Tell me that my heart don't know that you've been doing wrong. Tell me that my heart, hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my channel today i have a hair video for you. This is just going to be a two-year review on this wig on my head. So, if you're interested keep watching and make sure to like comment and subscribe, we're gon na get right into this video we're not gon na waste any time and let's go so. The wig that we're gon na be talking about today is this wig on my head. This is a royal me wig that i got about two years ago. Basically, i've had it all this time, but this is not a wig that i wear often and i'm going to tell you guys why julie, i'm just going to pop up the hair specs over here. So when i did get this wig originally it was a 150 percent density, fake scalp and it's just a regular cap size. Originally, when i did get this wig, it was about believe 22 inches. I just want to go ahead and show you guys what this lace looks like. One good thing that i can say about this wig is that this was my very first fake, scalp wig, and i do believe that fake scalp wigs do maintain the longevity of your actual frontal. This hair does shed, but i realize a lot of the shedding is actually coming from the wefts in the back and not actually the frontal itself. The frontal does stay pretty full and, as you see, the hair still moves a lot but, like i said, i did get this hair originally in a 22 inch and as you see, i did actually cut it. So i just cut it a couple days ago. As a blunt cut, so now it's probably like a 16 inch and basically the reason why i did. That is because this hair has shed a lot over time and the ends are just getting thin. So i was like you know what like i wouldn't want to wear it, the way that it was looking. I don't think i have a picture for you, but i will make sure to show you a picture of what this wig looked like when i first got it because, honestly guys the hair was bomb, the hair was actually super super bomb. I would say the first year that i had it and over time i started to have some issues um, so i'm just gon na touch on all those details that i told you about the hair specs tangling. There is not much tingling with this hair. That'S the one thing i can say: as you see it moves a lot, it still has a lot of shine and luster, but cis, the shedding it just sheds two to three strands. Every time you touch it. I don't think you can see it's like it's. So small there was a time where it just was. Like i don't know every time i was putting my hands through, it was coming out and this hair gets greasy so so fast. So i realized with this wig, there's only one other time that i've had this issue, but there's some wigs that i get that cannot stand conditioner if i even put a liquid conditioner in just for a couple of seconds. Honestly, it is greasy by the next day. I could spend 20 minutes rinsing it out to make sure that it is like super squeaky clean and it would still just get greasy. So what i do with this wig, specifically um. I basically only shampoo it. I'Ve tried a couple different things, but mainly for most of my wigs, especially straight wigs. I use tresemme and i only use the shampoo no conditioner, and this is how i basically keep the hair from getting greasy too quickly. Also, when your hair is greasy, it is more likely to shed so those things are what i did to kind of prevent that. But overall, i don't think shedding is completely avoidable, especially with this wig and, to be honest, all wigs do shed to a certain capacity. Having a fake scalp did really help in the shedding department, maybe i do have a clip summer where i could show you what the hair was looking like, but i will kind of show you what the hair looked like. The very first time that i got it at the beginning about a year in and then just before i cut it and then obviously you see what it looks like now. So one thing i did want to note about this wig, and this is the only con that i might have to fake scalp wigs. This is only my first one, so i don't know if they all come like this. Basically, it's supposed to be a 13x4 frontal, but i think anyone who genuinely wears frontals knows that frontals do shed. They shed a lot, especially at the beginning of the hairline, and if you don't want to start looking like crazy person, you do have to start trimming. It as it goes and the longer you have a wig, the more that you trim the lace and eventually that 13x4 is no longer a 13x4 frontal. So basically, what happened in this situation is. The wig is just not fitting that well from ear to ear and even in this direction, and i've just had so much trouble with this wig even right now, like i kind of just threw it on, but it's not fully like it's really really hard for me To install this wig, the hair does feel really good, but didn't lay the wig, but it's just so much work because it just doesn't fit my head anymore. So this is the number one reason as to why i make sure. Now, whenever i buy a wig cap, i do not have a large head. I don't have a really big head, but i still make sure to get a medium. I would rather have more hair and more room in the back of my wig than to struggle later on with a short frontal, because i had to trim the frontal for whatever reason. So that's just my personal preference and that's the reason why i do that. Moving forward, i will show you guys just a clip of what the inside of this wig looks like right now, because i literally had to do some maneuvering like thank god that i know how to sew. I don't know how to explain it, so i'm going to try to explain it the best that i can and i'm going to use this clip to show you. But basically what happened was i had to start trimming a little bit very, very small bits over time of the frontal, but my forehead, like my hairline, starts about right here. But anyone who knows my hairline in this area is where my baby hairs are. So my hairline goes down on the sides, but it's like it starts at a regular spot at the top, and my frontals need to fit that way. That'S the only way that a frontal is going to fit on my head and not look crazy. So basically, what was happening was. I had a lot of lace on the sides, but then the top was too far down and when it was too far down, it wasn't actually fitting my head shape anymore. So like it was the most annoying thing. So i actually had no choice but to cut into the fake scalp. So that is why you see that my wig looks like this um on the inside. So all i have to say is i went through a lot with this wig. Would i buy this wig again? I don't know, maybe if i were to buy it for a bigger cap, size um, but this hair was pricey. I did spend about 400. Canadian i'd be a little more hesitant to buy from the company again just because of all the things that i dealt with, but i can give it to them in terms of hair quality, because the hair is still soft. It is a little more thinner than it was, but overall the hair is soft and it does straighten well. I can't lie. I'Ve had wigs where i've had it for this long and it my hands, can't go through it. So like this, hair is good quality. Just make sure that you're getting the right cap size for you um. So i do give this hair i'll, give it like a seven out of ten because for the most part like, if i want to wear it, i can the only downside to wearing pre-made. Wigs is you want to make sure that the cap size is fitting? You want to make sure that it's good quality hair, because if it starts shedding it's over with like there's not much, you can really do because it's a one unit. But if you make wigs yourself there's a lot of adjusting, you can do if you need a new frontal, you can swap that out. It'S so easy to do. Let me know what you guys think of this wig. Let me know if you've ordered from royal me hair what your experience was. Thank you guys so much for watching another video of mine, please make sure to comment like and subscribe.
