I love welcome back to my channel, so I lost the beginning footage to this video, so we're gon na go ahead and jump right into this. So today I am back with synthetic Sundays, and this is a synthetic unit that I got from Sam's Beauty. This is by the stylus: it's a Swiss lace. Silk top unit in the style is Kurla licious. So I got this in a 1b and I'm just starting right now by plucking the hairline, because, as you can see, it is super duper dense. So this unit actually has Swiss lace in the world. What they're calling Swiss lace so this place is actually a little bit softer than the normal lace, that is on synthetic units like it's, not that hard kind of scratchy lace and the grids on this lace or the holes on this place are a little bit smaller Than they are on the regular synthetic units, but it's not like the Swiss lace that you would get like on a human hair. You need it's just a little bit softer than the regular hard lace, but yeah I'm just going to go ahead and continue plucking. This unit to go ahead and thin it out. It is a 4 by 4 unit, meaning that it has four inches across and four inches going back in parting space. So you can kind of maneuver the part a little bit better than you can with regular wigs. That usually have like that set part um. But yes, I'm going to go ahead and continue plucking this. If you guys want a detailed video on how I pluck I'll go ahead and leave that down below, but, as you guys can see, this unit also has the fake kind of scalp attached to it or they have it listed as a silk top. It'S not really a silk top to me or a fake scalp, but it's pretty close and it looks pretty good for a synthetic unit. But this is what it looks like so far with me. Plucking at you guys - and this is what it looks like when I plug both sides, but I was done plucking, I'm just gon na go ahead and take this dry shampoo if you're not familiar with dry shampoo and synthetic wigs. What it does is it kind of knocks away some of the shine that synthetic wigs tend to have so I'm gon na go ahead and spray this all over and then I'm just going to take this paddle brush and brush it through and now I have a Nice body wave unit because I went ahead and comb all the curls out, and I really really like it like this. You guys so now. I'M just gon na go ahead and remove the remainder of the lace in the front, and then I'm gon na take a little bit of my foundation and I'm gon na color the lace a bit cuz. If you guys can tell this lace is a little bit too dark for me, so I use the foundation as too light for me to kind of counteract it. I guess, then, I'm just gon na go ahead and fix my parting area and then I'm gon na take a little bit of some cream in nature, mousse and kind of set the part and get it to lay a little bit more flat at the top. Next, I'm gon na go ahead and part out some baby hairs, because I typically do not tack down my synthetic units because one it is a synthetic unit and they already mat like crazy by themselves. So if you tack it down, that means you have to sleep in it. That means you have to figure out a way to sleep in it without it turn it into a bird's nests, and that's just too much for me. So what I like to do is I like to use my baby hairs as my anchor and once I get it all plucked and cut, I go ahead and go in with the got to be glue, the black one, the clear one, that's in the black tube And I just use that as my anchor and use that to slick my baby hairs and then once the gel dries it just kind of holds the wig in place. I usually put my wig grip under my synthetic wigs as well, but I totally forgot until just now now, I'm just gon na play with the hairs until I get them how I like them and get them kinda as thin as possible. Cuz, you don't want to too much hairs out, pushing me back, I get them set. I go ahead and tie them down for a minute and I'm just gon na go ahead and brush the hair out and get it nice and flat and smooth how I like it. And then I'm gon na take a little bit of my foundation and go over the parting area in the hairline area, just to get it to match my skin tone a little bit more, and that is pretty much it for this video you guys, if you're not Subscribed to go ahead and hit that subscribe button and hit that little notification bell so you're notified every time.
