I Got My Hairline Microbladed For My Receding Hairline

I finally got my hairline microbladed after you guys requested it in my past #CatchinupwithChris episode where I got my eyebrows microbladed. After having the 2 girls I have gone through extreme hair loss and also naturally have a receding hairline. I went to Hera Permanent Makeup again and Elysia did such a subtle but noticeable job. I almost always fill in my hairline with shadows and powders whenever I am on camera since I'm pretty self-conscious about my forehead. What do you guys think? Do you like the results??

BUSINESS INQUIRIES: [email protected]

Oh, no, I'm just so. I am back here at Hara permanent makeup in k-town, I'm here to do my touch-up for my brows. It'S been about thank like two three weeks since I've got to them done today. I'M not gon na make it too dark anyway, and then you feel it a little darker. Then we can't fix it two weeks later: okay, okay and then I'm also gon na. Do my hairline today, which I'm super excited about. So my hair is pulled back. I have been thinking about it since the last time I discovered it, and I think I really wanted to do it. I think I'm gon na feel really good about it, so so why? Why do you want to get the hairline it's because younger or something? No, I think I had a lot of hair loss. Pregnancy yeah me too yeah, like especially with photos. I look bald in photos, if I I mean can't tell it as much in person but in photos when I pull my hair back. If I don't fill it fill it in, I look like I'm bald. I usually fill it in maybe about like an inch or two, maybe probably more like an inch like here yeah and then sometimes you could tell it looks like powder and then like. If I interesting, if I like, touch my hairline, you know rub all like rub off on that face which usually happen couldn't so forgetful. I feel your be something wrong with five heads now, if there's something that could help you, try it out. Yeah I'll, see you. I can't wait and I'm so excited so right now we are drawing we're drawing the hairline okay Jamie first, so we're gon na join you together, yeah we're gon na draw yeah Hawaiian upper work and I have the hair right. Yeah yeah a lot of people. Do this really good what you can find in a more light palette? Each Ogletree said the front we're gon na make it lighter and then make it it's like a gradiation and make it darker towards the back to make it look more natural. This is so much easier than like hair impact, so it's filled in over here, whereas here it's pretty sparse, there's like no hair there again Modi is gon na pop up in the second game young. So usually, with my hair pulled back, I always powder it in with like a little powder that I'd carry around for my hairline, but she was saying that with powders you could clog up your pores a lot, your hair pores and that's really bad for your hair. So now we want to make sure to take this step of cleaning the surface prior to applying any numbing cream, because, especially for the hairline there's a lot of oils on the surface. So you want to kind of clean that or any kind of debris before kind of like getting in the way of the numbing cream. So right now we're applying the numbing cream on the surface and we want to make sure we're kind of bringing it out a little more than the area that were micro, bleeding things miche for beauty. I know we got ta be 29 forever. You know it's hard! Being almond okay, so I can't take a shower for a few days right, folding, two full days. Yeah. Can I work out no for one week you can't do any heavy already, oh wow, so how long does the hairline Micro bleeding less and how often do you have to get it redone I browsed on average one to two years, but actually it might be a Little less further narrowing because people tend to you know wash a little more vigorously when they're showering. The shampoo can kind of affect that as well. I'M going Anushka shoes, my LP bag and wash hae suit set, and these are from Lizzie Fortunato, and this hat is provided by a hair, permanent makeup. Everyone gets things done so if I walked into a coffee shop in Hollywood or downtown. Looking like this, everyone would be staring at me, but apparently this is the Norman key challenge. Welcome to Cape Town. I love you. Do you feel like Americans when they come in here? They all want like super arched brows. So we just finished a round of micro. Blame for the hairline we're going to apply a layer of numbing cream on it just kind of let it sit for a bit. This also helps with the paint, but not only the pain, but also the redness as well. Okay and do are you guys gon na, go in again yeah, so we're gon na clean that up and then we're gon na see the result. If you need more, then we're gon na go ahead and okay, so just like a waiting game, yeah. Okay, that wasn't that bad Wow yeah, that's incredible. It is so crazy, so cut out. The secret is simple: you loserman diamond Geneva tonight yeah. I could okay, I transfer to get them named Hannah caller answer. The three Roy's holy educate, try a hand, hand I'm a pimento, your voyage image of a gigantic Monica they're gon na dry, my hair, to show me how a doctor looks like. Can you tell the difference? Oh, so this is before look how bald this part. As I was yeah. That'S crazy right! It'S no kind of crazy the shape of your face, this different yeah, it's different because it's so cool, I'm addicted. I want more, but all can I do. I was dressed. I would never let you borrow my iPad again just because you have money to repurchase. Another iPad for doesn't mean anything just jealousy take care of her stuff.

Chriselle Lim: I finally got my hairline microbladed after you guys requested it in my past #CatchinupwithChris episode where I got my eyebrows microbladed. Ambra: Getting old sucks and all the upkeep a woman has to go through to stay youthful is brutal on her time and wallet!

Bonnie Kirshenberg: Wow. I've never noticed the receding hairline until the before and after pictures. You look gorgeous and those eyebrows are amazing. I can see why one can become addicted to this. The most important thing is that you are happy!

Sheila Red: WOW! I didn't know this was a "thing"... thanks so much for sharing!! I may have to try this out too! xoxo

uptowngirl1313: i love that this is a thing now, i feel like it will help so many men and women feel more confident. Its such an easy solution

Elvira Watson: Kudos!! You rock girl for showing this procedure and many of us feel insecure, you are addressing something that we as women feel so shy about voicing our hair loss concerns! Love you! I’ve been a subscriber for many years now and do so enjoy the amazing content in you videos! Your hair looks amazing btw!

karin paredes: Youre honestly so amazing for sharing your secrets & journey! You help & inspire others. Usually people are afraid to say or share their insecurities, you’re very courageous.

Maria Suarez: You look great! The results look so natural. Thanks for being so transparent on such a touchy subject. You look fab!

Diana Cho: It looks so good!!! I love how the beauty industry helps people feel more confident. I believe in loving yourself but if there’s something out there that’s safe, but also makes you feel 100% then why not?! Please do an update vid!! ❤️☺️

Sheilla Olga: The confidence walk at 4:17

C L: I had my eyebrows done this spring, it is the best thing ever, saves so much time in the morning. For anyone who’s thinking of trying, I really didn’t feel pain, now thanks to this video, reminds me I should probably go and get hairline done as well

GREENLANTERNRIO G: THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS REVELATION !!! A GREAT SERVICE By YOU for ALL of US ...SHALOM my FRIEND ..SHALOM !

shinigamiknight: How much was this procedure?

Someone on Earth: I had my eyebrows and upper lashline done, and I didn't do any annual touch up, and the eyebrows color went away in 2 years. But I love the the microblade on the lashline, and I got another 2 annual touch ups, and now after 2 years no touchup and the color still still stay there. I love how convenience it gives me. A side note, everyone's skin is different, your skin might not take any color the 1st time you do it, and it is perfectly normal. It took me 3 times to get the color stay on my skin. If you are younger and with higher metabolic rate, the color goes away really fast especially if you use facial scrub. And it hurts even there is numbing cream!

est1420: I have a really small forehead but suffer from loads of hair loss. So I totally get why you wanted to do something about it. I'm glad you didn't keep it hush hush and tried selling some miracle product to promote hair growth. Very honest.

මේ කරුණාවන් මහත්මය: They are so beautiful

MrBeetlejuice16: NOT MEANT TO DISRESPECT! PLEASE BEAR IN MIND CULTURAL DIFFERENCES AND OPINIONS! IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH ME THAT'S PERFECTLY FINE Whilst I do think the result is nice and that people should do what makes them happy, I always get a weird, uncomfortable feeling when influencers upload content like this. I'm becoming older and I'm not really affected by stuff like this too much but I don't really see the need for influencers to document treatments like this. On one hand I think it's good to show that what you see on social media isn't a 100% accurate, but on the other hand I do believe that it's just adding fuel to the fire and most people will just add another thing to their list of looking 'insta perfect' in everyday life. While I believe viewers are able to make independent decisions and that their desire to either do something or not based on a content of a video is perfectly their own decision and responsibility, there is no denying that influencers have a certain part to play in social media world and how that affects especially younger, more insecure people who might feel like they're not good enough now because their hairline or brows are a bit "weird". Again, personally don't have a problem with this but perhaps mind your audience a little bit

HAIR OBSESSION: Soooo natural and beautiful. Where is this place

Ginger S: The next time you go there Chriselle, you'll see me there for sure. I'm getting this receding hairline of mine done.

HAIR OBSESSION: So beautiful I want it done

Rachel Ng: What does it look like now after so many years? I wanna know how it healed?

Mindy: Wow... Looks so good

Kara Behrens: you would definitely rock a buzz cut so pretty

Mix Fenix: I was actually hoping to see you get it done a little further down your forehead. I'm struggling with a big forehead too, and super look up to you, so I was hoping to get some sort of affirmation that getting a lower forehead microblade tattoo is a good idea haha.

Kim July: So cool!!

Patricia Niedrich: Hey Chriselle, I wanted to add something to the discussion. You are a new mom again, so a lot of hormones are changing around for you. I would use a DHT blocker for your hair. DHT is the thing that makes male pattern baldness, and using a shampoo or conditioner with a DHT blocker helped me out. I am post-menopausal, and 60. Last October, I lost a LOT of hair after I decided to go silver and stop dying my hair. I did do the "big chop" and cut all the old dyed, frazzled hair off and got a pixie cut as my old color (caramel blonde) would look to "silver and gold" together. NOT chic! So, my hair started falling out in gobs, so much my husband commented on it while cleaning out our drainpipes of my hair clogging our shower. I was scared, as I never experienced something like this before. I was wondering "why NOW"? I went through my change at 48 and wondered why it did not happen then? Well, you don't stay stagnant just because you are not having your period. Levels of hormones change and diminish, and my whole head of hair changed. Guess what? I am NOW growing in curly hair after having bone straight hair most of my life! I am now doing the curly hair method and it's like a whole new "me"! I talked with a few hairdressers and they said that sometimes, your hair can change due to different hormones. Who knew? I never saw anyone in my family go through this! (or any girlfriends, co-workers, mothers of friends, aunts, etc.) If you feel comfortable getting microbladed done, fine, but in tandem, use a DHT blocker conditioner, and you will find that it will be a good thing to bring hair back to the vanishing widow's peak I had last Winter, which filled in with that, and then, good sulfite free, paraben free, etc. shampoo and conditioner. It will soften and bring your hair back to life. It did it for me. Good luck Chriselle~xo from Chicago!

Anastasia Beaverhausen: Consult a trichologist, this is absolutely a specialist issue.

Lucía Zazueta: ★★★★★ ♥♥♥♥♥

Tamara Thorsen: How did it grow so fast though

Carmen Chang: Maybe you can get fringe/ bangs it hides receding hairline really well!

Mokoshh: I will be honest I would just get my hairs transplanted and I would check my hormones
