I Tried A Knotless Braided Wig!! *I Am Shoooookkkk

What up beauty gang african beauty here and today, i'm bringing you guys a very exciting video, i'm bringing you guys, my first ever braided wig tutorial. I don't know how this is going to turn out, but i am super excited. I have been craving braids for the absolute longest, but i didn't feel, like you know, dealing with corona dealing with the hours long in the seat, so i am so excited to be trying out fabulosity hair. Actually, this is a brand by a beauty gang member who reached out to me not too long ago offering to send me a braided wig and after i checked out her instagram page, i said sis i would be honored, so she sent me a knotless braided wig, Which is what i will be showing you guys today, but before i hop into this video, if you're new to the beauty game, you've never heard of us says we don't know where you've been at, but we are so glad they found this beauty games. If y'all hear a lot of background noise, it's a dishwasher going on and i don't really know how to work dishwashers. Nor do i think that it's okay to stop it, because i don't want to mess anything up so sorry about that. It should be ending soon. So real quick, let's go ahead and get into this beautiful packaging, nice little gold font on it in a satin bag and y'all. I was shook when i opened this yesterday to find out that they also included a freaking bonnet, a large one too y'all know i love my large bonnets and it's like an african print. I am here for this. I'Ve been needing a new one for a while. Now this is so cute. It has like a satin material lining on the inside, so i am so happy about this. My old one was getting a little dingy and stuff. It was time for a new one, so this is so dope. Now they also included in the bag a two for one edge brush, slash comb, and i love love love using these type of tools on my edges. So this is super dope. They also included a wig cap and a thank you card, so you know they definitely hooked it up. I appreciate that now, for the part y'all have been waiting for this wig is dummy long, and i was pleasantly surprised by how freaking good this wig smells like man, seeing the wig in person is even better than what i saw on the instagram account. It is so nice and it's so freaking neat and i'm not gon na lie. It also has a decent amount of weight to it as well. What i also like about the wig is: not only does it have the wig combs that are typically on every wig. It also has a built-in elastic strap, which i always find to be the most comfortable way of wearing wigs. Now, i'm going to go ahead and put this on for you guys just so, we can see what we are working with. You guys see how freaking nice this wig is putting it on my head. I'M like yo shook this wig is impeccable wow. It looks like freaking scalp gee. I haven't even tinted the lace. Yet speaking of tinting, the lace, i'm gon na go ahead and knock that out now, because i am ready for this to get on my head. Okay, now my og beauty, members already know how i like to rock in terms of tinting, my lace use a foundation brush foundation that matches my complexion and i tap tap tap blah blah blah. Then i like to go ahead and just brush the inside of the lace with the foundation that is on the brush and that's how i take my lace very easy, very simple. Now, after you're done tinting the lace you can either let it air dry for like 10-15 minutes, it's for sure, dry by then or you can use a blow dryer to speed up the process, which is what i'm going to do, because i want this on my Head asap, so this is how the wig is looking now that the lace has been tinted, i think i'm actually going to try something different. I'M gon na actually freeze spray right in between the little uh baby hair edge and the actual wig. That'S typically how i would lay my wigs anyway, but it just wouldn't be braided. I think that'll be the easiest way for me to get this wig secure, and you know what i was a little worried about how this wig would fit my head, because i'm someone who has low edges as a lot of you guys know so wigs usually have To be customized a lot to fit my hairline correctly, but this one seems like it'll actually work. I have some faith in this one. Actually, all right, let's see, let's do this to be completely honest with y'all. I don't know how this is going to turn out. I'Ve never applied a wig in this way. Now i'm going to go ahead and actually take down this braided edge just to see what we're kind of working with, because i don't really know if the wig is secured. The way it should be, if it's covering my hairline correctly, just because of the way i decided to lay it so now that the edges are down, i think it's still looking decent. I think the wig is pretty secure yeah. I think i'm ready to cut off the excess lace, though so that i can really see. What'S laying correctly and what's not, i jacked up y'all. I think i jacked up a little bit. Yeah, don't don't do this, i would probably suggest cutting the lace first. I think i'm gon na need to re-apply this wig. So let's try this again. I will be back when i get myself together. I actually decided i'm going to go ahead and brush these baby hairs back out of the way of the lace and literally just cut along the edge of the lace and figure it out from there, because whatever i was doing that that wasn't about to work, i Could already tell because my eyebrows were looking like this. That means it was like a little too much tension going on. This is what the hairline is looking like, with all the excess lace off of it now it's time to apply it and secure it for sure this time. Just so, i can see it a little bit better. I'M going to go ahead and cut down these baby hairs a little bit because i can't see a thing probably end up cutting them shorter, but just for now i know i'm not going to have any baby hairs this long. I know i'm looking a little crazy because i haven't done the baby hairs yet, but before the baby, hairs are done with the wig secure. I can see the vision for this. This is fire y'all. This is fire. I don't know how extra i want to be with these baby hairs, though these sideburns is doing a lot. I have to cut that down a little bit too actually now, after hella manipulation and some extra baby hairs put in i'm pretty satisfied with how my hair is looking, i'm no professional, as you all know, i'm not the best wig layer. So i don't know y'all can comment below what you guys think i'm pretty happy with it. I'M going to go ahead and let the edges set, though, for a couple minutes, maybe like 10, just to make sure everything is in place. I will be back to show you guys, i guess the final touches, even though i feel like you're technically seeing that right now, let's go ahead and take this scarf off and see what we're working with. I think i did pretty doggone good for this to be the first braided wig i've ever applied to myself. Did i even show you guys how long this joint gets? This is me standing on a chair. It'S to my butt. I do like that. This wig can be versatile, though, if i wanted to do half and half. If i wanted to have a little tendril sticking out here and bring it a little bit higher up there there's a lot of different hairstyles. You can do with this too, or just wear it down or just flip it to the side yeah. I am feeling this. I am i'm definitely here for it talk about a time saver. Now i will say i was letting my edges sit for a little longer than 10 minutes and the wig is kind of heavy. I ain't gon na lie. My neck is just a little bit sore. I think it's because, like i said the length that i got and just as many braids as it is, it's just thick, it's just real thick. So keep that in mind. If you decide to get this wig, the length might mean it being a little bit heavier than what you anticipated, but other than that. I am very pleased with this. Look. I'M sure it goes without saying this is a black owned brand, so make sure you are buying black and you're, putting your black dollars into black brands. I do want to go ahead and give you guys a close-up. I might be exposing myself. I ain't sure, like i said i ain't no professional, so don't hold me to that, but i just want to give you guys a closer look at what the wig is looking like, because i hate when i watch tutorials and i'm like you give me a closer Look or could you hit this angle that angle and they don't do it so i gotcha i just love how the parts just look so natural. I honestly could add a little bit more foundation to this area too, to make it blend a little bit more. I'M just being a little bit lazy, but i think from a distance. Can nobody tell me nothing now? If you all up on me, you might be able to see a little bit of lace, but it's okay. It'S still cute just a couple specks on the wig. Just so, you guys are aware. The color that was used is natural black. It does have bleach knots for a natural looking scalp.
