FOR CUSTOM WIG ORDERS
Hey everybody, so today i'm going to be doing a wig transformation and i think i'm going to do it like in real time i'm going to let y'all see it from the beginning to the end. Okay, so the wig i'm using today is a 6x6 closure wig, and i got this from the company um astrid hair. Okay - and this is a 6x6 wig, i believe, 6x6 or 5x5 have it listed below, but i believe it's a 6x6. It is um a straight wig, i don't know the inch on this hair, but you guys hair is very long and it's nice and full. So i have a little dinner party to go to and i don't know you guys should i wear my hair straight or should i put curls and i really don't know what i want to do um i did go in and dye this hair jet black. As you guys can see, like i love my hair black, i don't want my wigs like that off brown. No more, i like a nice black color and i did bleach the knots now. This is transparent lace, so i do need to go in and tint this, and i also need to pluck it just a little bit when i'm using um the 5x5 or 6x6 closure wigs. I really don't have to pluck them a whole lot. So make sure you don't over, pluck it and i did um bleach the knots. This is how the knots look now i did have to bleach the knots like. I think i bleached them twice, because the first time i lifted it, it didn't lift. So i had to go in and bleach my knots twice, but they came out pretty good. They look pretty good. I'M going to show you guys my new, like ball cap, but not a ball cap technique. I don't know it works for me because i don't like having on the stocking cap, so you you guys can see. This is how the wig looks from the inside okay, you get a big old space for lace, okay and then this is how the tracks are on there. They'Re sewn in it has a hook closure in the back, okay guys. So now i'm going to show you how i do my fake ball cap method. So since i'm wearing a 6x6, i leave my own little baby hair out right there and i'm about to use the got to be glued. You guys know the drill and i'm just going to apply this to my edges, not too much um, not too much and don't mind my braids y'all they've been in a very long time. Okay, so i apply a little bit of the got to be, and then i'm just going to literally brush the hair back and yes yeah, i'm not taking my braids out. I do have product build up, but i'm also going to do a video and show you guys how i get rid of that. Since this is a 5x5 wig, you don't want your little sideburns or whatever out and looking you know, fuzzy under your wig, then i just take my fingers and kind of slick. Everything back and i've been doing this you guys for months, like i haven't, noticed any edge loss, as you guys can see, still got all my edges, no edge loss, no um, allergy issues or nothing like that. This method is great for people that um just don't want to wear a ball cap. I don't know i just don't it'd be too many layers on my head, like i already got on a wig grip and a wig and braids, and i just it's just be a lot and you guys know i like using my wig grip because it helps protect. My hair and since i'm doing a side part today i'll just turn my wig route to the side. Okay guys, so our hair is now hardened the next step to make the fake ball cap you're gon na need some pressed powder. Now i'm using a pressed powder, it is my skin tone, but it's a little bit more neutral. You want to use like a neutral powder. You don't want something: the exact same color as your skin, because that can cause your lace to look kind of red and weird. We don't want that. So this is how the powder looks, and i have this um little brush. I'M just gon na go into the powder and literally place it on my hair, okay. So this is how i do my fake cap, as you guys can see it gives you that same appearance of like hiding your hair without having on a whole cap, because i don't know everybody might not like having on a cab and i'm one of those people. I'M gon na put a little bit of this on my um wig grip um. This is pretty much how you do it now. You can um add more layers if you want, but i like this is enough for me and you guys see how it literally gives you the illusion of a ball cap like it's crazy and, like i said i've been using this method for months. I just haven't, put it on youtube: i've been using this method for months and i don't get any hair loss. When you take your wig off with the wig remover or the alcohol, the powder comes off with it. It doesn't do anything to your hair. It does nothing, it's pretty safe, so yeah. This is how i do it, and this method works, because the glue creates like a layer in between itself and your hair and it's kind of firm. So the makeup just adheres to it. It'S really cool and when somebody does this method tell them what i learned it. Please please cause i don't get my youtube flowers but yeah you guys. I'M gon na go ahead and put on my wig. Okay, everything is already looking melty. I love it. So let me just see the placement yeah everything's, looking nice and melty. What i'm gon na do is pull this back and we're gon na get ready to glue okay. So now i'm gon na glue, my wig down and the glue i'm using is my kiss almighty bond. This is my favorite glue. I haven't put it down since i've got it because my wigs just last for so long and it's so seamless, okay. So what i'm going to do is let this dry and then i'm gon na do one more layer. Okay, so it's completely clear, so i'm gon na go in with my second coat. So once this is done, i'm going to come back and show you guys how i go ahead and melt it down. Okay, so now i'm going to go ahead and just bring down the lace, and you want to do this very carefully and then you just want to press it into place. So i'm going to take the back of my comb just kind of okay guys, so i'm gon na go in and cut my lace before i do my baby hairs, i'm just going to give you guys a look at the hair without um baby hair, because some Of you guys seem to really like my hair baby hairless, but it ain't happening. Okay, oh, don't make the mistake. I did. I touched my glue right here with my fingertip and it kind of turned it white a little bit, but you can barely see it um. I got ta go out, so this is gon na have to do for now. I'M gon na take some of my liquid mousse spritz and i'm just gon na spray it around my edges before i um i'm gon na spray it by the edges. Before i go ahead and tie it down now, i'm going to take my eap heat, hot comb and i'm just going to like press everything out, so it's nice and flat and this hot comb y'all. This is like the best hot comb i ever had. It is so hot - oh my god, it's just so hot! Now i'm going to wrap my edges with this little scarf. Okay guys! So i'm gon na give this just a quick flat iron, because the hair is already oh flawless and silky straight. So i'm using my old, reliable um red by kids, silicone styler, flat irons, these work so good on my um like straight weaves. It just makes them bone straight and so silky. So i'm just going to do this a quick pass and um when i get back on camera, y'all i'll, be all dressed up. So y'all can see my little look because i'm going to um a dinner party, my little cousin is graduating, so y'all might hear kyrie. In the background. Sorry about that y'all i got ta, be there at um what time six it's already 3. 10. So i'm running a little late, but my makeup, i'm just gon na - do a simple. I'M just gon na um put some white gold stuff on work it out a little bit. My only complaint is my unit is a little bit. I got a medium, i believe, but y'all my head is. I know my hair looked better big on camera, but my hair is kind of small, so i should have got a small cap. So this is how the hair looks after that quick flat iron and it's so flowy y'all, it's gorgeous okay, so i'm gon na go get dressed. You guys and i'll be right back! Okay, you guys so i just took my scarf off, and this is how i'm wearing my hair to my little dinner party tonight. It'S a nice little side part.
