Fake Scalp Hack Vs Screen Door Lace//Weezywigreviews

Fake scalp, regular scalp, so i am not cis, not looking like a screen door, hey guys. It'S luizy, the sexy grandma 2k and i'm coming at you today, sis with another video. This video is actually going to be a tutorial of how i do my fake scalp method. Alright. So if your interest assist, pull your chair up, get your little drink relax and let's go first of all. Let me just say i want to start off by saying i want to give credit where credit is due, so i originally got this hack from lovely brianna. I'M subscribed to her channel and probably about four years ago, when i first was starting youtube. I saw her video on how to do this fake, scalp hack, however um back, then i was wearing like the harder lace and not this soft swiss lace or the new hd, transparent lace and so the hack i was doing in in the hard lace, and i Don'T know where i fell off the bus with it, but i did somehow um so i decided the last couple of weeks. I'Ve been really struggling with my lace being clockable. So then i remembered about lovely brianna's hack and i thought um. Let me go back and try that again, but now on this new swiss lace instead of the hard lace, so what her hack was and a lot of you i'm sure, was doing it as well. Is she used scar away silicone scar sheets to put into her unit to give it a fake scalp look, and so let me show you what the scar way bandage look like it's just a bandage that uh it looks like you know, bandage material here on the Front and then on the back, it's got like the clear sheeting that you peel off and underneath here is the sticky silicone on the dressing. You see that, and so you would just put this like you know, on your parting space um and it would give it kind of a fake scalp look. So let me show you. I took a wig um that i reviewed just a couple of weeks ago and i showed you guys actually on a live. I went back to this method and put in this wig, so this was um otray's uh! Oh, what's this child's name kayla, i think her name is kaylee kayla. I don't know child i'll leave a link up here and you can watch the review. But anyway i went ahead and i took her and, as you can see i cut up. You know i cut the strip um in half or third, i can't remember, and i stuck it right down the parting space, and this is what it looks like gives it. You know it kind of helps to hide the grids and gives it a fake scalp look - and i did put you know my contour powder in the parting space, and so it does look nice. The only issue that i had with it is that it can get real that silicone on this tape can get real gummy as well, as you know, see how i had to start it kind of like two millimeters or so back from the hairline. And it's because this tape is kind of thick and i wanted to make sure that my lace was laying flat. So with that i thought hmm, i wonder if there's something else that i could use and that would be my skin tone. Well, i looked on amazon. I looked at my local drugstore and i couldn't find anything that was my skin tone, but what i did find this is another silicone bandage, but this time instead of a sheet sis, it comes in a strip which is really really good for frontals, okay and the Reason that i say that, let me show you hang on. Let me get it out of here girl. It'S because see it's a long strip as opposed to this. You know short fat dressing. I was not able to find it in my skin complexion. I found something actually a little better that we all could use for this hack. This is what the strip looks like and guess what girl is transparent. So now we got new, transparent, hd lace, wigs. Well, we got some transparent, silicone tape. Now i want to show you the difference also, besides the fact that this is a strip and this one is a sheet which makes it nice, because when you get the you know, i didn't got a little bougie and i like frontals um, so i like getting. I really love the 13x7 frontals because girl that gives you so much versatility. You can part in live your best life. Okay. So i like this because this strip is actually um six inches by one inch. So if you have a 13 by 6 frontal, you can lay this right in that parting space and it's still going to give you that whole fake scalp look all the way down your parting space, which is really nice. Now on these, what i would have to get a piece in half and i'd have to lay the second piece right behind this piece in order to get it to fit the whole parting space. If it was a frontal, this particular scar way is actually 1.5 inch by 3 inch. So if you prefer this one, because if, as you guys see now, this unit was a 5 inch parting space, so i was able to lay it in there. But you can tell i got a little spot that i didn't fill in, which i figured wasn't a big deal way back. You know this far back in my parting space, so this will still work, and if this is more, you know your liking to your skin complexion. You can do that, but i think that the silicone strip is still a better hack, because you can color this to any skin tone with your makeup, just like we're currently doing as well as this look at the difference in the thickness so with the strip. I can put it all the way to the very beginning of the hairline. I don't have to put it back a little bit so that i don't have that little lump. I can put it all the way to the front which makes this hack even better. The other thing that i like about the strip versus this one is remember: i told you guys that this the this beige one gets the silicone, gets really really gummy in it and it kind of uh beads up a little bit and it can kind of look A little yucky, but but you can still fix that by just spreading the silicone out and i'm going to show you how i spread the silicone out um, because i use that same trick on both the strip as well as the sheet. However, i prefer this method. This is 20 20.. This is 2016. okay, so i am actually in the middle of reviewing you guys, um zuri, sis's brit, which is the sister wig of this unit that i have on, which is zurich, brielle or bria. I'M sorry, her name is bria. I did do a review on her as well as a thirsty thursday update, and i will leave her review right up here for you guys just in case. You want to check it out as well. I wanted to go ahead because i was going to put my fake scalp melted in so i thought i might as well go ahead and film this video for you guys as well. So with that said, this is britt she's, absolutely beautiful. She is shorter than bria she's, the little sister. This is the big sister, so definitely make sure that you check out both reviews all right. So i'm going to show you exactly what i do with this strip. Okay, you still with me. If you are not a weezer sis, what are you doing with yourself hit that subscribe button and become a weezer and, let's just all, live happily ever after okay, so i went ahead and parted the unit where i wanted my fake scalp to go, and i put Her on the wig head and what i'm going to do is take her and flip her inside out. So i can show you how i insert the silicone strip, but also before i do that. Let me show you, i showed you guys. This is how it comes. What i do is i cut it in half right down the center and i'm just going to use half of a strip. You can definitely use this whole strip, but what i found was that it was kind of wasteful, because our parts aren't generally this. Why have this much parting space and that's totally up to you? Do you boo, but i'm going to use just a smaller piece. You get six of the long strips so i'm able to cut this in half, which gives me 12. and then in the on the sheets. You get eight of these. So if you cut this one in half, you uh would get what 16., but i'm gon na go ahead. Put it all the way in and i'm gon na curve it around okay. So let me take the wig and i'm gon na flip her inside out. Okay, i'm gon na start it right there at the beginning kind of mesh it down, and i could literally cut it right here and not even use this whole strip which, which is what i think i am going to do guys, because there's no need that. I don't really need to use the whole strip, so i'm just going to cut that and then i'm going to save this piece and use it for a different wig at a different time. The nice thing about the silicone strips and the sheets is that they're reusable. So you can definitely take this out of a wig and put it in another wig, because it's reusable you can wash it with soap and water. If you wanted to do all that, i did not, and and that's for both the strips and the sheets i did not do i haven't washed them. I just throw them away and then get a different piece. Okay - and i mean this lasts a long time, so you know: do you boo, i'm just giving you the information, sir okay? Now what i do is i take like my rat tooth comb and i take it and i press down on this um strip and i kind of press down and kind of mesh in that silicone. And what i'm doing is i'm trying to push that silicone through the grids of the wig? Okay, because it's going to fill in where the grids are and just kind of mesh and press mesh and press? And you guys sorry about that. My comb was dirty right. There this had old um got to be glued or something on it all right. Let'S see and that's what i'm going to do, and you guys see how i took that all the way back to that parting space and what i'm going to do now is flip. The wig back over and i'm going to mesh and press on the other side. Okay, what it's looking like so so far! That'S what that fake scalp is looking like without any makeup in the parting space. Okay. So can you see that so let me mesh it in more sure i get that silicone pressed in there and see you can see how the silicone is sticky, trying to get it to press all the way through, and so since. What i think i am going to do is that piece that i cut. I am going to take it and just put it across this part. Okay in case i do want to wear an updo i'll. Have this back part covered as well? So let me flip it back inside out and i'm going to add that on and press it through as well and it's kind of important to part your unit before you put it in there. So you can see exactly where you want to lay the silicone okay. So i'm going to do it like that, i'm going to take my rat tooth comb and i'm going to press that in all right. You just comb this hair. So it's not so cray cray, i'm going to show you the difference with silicone and without okay and i'm gon na put my makeup in that parting space, and i'm gon na show you now. This is what it looks like with no silicone, so you can just see all the netting and i'm gon na put it on my head and show you too, and then this is what it's looking like fake scalp. Let me put some makeup in it, and i'm also going to put it on my head just so you can really get a feel of how it looks. So i'm going to use my contour palette guys, and i also found that it works better. When i use a darker color contour on the silicone, so normally i would use this or this, but i'm going to be using this one. These two okay - and this is the darker contour powder - that i showed you and when that makeup gets on that late. On that silicone it kind of grabs it and helps it to look. Scalpish see that now, you're really going to be able to see the difference between the silicone and the nose silicone so just hold on sis. It'S the process, all right, sis, i'm back. I got it, i have the unit on my head, and so here i just want to show you. So this is what it's looking like against my skin tone. This is what is um. The fake scalp part is looking like with the silicone. Okay, absolutely love it. It looks so much better you, it doesn't look so screen door-ish and gritty okay, and then this is what it looks like as just lace, just the lace okay. So this is with the silicone strip in it, and this is with just the lace so moving forward. I will have silicone in my units because even out - and i can't show you out in the light right now, if you wanted um, because it is storming horribly bad - we have tornado warnings here right now, um and it's pouring down rain. That'S my fake scalp that i put in - and let me show you hold on this - is no fake scalp. Just regular lace see that so that's a regular lace. That'S my fake scalp she's serving all scalp. I like it so much better, but um yeah girl. It looks so much more scalpish with the silicone sheet. So you guys, let me know what you think um in the comments below, let me know do, is it garbage? Does it look good? What your thoughts are? I really like it and i like the fact that i can bring the tape all the way to the front of the hairline here, and it still lays perfectly flat look at that.
