Box Braid Wigs?? Feat Wigsgal Hair

Hello, you guys this is another wig tutorial, oh yeah, and my name is emily black swan. So getting into this box, braid wig that i received from wigs gal dot com i'll have their information down below. I at first was very apprehensive about this wig because i've never worn a box braided wig. You know i've always had my hair braided, but um. I did want to try it out as soon as they proposition me with the collaboration. I was very very intrigued by it and so far i have no qualms about it. So this is how the wig looks like front to back how it will sit. The back of my purse, my head, the nape, is very small, so i'm not able to do any updates with it, but this wig is able to do the updos. It has the adjustable straps, it has the combs and they also installed the extra straps. So you see that black strap right there, so be nice and snug. Just in case you do not prefer the cones in the adjustable strap, that's already installed into the wig. So this is how the lace looks like i did absolutely nothing to this wig. This is how it came immediately out the packaging. This is how it looks. I'M sorry, the baby hairs are in the way i apologize, but i was taking the wig on and off because i was just like they really sent me a braided wig. So this is how it looks on my head extremely easy to install this. Is the summer wig like i don't have time to be sitting there for four to five six hours. It depends on who's, doing it to be getting my hair braided. So that's why i was so excited to receive this wig because i was like. Ah it's true, you can actually get your hair braided up in like less than five minutes. So this is the baby hairs right. So i'm gon na go ahead and cut the baby hairs. They already had them separated from the wig for you um prior you know, so all i had to do was just cut it and adjust it. So i'm going to go ahead and do that glue. The wig down this time i didn't cut the lace first, i went ahead and glued it with my ghost bond. This is the hair glue that i always use. I get it from my local beauty supply store and i like it because it comes off easily. It comes off with water. I don't have to like buy another product to take it off, because, like baby girl, i have bills to pay. So i put the ghost bond glue on. I make sure that it is pretty sorry if the camera's like coming in and out of focus, but i try to make sure that it's coated on pretty evenly so when it's drying up, i don't have any parts that are like sticking in other parts that are Not sticking so i do that and um with all my wigs and usually like the the installations don't be there. Girl, like your wig, is not gon na slide. Nobody'S gon na clock it. So i'm gon na do that very, very easy to do now. I'M just going to place the lace in all its glory over the glue, i'm trying to make sure that it's going on the hairline of my bald cap and with this wig, i do recommend making you a bald cap to go underneath because you are going to See in between the lace because of the braids hello, so i'm going to go ahead and do that and now i'm going to cut the lace, the lace is soft. Now i honestly thought this wig was gon na, be super itchy. It'S not! It'S not itchy. The braids feel like braids. You know it feels like braiding, like braiding hair, like really good braiding hair, so not to worry about any of that um. It does have a nice little sheen to the wig as well. I don't know if that matters to some of y'all, but it doesn't look all yarny, you know. Sometimes you get your hair braided and you don't get the good braiding hair and then the hair looks kind of dry. Well, i'm not getting that this wig. So that was another plus for um me to receive. That was another bonus. Okay, so i'm just going very slowly underneath the baby hairs to cut off the lace and um, it's actually not hard, but i just wanted to make sure i wasn't cutting any of the baby hairs off, because i was afraid because, like once, it's cut off like You'Re not gon na be able to do nothing with baby hairs anymore because, like the hairs in the braids, you know so you got to be very, very careful. So i'm doing that, i'm going off the hairline. They did a very good job with the hairline, because when it came to the ears i didn't have to adjust it. I always have to adjust the ear part, and i did not have to do that. I just cut the lace exactly the way they had it. Um, where the lace was, i cut it off exactly where they, where they mapped it out and it fit over my ears just fine mind you, i do have a small head, but i do have a big forehead. So, basically, all in all it's kind of like a medium-sized wig cap. But if it's like a custom wig cap, then i probably need to get the back adjusted for it to be smaller. But the front side of my head is very much a medium for some wigs, it's a large, so i appreciate it. The wig is big head friendly. If you are somebody with um, you know more knowledge, so you don't have to worry about the wig like not fitting, because, like this wig is packed to go, you take it out the packaging and you cut the lace, glue it down and you're out the door. Okay, so for this part, i'm going to speed it up because, like i feel like i'm just drawing on and on and on so this part, i am using my gods to be gel, because you know it's got to be gel. You know you want them. Baby'S hair to be slicked down. You want to move nowhere, so i'm using that um to kind of help me make sure these these little fly away. Baby hairs, don't go nowhere. Um! Don'T worry about my makeup y'all! Okay! This is not the wigs. The video is not about makeup because, like you, can kind of see the glass to be gel getting on my makeup, but that's an easy adjustment. I just take my um foundation brush and i just lightly sweep it over any part. That kind of got any part that my makeup got messed up, because i didn't clean off that part. That'S what you're supposed to do when you're, putting on your wigs, clean off your perimeter of your forehead with like um alcohol or makeup, wipe and then apply the wig. I didn't do that so do as i say now as i do, i guess one of them things so i'm gon na go ahead and do that using a um using an edge brush and i'm just i'm just trying to do what i can girl like. I'M definitely not, i always say that, but i'm really not really not expert. So honestly, if i can get her to lay down then honey that says a lot that says a lot for the wig, because the wig has to do me. I can't be doing a wig okay, okay, so now i took off my silk scarf, the got to be gel is dried down. The wig is laid down. This is how it looks like on first try. You already know. First charm, you laying your wig down. That'S the trial, honey. That'S when you know, if you can, you know how it's gon na work out, but i like it. I really do appreciate this wig. I'M really upset that i wasn't able to do. The updo like i wanted to because, like you know how gorgeous braids look when you like put them up and uh, i wasn't able to do that because, like my head that the back of my head, it starts to get a little small. So this is how this how the wig looks like at the bottom, because it's like loose hair at the bottom. You know like that kind of braiding style, and if i was able to um, you know lay down the back. This is how i'll put it i'll put it up in a bun, but i'm gon na go ahead and show y'all how it looks like, but like the back for me, it gathers because, like i'm, i'm telling you, i have a small back, the back of my Head it just gets tiny, so this is how it looks like if you do want to do that. You just swoop your braids up better than that better than what i'm showing you and then you can wear it up. So more than likely i am going to get a decorative, not this one but, like you know like a kente cloth, um, hair tie or a hair scarf head scarf and then i'll probably wear it up in a bun like this, because it looks really cute up. So yeah i'm still gon na play with it, but all in all i love it. I really think this way is so freaking cute and, like my husband, he thought i went out and got my hair braided. He was like, when did that happen because he already knows like my husband's mexican, but he already knows the struggle but yeah.
