get the proper Wig the proper wig size um and if you have any questions, feel free to contact them or you can contact me as well. I just want to show you guys the back like look at those highlights. Oh my goodness, they're not highlights low lights. Oh, my goodness, i really got ta learn my terminology. I don't think i have anything negative to say about this wig, because this is truly a spectacular wig and has easily become one of my favorites. I just think you know maybe giving the option of um having the clips in or having the clips out. Um would be a great option on the website um. Just because i know it could probably cause people some anxiety taking them out if they don't necessarily need them, um and again, maybe having a bit more comfortable material at the back, so that it's not so itchy at the back um, maybe having a resistance band that Hugs your head, that would add more security, but this is just such an amazing wig. Just to throw on and out you go. It looks so natural, so natural to the human hot eye. It has so much movement so much opportunity to do like updo stars. Probably do like some french braids at the front. Obviously you can't do um. You can't put your hair up in a full pony um in a high pony. I mean um, but you can do a lot of half up half down styles, i'm just so impressed. I love this wig so much. I think everything about it is just perfection other than the fact that it's a little bit itchy at um, the back and on the ear tabs. I would highly recommend this wig. I am so obsessed - oh my goodness um, but just like my recommendation for not only this wig but to any wigs um. If your wig isn't as secure as you would like it to be, you can always get one of those wig grips. They do have the wig grips um that have um like the lace parting um. So basically you would just put on your wig grip. It'S like the circumference of your head and um, tighten it to how you want it to be, and then basically the lace part would just sit underneath your part. So that would add a lot of security um in terms of like itchiness. If you find like a wig too itchy, there are some like a softie caps that you can wear even wearing like a wig cap, can add a little bit more comfort. I know for people with like dryer sensitive skin um. That could definitely work. I sometimes even still wear a wig cap, even though i don't need it. It just depends on the wig. Oh i'm in love. I'M sure this wig review is going to be so long and i'm so sorry, but there's just like so much to say.
