Big shout out to my fabulous patron AJ who sponsored this video and came up with the idea :) I absolutely loved it so I'm very happy to show it to you guys now!!
This is really pretty much how it goes down in the hotel room of an anime convention -- but a lot more yelling and a lot less soft speaking! XD Just stand there as I apply your makeup, armor, wig, and give you your convention badge, as well as do a few touch ups :)

Hey, are you ready to get in your costume yeah? No, I'm not cosplaying! Today, I'll just be like your manager. Oh it's a lot easier. When somebody holds your phone and your bags and stuff one hundreds of people are gon na, be taking your photo. You'Re gon na look amazing. Everyone else is already downstairs. I think they're grabbing breakfast but they're gon na. Let us know how long the line is. Yeah I've got our badges last night I'll make sure to give you yours. Oh yeah got this room Anime Boston. Um! Do you want to start with your makeup and then I'll buckle you into your armor and then we'll? Do your wig, okay, perfect. I think I go a little bit more intense. It'S time to show up in pictures. Did the last. Let me just start with the PSA: I'm gon na do a primer, but first let me do a little moisturizer. That way you shouldn't like flake, too much cool yeah. It smells and I could put this in the bag. If you want me to bring her, I think I'm bringing my camera bag today yeah. I want to take pictures, so this just goes like on like pretty much your t-zone. It'S for your pores, like pretty much like smooth that out since we're going, or you know not very realistic. Look today, we have to hide the fact that you're, human okay, so so this is the foundation. Stick um! It'S actually like foundation that turns into powder. So I'm just gon na do a little bit on your cheeks down the science and then your forehead. Okay, let me start with your forehead yeah. It'S really creamy, but then I kind of like dries into more of a delicate powder, good, just blend that in I'm going to go over your entire face foundation, huh yeah. It'S really light, don't worry, but I put it on this brush and I'm just gon na just a little at a time. Oh more, can you look up hope. Thank you. Okay, so you look pretty smooth, that's good, but it's all one color right now, don't be alarmed! That'S why I have this. This is the contour and blush color palette, so I'm gon na use these to add a lot more definition and really let me grab my little angle right. You see this little guy, so I like dip into the really dark brown swipe it up the side here. Gee their site, then I'm gon na need it down your nose. Okay, gon na go in with us peachy color, I'm just gon na lightly coat this brush with it. Okay - and I want to highlight your forehead as well as right under your eyes, cool okay, that is much better and then, lastly, I'm just gon na. Do this really bright highlight just for like really really casual it'll make you look almost like animated. Okay, do your eyebrows! This is something that a lot of people overlook when they're, cosplaying and really filling in your eyebrows and even changing the shape of them. So it's just like this little brush. I get it there. I don't move. I'M really gon na fill tiny strokes. It'S just your right side. I want to get work like much better. Okay, other side, let's see if I can match to be determined, sorry my hands getting kind of shaky. When I'm doing something really do yeah, you can hardly tell you how about on right. Okay, I'm just gon na guess the other side: okay, perfect! Okay. So what I want to do is just line your eyes with liquid eyeliner, just for like some definition, so keep your eyes open. Don'T blink outer corners, no, no okeydoke good job? Usually people are really bad at me doing their eyeliner. I think freak out um. I have this little eyeliner pop too, and I'm just gon na throw that in the back in case it actually works really well as a black lip liner when you're doing black lipstick so um. I just want to go over. Besides your face with this concealer, I'm Society missed a spot, really quick, I'm just dotting hit on each side. So the last thing we really have to do with your makeup is just do some chapstick, okay and that will moisturize your lips. I'M gon na put some loose powder, I'm just gon na press it on and it keeps your lips like this Matt sort of luck. It looks really cool, but I do the chopstick SEPA to dry out so much. I just like you. Don'T look you're, fine! Okay, perfect powder everywhere; okay, great, let's get you into your costume, so I'm packing this t-shirt in the back in case you need one yeah, it's the bleach one! It'S not! Okay with you, okay I'll back that in the back in case, you need it feel like taking a break. You don't want to come back up here. Sometimes the elevators back on it's gon na get unreal so crazy long lines, let's um do the belts. So this is gon na loop over your shoulder. Great yeah hold your arm out. Okay, great, that's what so. This is what we are going to be. Attaching the armor do like shoulder pads parents. We have gloves so here what are your hand? Okay, okay and the other one great awesome good, let's clip the armor on. So let's do one shoulder piece, I'm just kind of worried. Okay, can you like move your shoulder? It'S not fine! I think that's gon na stay! Okay! Good! Let me go on the other side: okay, let's do your wig, okay, the wig cap, which is just like it looks like pantyhose or something okay, so this is gon na go over your head and we have to just buy all of your hair up inside here. We go, you can do all right there there. You go all right, looking good like an egghead, that's what we want and we'll put your wig on yeah you're gon na be blond today, [ Applause ] like this one um. What do you want to do? Yes, which was the front that's why? So this way is the front side. This is the back side. You have straps here, so we can make it tighter, but it's too loose once it goes on, but I'm just gon na put this over your head. Okay, you got ta help me a little bit here. We go and oh behind pull it down in the back, pull pull okay great here! I will brush it out a little bit but how's it right. Now. It'S looking pretty good all right. Getting blonde hair, fibers, yeah, okay, these dishes and I'm gon na put them underneath your shoulder pads. If it's chafing a little bit, okay, sorry, I'm kind of hungry, they come back with the people's, it isn't a con without Einsteins there you go. Okay, it's not more comfortable, I know I was wearing possibly all day can be really tough, um, be here's your badge we'd, like your bypass, your head, and you need to wear your pass all the time or else they might not. Let you into some panels or events and stuff, and I really want to go to the artists alley. First, I think that okay, okay just snow a few extra threads, I didn't really catch all. I was sewing that I think this is one of my better costumes. Okay and I'll pack, these I'm gon na - let me in with them that will dry, but there should be like a cosplay um. What'S it called my cosplay HQ but like a place where you can repair your cosplay, they usually have a room for that, but I have a couple places that I want to go. I got this last time. Tasty peach, Studios, Coursera's boutique. You got ta check them out; they have some fun amazing stuff. It'S all handmade and I'll bring my um my business cards to you know just in case somebody wants to tag you in a photo. That'S why they need to forget. Okay, putting the scissors in here and the t-shirt I just well bring the breast tissues. Do you have your water bottle your wallet? Okay, all right, we're doing the masquerade five o'clock, so I think we could just probably go check out the floor. I'M just like get pictus people there's a couple of people that I want to see that are here and then we have our panel and one and after that you can get lunch from the food court and then we'll pretty much just be heading like heading over To the artists alley and stuff until he head over to the masquerade yeah, I'm really excited, I think you're gon na move in. I really do think you are. You have exactly what the judges are. Looking for, yeah, okay, I can bring this. I don't we head down now and we can take some pictures of your cosplay.
