How To Bleach Knots On Lace Wig | Fake Scalp On Kinky Straight Wig | Amazon Wig Review

In this video I show you how I bleached my knots on this amazing lace wig that I bought off Amazon!! The bleach did leak into some of the hair but that is fixable with some mascara that can be brushed over the blonde parts or you can dye the hair at another stage. All my products (besides the wig and mannequin head set) were bought from Paks store in London, but you can get all of these products from your local hair and beauty Supplier.

Hi welcome to my channel before we get started like subscribe, comment and share. Let'S do this? Yes, foreign, okay, guys, so i'm going to show you how to bleach your hair using all the products that you see here. This hair is um by miss jim. I got it online on amazon.com and this hair is amazing, like as soon as i took it out the bag. I fell in love, it's just so super soft and beautiful. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this hair is. I was thoroughly utterly impressed. It'S kinky straight and it's a 22 inch and straight out the bag. I was just so impressed, obviously it's not as thick right now because it just came out the bag, but this baby is amazed. Balls, it's human hair. So it's not um what you call brazilian hair. It is 100 virgin to be quite honest, i'm not very good with with the types of hair, um, etc, but it is 100 virgin, and it's just really great. I love it. Um, there's a lot that i can tell that this hair is proper legit, because it's super duper soft, like a stupid soft, so i'm gon na go ahead and prep the wig um. So what i've got here is a mannequin head and i'm going to just place. The wig over the mannequin head, like so like that in preparation to add the bleach to the wig. Now i put a plastic on the mannequin head so that the mannequin head itself doesn't get damaged, yeah, so yeah. So it's a bit slippery, which i expected. So if it's a bit slippery, i use these pins wig pins so that it doesn't run away as i'm doing the hair. So here we go so i just want to slightly pull the hair back like that and then place it not on the side. I do this because i don't want to die, but i want to bleach the actual hair, so i like to do this to get the hair out of the bleach's way. Okay again, i just pin that down over there and there you have it a perfectly stable, mannequin head, and this is the part i'm going to bleach over here so right, so now that i've got that, let me just show you a couple of things. This is the cream peroxide, so this is what we're going to mix with the bleach. As you can see there, and then this is the actual powder bleach. It'S the blue powder, beach, bleach. Sorry and i got this for 1.99 and i got this for 2.99 and then i got my mixing brush with the tail and i got my mixing bowl. Okay, that was one pound and then the gloves. I also got just to protect myself and my fingers uh during the bleaching process. This ribbon came with the wig so when you're done and you're putting it on, you just put on your head, like that, when you are beaming and then you're gon na slide girl. I get so excited when i do wigs like this. Oh my gosh, i get completely titillated titillated completely, so i'm just gon na put a little bit. I'M not gon na put too much of the bleach in here, because you don't need an awful lot so before i do that, i'm gon na apply my gloves and then we're gon na begin. The process. Okay, we're gon na bring in the process. Now a lot of people don't like bleaching um or are scared to bleach i've bleached, my wig i'd, say wigs in total i'd, say maybe two or three times the first time was so amazing and so perfect that i was super impressed with myself. This is what it looks like when it comes off the pack yeah, so just be careful when using this bleach. Okay, because you don't want to get it all over, your stuff bleach is still bleach. At the end of the day, i'm just going to go across the room, grab my scissors and cut the pack, i'm just going to cut a little bit because i don't want it spilling all over the place. So i'm just going to apply a little bit, as i said, i'm not going to do too much um because, as i said, it's not the whole week. It'S just the front part of that wig, i'm just gon na go according to how much i feel is needed, um yeah. So i can't tell you what the measurement is exactly, but there's still quite a lot left in there. Okay, so i'm gon na put it back in the pack, make sure when you put this leech away whatever make sure it's far away from your kids. Okay, i've got a little daughter and she loves hair. Just like a mommy and honestly, i put these things very far away. Okay, so now you need a wooden spoon or something that you can stir this with, and i just have this sheet of tissue so that if i spill or make a mistake, i'm able to wipe it up or whatever the case may be yeah. So, let's just have that there and that's the case, so i'm going to now mix the activator okay, it's a nine percent, um 30 volume. I don't know what that means, but that's what it says, but when i bought this in the store, the guy said that this is medium and what he said is that what's important is not necessarily the strength of the activator, but how long you leave it in So i'm going to time, mine, 30 minutes and i'm going to keep an eye on it, because the last thing you want to do, which i made the mistake before is i left the bleach in for so long that um yeah it started going through the hair Um strand or further down the hair strand - and i just wanted it to be on the knots so yeah - let's not make that mistake again, so i'm just going to apply a little bit. Oh my gosh see this thing's like that. Not too much. As i said, i'm not sure how much i'm just applying what i think would be enough, i'm just going according to what the paste is going to be like, because i also don't want too much. If you can wear a mask, it would be ideal because the powder is quite um, airborne it roams around, which is um, not very cute. If you inhale it, so i'm not wearing a mask, but i'm seeing that now it's a good idea to wear one. So there we go yeah, the smell is quite potent. So, as i was saying why i like to bleach knots um, i think bleaching. The knots just makes it look so much more realistic. If there's one thing i hate, i hate it. When people um put powder on the or foundation on the wig underneath um, i think it's a good method, but what i found when i did that, depending on the foundation or the powder, i guess it has like this reddish undertone that doesn't look natural to me. So, that's why i wasn't a fan of it and that's why i much preferred to do this, although that method does work like i said it just depends on the foundation you use, so don't use a cheap foundation. If you do use a cheap foundation, you find one that hasn't got that red undertone then good for you, okay, so i'm going to let this sit for a little bit. Okay! So that's my mixture, my concoction and i'm just gon na. Let that sit for a bit okay. So, as i said, try keep this away from your kids. It'S not very cute, so on the instructions it says, um, actually it doesn't say anything to the class. I guess you can apply it straight away, but i'm just going to leave it for like two minutes so that it can do its thing. Okay, so i have let her sit for um a couple of minutes. As i said, i'm just gon na let it sit for two minutes now. As i said what you want to do, you want to try. You want to try and get all the hair out of the way, because the last thing you want is for your strands to get bleached. You see that on the side, so i'm gon na just go ahead and go in with this tail comb and get these babies out of the way ironic babies, baby hair get it. I know my sense of comedy is pathetic, but hey and any other little straightaways that i see rots rots guys. I think we're good here. You can see this on there, so, let's just like get those out of the way, get those out of the way - and here comes my daughter, okay, nana, okay, so all the hair is out of the way all the strands are out of the way, and you Can see there there's no hair popping out anywhere. Can you see that? Oh my gosh, so there's no hair popping out anyway. So now i'm going to do the most scary thing here we go so i'm going to apply the bleach one, two! Okay, so, as you can see, i have bleached all those nuts and i'm going to leave it to chill for 30 minutes, so see you in about 30 minutes, then i'm gon na rinse this off and we'll see how it comes out. So, okay, so guys here is my wig. She is all done and i did give her a bit of a shampoo wash um. I haven't done conditioner anything because you know i'm probably gon na. Do that. Another time i just want to clean it and get um. It on okay, so now what i've done is i've just dried it up, so i'm gon na use my detangling brush just to get any knots out that are in there from here like so so, i'm going to put on the mannequin it's going to make life A little bit easier when i do it that way, so i'm just going to comb this back, so you guys can see the baby hairs are still there. Okay, so i have now finished blow drying. This wig says this hair. Is that and more um honestly? There'S not too much shedding that's how much shedding there is. I did use my hands to sort of blow dry, the hair, because i didn't want any excess shedding um, especially with the kinky piece. You know it's easier with a straight piece, because you know it's just a smoother flow when you comb, but with kinky hair, you don't want to be pulling and tugging and pulling and tugging okay guys. So now you can see um, here's the wig. I'Ve put it back on, you can see. The side is not plucked um over here, so i went in. You can see that the hairline is still quite thick, so i'm i went in and i plucked the sides on the other side of the mannequin and you can see the results or the difference in terms of how it looks so. I went ahead and i plugged this side and you can see it just the hairline just looks so much more natural um than the other side. So i'm going to continue. So when you hold up your hair, like that, it just looks flawless honey, i'm feeling it. I'M feeling it i'm saying: i'm feeling it. You know the bleach didn't come out as bad as i thought it was. I think it was because the um, the hair, was still a bit blonde at the time when it was wet, but as it's progressed, this just looks a bit better. So i'm going to go ahead, i'm going to go in on this one and i'm going to start plucking the sides on this side. So what i do i don't start plucking from here. I start plucking from just behind there. You see just like that, so that there just like that there we go just like that, see and then i start plucking from the sides and just start packing just like that. Okay, so i am done, and basically this is all the shaded or plucked hair that i've done um it's quite a bit, but not too much i'd, say pretty much normal but yeah. That'S all the plucking that i've done in terms of that. So now i'm going to flip the wig over um okay, so i'm gon na flip the wig over and i'm going to then um. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to take a stocking which i bought in the color tan um. It is a large i didn't realize i bought a large, but it's a large um size. This is the closest to my natural color. I think um, i'm not sure, but it it all depends on you um what your color is. So i got tan and this is what it looks like out of the bag. So, as you can see, i feel it matches my skin. It'S slightly lighter than my skin, which is a good thing, because then that way it looks a little bit more natural because the scalp is normally slightly lighter than your normal skin. So that's what i'm going to do and then i'm going to cut it. I'M going to cut it with my scissors, so i'm going to cut as far up as possible so that it goes onto the wig nicely and then i'm going to take my got to be freeze, blasting spray and i'm going to spray it all over, so that It sticks onto the wig itself, i'm just checking to see that everything is okay and that should make that nice fake, scalp look. So here we go wow when they say it's freeze, they're really not kidding okay, so i'm gon na put it on a light. So i've done all of that, so i'm just gon na cut here: okay, so i've cut that part off the big rubber band and then just make an incision over there. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, that is that i could do. Let'S see how this ends up. Okay, it's a little bit loose on this side, so i'm just going to try a little bit more, i'm guessing that is because um before i had the pins - and it was in the way - so i have to do that part again. So here we go. Okay, so do forgive me. I am going to be looking into the mirror and see how this goes. I'M gently taking off the wig from oh there and, as you can see, it's pretty stiff, but i mean it's stuck on there. Okay, like it's stuck on there, so i'm not going to turn it over yet because i just want to put on the other part of the stocking on my head. If not, then i'm just gon na use a ordinary stuffing cap, but i'm not worried about doing that. So hopefully, hopefully this will work out. Even if it doesn't it's fine i mean you don't have to put on a stocking cap. I think this i mean. That'S the whole purpose is to have a flesh looking um wig cap. Isn'T it so? Okay, look at this whatever, let's just put the wig on okay, the hair is sprayed on flat, so i'm just gon na turn this over and what i'm gon na do is. I'M gon na leave it, as is um the parts that are kind of like really spray on um and then i'm going to find a hairband. So i can cut this baby. Let me do that real, quick, i'm going to find a hairband, i'm just going to cut from here makeshift headband right here, so i don't have to leave the seat. It'S crazy, because sometimes you forget to bring these things onto your set, but no worries. So here we go: okay, alrighty! I have a very good feeling about this. I am loving it so much okay, so just a matter of where you want to place your wig okay, so okay, so you can see my wig is quite long, so i kind of have to um cut those edges, i'm not a pro at this, but i'm Gon na try my best not to miss not to mess up. So, as you can see, it really looks good um, the um. What you call this the um. What do you call this? The sides yeah the sides. I think it looks a little bit more realistic than pudding powder, but i think it's up to you what you prefer there's nothing wrong with putting powder. I just tried this new method because well you seem popular, so i'm gon na try now to cut this and see what happens so. Forgive me for coming a bit closer, but i hate this part. This is always the scariest part for me, so i'm gon na try and cut as close as possible. I think that's enough before i cut more than i want to, and then i'm going to use my razor to go in now, i'm going to go off camera because i really want to do this correctly and i really want to do it right, and i know If i'm focusing on the camera, it's going to be another situation, so, okay, so i had to go in because the tan against my skin was not looking natural. So i had to go cut off the um stocking here just here in the front and i left the rest of it on. So it still has the scalp look. So if you see here it looks perfectly great over here, but in the front it doesn't look. So nice, so i had to go in and cut off um some of that excess stocking, which i showed you and now that i have done that it just blends so well, it blends a thousand times better, as you can see, then, with the stocking right at The front it looks extra super natural, i'm absolutely loving it, so i'm just gon na go and now put in the freeze frame and we'll see how it goes, because i just want to blend that in i'm, not gon na. Do it on camera a's again because um this is not a tutorial. This is just my experience because i just want you guys to see how it works out. This method is good, putting the stocking on the um lace, but it is a bit tricky so just mind you if you do try it make sure that you cut some of the stocking here about a centimeter or half a centimeter off in the front so that It has a more natural look, so yeah i'll see you when i'm done so i'm going to cut right here. I always like to go a bit lower than what it's supposed to be, because there's nothing worse than cutting off excess and then you've got nothing to cover it up. So i'm gon na cut it over okay now make sure just need to go in a bit more. Oh we've just been wearing little pieces. Hmm! Okay! I pray this works out. Well, it's been a long time since i did this so wish. Me luck.
