FTC:This is a sponsored video, containing my true feelings and opinion.

Hey guys, what's up Minh thanks for stopping by my channel Kristen Michelle today, I'm going to show you guys how I install these 12 inch faux locs on my head. But what I'm doing differently is that I'm installing it on a braided cat from shake-and-go. What I love about this cap is that, if you're not able to cornrow your own hair - or you just want to make crochet braids a lot easier, this cap is awesome. I love how the braid pattern is. They have different designs, but this is perfect for crochet Lots and my favorite part about this cap is that in-between the braids on the top there's a little bit of buzz. So it looks really really natural, so I'll be using the color 1b 30 and 27, and these are the 2x soft wavy faux locs and it's really easy to install. You can do it as if you're doing regular, crochet braids on your own cornrows. Just put a cap on the dome head: take the crochet needle put it underneath the braid put it on the latch, pull it through and then all you're going to do is take the other end and put it through the hole and pull it and make a Knot kosh, a braids, are really really easy to do. There'S so many tutorials on youtube, but what I thought would make it a lot different is having visibly a cap and it just looks so natural on your hair. I will tell you guys I in the back. I spaced it out a lot because I did not want to have really really bulky. Looking here, I used about I'll say six to seven packs of the black hair, and then I just added a few highlights with the pop of color. So I may be used on anywhere from five to seven strands of the other packages of color. But the majority of the hair I used was in the 1b shade. If you're doing this on your own head, you may need a few more packs, but luckily they're not that expensive. The hair is super soft. It definitely held the dread. I think it looks really really natural - it's not too shiny. Now what I did to make this style a little more natural is just corn boat, maybe about an inch of my hair going backwards, and then I crocheted just one row of crochet faux locs. I think this just makes it hairline look a lot more natural, however, like I said, if you're not good at cornrowing or you just want to make a wig all you're to do is just let a little bit of your edges out just cover where the band Is and then the wig looks so natural, I tried it both ways, but I just think it looks really really nice just having the first row crochet braids in your hair and I'm not the best cornrow er. So it was really easy to do. I just braided about an inch and then the rest. I just turned into a regular single braid and I just put it into a ponytail. This took me, maybe about 10 minutes to do so after I've done my eyebrows, my nails, my makeup now it's time to go ahead and throw on our wig, this wig does not have any combs at all, which is great if you're trying to protect your edges. So all I'm gon na be doing is using some bobby pins to hold it in place. Like I said before, i spaced out a lot in the back, but once you throw the hair over its all covered up, I didn't want this big chunky, dreadlock. Looking kind of wig, but I think it looks so natural. I love the construction of this braided way and now I feel like all my crocheted wigs are probably going to be done on a braided cap and, like I said before, Shaco has different styles and I just love this wavy texture. I love that. It'S short, it's just something different and, as you can see, is pretty much undetectable and look how natural that hairline looks now right there before the marley hair fuzz. That starts in between the braids begin. You'Ll see a little bit of the band, so I'm just adding just a little bit of my favorite concealer to just hide it and I'm just gon na blend it off-camera and pretty much that was about it. The way took me less than an hour to make it took me less than an hour to install lose. Took me 15 minutes to like do the front of my hair and pop the wig on and there's so many different styles that you can do. I love the pop of color. I love the fullness. It'S just. This was a really really good deal working with shaking go. I really really liked how this came out and, of course you could do different styles and just showing you guys, you can flip it over. You can put it up in a bun if you want to, and you can't tell me that, doesn't look like a crochet wig, I'm so curious about your opinion. Let me know down below. Have you guys tried any of the braided caps from shake-and-go, and also you know you can throw a cute hat on. You can do whatever you want with this style, you can do a half updo to have fun with it anyway guys. Thank you so much for watching as always happy I'll be here joining and I hope to see you guys in the next video bye, adding by kind of like my hair, really really big. So I didn't add: um like gel or anything but just a nice curling cream right now, because I have the bun you can't see. The closure by will include some clips. What they here look

MsRosie34: I recently saw these caps and was wondering about how it would look and you have answered my questions. I refuse to pay somebody $250-$400 to do crochet locs. Thank you so much! Great video.

Candace Davis: Sooo I did this with the deep wave crochet hair and it came out amazing but I actually folded the band and sewed the cap on to my corn rows so I didn't have to put any concealer, this style is very cute and I'm glad to see u slaying with this method as well, good job!

Allison Newton: GIRL I LOVE THIS!!!! I was trying to figure out what to do with my edge hair underneath and this made it click!! Lol thank you for making a short sweet to the point Poppin video!!

Towanda Outlaw: Yes girl, and it was so easy. I sewed the closure on first ,then the sewed the tracks. I thought about sewing a few rows of the cap braids together since my head is on the smaller side but I'll do that the next time. You should definitely make a video making a full one with the closure.
