Dry Scalp Wash Day | Winter Hair Care With Royal Oils | Kinksmas Day 3

Hey guys welcome back to my channel it's lexi and in today's video i'm talking to you guys about some winter scalp care winter hair care, basically a simple three-step wash day routine, to set yourself up for a nice week of moisture and a just a healthy scalp. Healthy hair, routine, real simple, no need for long talking, i'm partnering with head and shoulders with their royal oils collection to bring you guys. Today'S quick and easy video and i'm actually really excited because my best best friend she has type 4 natural hair, and she told me that she's been using this collection for well over a year now, but i hadn't had the chance to try it. You guys know. I'M all over the place and then, when they reached out to me for this collaboration i was like, oh well. I already heard good things. It'S all over the internet. My best friend uses your products in her shower right now. Why would i not check this out? Tried it out, fell in love, and here we are, i think they are really easy to access really effective, especially if you have scalp issues and if you live in a cold climate where your scalp is drier during this time of year. This could be really helpful. So before we get into my quick bathroom wash day routine, i want to show you guys the star of the show for me on today and that's going to be their water activated, scalp scrub. So i was challenged to do a little at home. Science, experiment, okay and i'm going to record this on the first try, because i want to make it as effective and as honest as possible, so they challenged me to do a lemon demonstration in my sink in my home i went and i bought a lemon and I'M going to use their water activated scalp scrub, to see what she's talking about to see if she really can get oil and dirt and residue off of your scalp. I tested it out on this lemon. So, let's just dive in to the demo real, quick and then we'll hop into my wash day. So the first thing i'm doing here is i'm applying two squirts of an all-day wear foundation. It'S actually my shade, okay and i'm going to rub that all over the lemon just to basically simulate you know dirt and oil and product that can be left on your scalp. After a week or a few weeks of not cleansing, then i'm going to apply a little bit of the royal oils. Scalp scrubs, the top half of the lemon, and i'm just gon na rub that in a little bit. Just like how i would on my scalp and then, let's put it under the water and see what happens. The point would be for the scalp scrub side to come out cleaner than the non scalp scar side. To really show that the silica beads in the scrub remove the makeup, as they would remove dirt and oil and build up from your scalp. So after i did that i was like okay, i'm excited. I want to try her okay. I want to see what she's talking about, because i really have been having dry scalp more recently than usual, and i think that it's partially due to stress because miami doesn't get cold okay. So it's definitely not the winter weather. But i do feel, like it's stress, related, so i'm actually looking forward to trying something that could cleanse my scalp done a scab scrub before and i actually really like the feeling of scrubbing and exfoliating my scalp before cleansing and what i like about this scalp scrub From the royal oils collection is that the beads are soft and they're small and it's not very abrasive on my scalp, but i definitely did feel a difference. So i applied that all over my scalp rubbed that in and then i went ahead and i rinsed that out. Basically, a big part of what it does is that it has micellar water in the formula and that's supposed to help break up the buildup and oil off of the scalp, and it's also mineral oil, sulfate, free and paraben free. So after i rinsed out the scalp scrub, i went in with the moisture boost shampoo. This is also supposed to help with itchy scalp scalp dryness, and it also is supposed to be a little bit moisturizing and not drying to your hair and, as you guys can see in the video, my hair was so shiny, still bouncy. The curls were popping when i rinsed out the shampoo, and i was ready for moisture. So i went in with the royal oils moisture renewal conditioner, and this also was supposed to help balance essential, scalp moisture and give you long-lasting protection and moisture. Royal oils is rooted in science and it supports the next generation of black female scientists. All the products are infused with coconut oil, and this collection definitely provides long, lasting scalp relief and essential moisture. I can definitely stand behind that in my personal experience with these products. I did have a really easy breezy wash day, as you guys can see, and i talk about all the time how a good condition a good weekly conditioning treatment is going to really set you up for a good week. If you don't add that moisture in your conditioning step before styling and before applying moisturizers and creams and oils during your wash day, your hair isn't going to stay moisturized as long as it possibly could throughout the week. So these three products in combination really gave me a nice clean, scalp left my hair soft moisturized, and i really had a good experience with them. I was happy because i had already heard good things from someone that i love and that i trust within my best friend, if you're watching fabiola. Okay, i get why you used it and i really would genuinely recommend this stuff to you guys. You already know me: i do not promote things that i don't know work and i like so, if you do have dry scalp, if you lift someone that's cold, this could be a good routine for you after i went ahead and rinsed out the conditioner. I just applied a thick creamy leave-in, a thick creamy butter, a bunch of jumbo plaits like eight or like six, and here we are three days later with moisturized soft hair. My scalp feels great and everything feels really good. So let me know in the comment section if you've tried anything from the royal oils collection. I know a lot of people love these products. I'Ve seen a few of my favorite influencers use these products on their protective styles, just to help them let the style last longer and to help their scalp not be dry in the midst of them having their hair styled. So i'm looking forward to my next style, which should be coming up really soon. You know we need a little break every now and again, i'm looking forward to trying these products out on my hair, while it's you know, tucked under a protective style.
