Quick & Easy Flexi-Rod Set | No Glue Wig Install | Start To Finish Ft. So Good Hair

Recently, I did this flexi rod hairstyle dry guys, so this is a dry flexi rod, hairstyle and I'm going to show you guys the entire process. The wig comes from so good hair and when I got it, I got a ton of goodies. So, as you guys can see, I got some quick clips of wig cap and a scarf lashes, all that good stuff. But the main thing is this way, so it comes with the ball cap already attached. It has pre bleached knots and it also comes with an elastic band you're, going to see in the other clip that I actually went ahead and altered it a bit. I took up that cap and I took up the elastic band just so that I could put in my own, which you guys are gon na see in just a second. I did go back in and bleach the knot again, and this is the hair fully Co washed and air dried. So I'm going to take my metallic sharpie to kind of just indicate where I'm going to sew my elastic band near the closure just so that I could have that glueless fit. So here is the hair. Once more, I'm going to do my flexi rod set no one's going to use this. I'M going to use a curling wand that I've had for years from irresistible me and it's like there, I'm one inch curling wand and I'm just going to wrap it around the wand like so, and I'm going to use flexi rods to hold the curl in place. So I'm going to just take each section about one and a half inches wide and I'm going to just wrap the hair around that that curler, the one curler and I'm going to just allow it to cool on a flexi rod so that the curls just set And they last so that's pretty much what I am doing here. I think I used about maybe 25 to 30 flexi rods for this hairstyle. It'S really easy, quick. I don't have to wait for the hair to dry because usually what I do flexi rod set. That'S I use like, like mousse use, mousse and I'll use that to wrap the hair around the flexi rod, so that it'll be like a wet flexi rod set. But I was like you know what I don't want to wait for the hair to dry. So I'm going to use my wand curler to do the same exact thing. So that's pretty much it, and this is the finished result. So here I am going to put on the wig. I just want to show you guys how I applied my face powder to the lace, because this is a transparent lace, so it comes off a little white on my skin. So I just use a little bit of makeup and yeah. One of the best hacks with installing a wig is first styling it on a mannequin head and already how to get ready to go and then cutting your lace in sections to cut it off. It would have been easier if I had taken the flexi rods off prior to cutting off the lace, but it worked out in the end, but yeah style, your wig on the mannequin head before you put it on your head. Just to save you some time like pluck it and all that good stuff before you install it and yeah, so I'm using got to be free spray to install this leg. Alexis Jenelle here on YouTube is my go-to to watch so that I can do these bluest installs. She is thebomb.com, so yeah there was no glue, no gel, no adhesive whatsoever. I only used a got to be free spray and this came out wonderfully and surprisingly, it was like super secure. So I used my elastic band just to kind of help, mold and melt the lace, and I'm just going to pick up my curls. So I could get that big fluffy hairstyle look going so yeah, I'm just going into each section and I'm just taking apart the curls and once I'm done doing that. That'S what I'm going to remove that sedan from my hairline and kind of just make sure that the hairstyle is exactly what I wanted, which it is you guys are gon na see some of that lace, which I said before, like transparent lace, it's tricky to work With you really have to go in with like youryour face makeup powder or like lace tent just so that it could blend in a lot more with their skin.
