My First Braided Wigs | Bobbi Boss Patra + Simone Ft. Beautykrew | Cassiethatgirl

Okay, I'm at a loss. I don't like these wigs that I'm trying on for you guys um so yeah, I'm just gon na be honest because I don't know how else to be so. These two wigs were sent to me by beauty crew. Thank you. So much for working with your girl, I really do appreciate it um. These are actually the very first of rated wigs. I have ever tried in my life, okay, so I was kind of excited, but a little bit intimidated, I'm not gon na lie. I was like oh sometimes reviewing wigs can be very like intimidating, because there's so many people out there that just get it right every single time like they just look good, no matter what the wig is no matter, what color the style, nothing like they just put Their own type of finesse into it and I don't feel like I'm there yet I'm just being honest, you know what I'm saying like y'all know: y'all senior you're, like I'm tryin, I'm given like an A for ever but in execution. So I feel like what I saw these cuz. I didn't know what they were sending me. So when I pulled these two boxes out of the box, I was like. Oh, you don't really got faith in your girl, okay, the two ways that I have are both from Bobbie boss. I have it this one on right here and her name is Petra and I have her in the color of Brown and she's a 13 by 7. Invisible braid flex fit cap, braided, wig, realistic, braided, look with natural baby hair and an extra-large strap for added security. So yeah it comes in multiple different colors and they are very long. These braids go past. My hips I've tried to stand up for you guys and I will insert some footage of me trying to style these wigs while I'm just rambling to y'all. So you can see like I tried, okay like whatever, but these these braids are very very long on me and I am 6 feet tall. They are past. My hips, like I, was on my tippy toes y'all, still couldn't see in the end of these braids. Ok and then the other wig is that I have is Simone and I got her in a color TT, 1 B, / 27. So so, let's just start off with Simone. She was the first week that I tried on. She is styled as like a side. Cornrow she's got all her braids to one side and she's, very, very lightweight, which I was really surprised, because I just imagine braided wigs being very heavy. As far as the cap construction goes, the comb placement was a little odd, but I think that's just because of how its styled the combs are like on opposite sides of the cap. There'S a comb in the back and then there's adjustable straps. It does not have the elastic band like Patra does so the only like straps that you have are the adjustable straps that come in basically every single way, so the lace on both of these units is a light brown lace. Originally, when I put Simone on, I was like dang. This cap is huge, but I almost feel like there's no structure to it. You know what I'm saying like it's kind of hard to explain, but I feel like it's just like a cap like there's no structure. There'S nothing holding this like it's just a solid like it's just a mesh cap, so I felt like there's nothing like there's no form or structure. I don't know how else to put it, so it just kind of like slides around and it is very, very large and I do have a big head. My head is 23 inches in circumference, and this cap is pretty big. So with this top construction, like it says, on the sock card, it is a 13 by 7 lace, front unit um. My issue with this was that the back of the braids stretch out when you put it over your head and this cap is black and it's noticeable like they stretch. It stretches out a lot, and I know that my hair is not super flat braided. You know underneath these wigs, but it just didn't look good. I don't know like. I do think that the style of this wig is cute and I can see where they were going with it, because I kind of like that, like all the braids to one side, I think that's super cute. I just wasn't impressed with like the overall execution of this wake. You know what I'm saying but um. Let'S talk about some good things, so the braids are definitely very neat: they're, very lightweight they're, all in uniform in size and at the end they are tapered and they're twisted towards the ends. So I like that the braids were neat. I don't have any like crazy. Filler, hair, or nothing like that - I have a little bit of hair, is kind of like poking out. You know from the braids, but there's not like hair in between or anything like that, there's no wet. So it's just one huge like mesh cap. So if you are going to pick this wake up for yourself, um, just keep that in mind, you might have to put some powder in between. You know the brains on the back and then I feel like it's gon na look unevenly spaced out, especially if your hair is not super super flat, underneath it I mean like flat flat like say it twice flat flat, underneath this wig so yeah. I really want to have much to say about this one. The braids are pretty long, but they're, definitely not as long as the one that I have on. I want to say when I put this wig on, they probably came down to like my waist or something like that. I also didn't love the knots cuz. Those braids are like front and center, and I just didn't like the way that the knots looked y'all can tell by the look on my face throughout the whole time that I am messing with her that I really wasn't feeling it and honestly, I didn't even cut The baby hair off of this one - I just got the lace off. I don't know what to do it this way. I don't you know what I'm saying. I have no idea what to do with it, because I just feel like it didn't it didn't. Look right on me and another thing. I said that the cap was really big, but as soon as I cut the lace off, it was in like this one like so far back on my hairline and I feel like to make it lay flat on my head. I had to pull it so far down because it's just like a it's just a mesh cap with some braids sewn on it, and I was like I don't I don't know, I don't know what what are we doing? I really don't know what to do it. This way, a part of me is my girl. You no you're, never gon na put this on your head again. So like let's be real, but then I'm like, should I try. Let me know down in the comments. Should I try like? Am i giving up too easy and my being a little punk like what's up those are my thoughts on Simone. Let'S talk about Patra, the cap construction is similar. However, this one actually has tracks in the back. The cap is very large just like Simone, but I feel the same way about some on. Like I just mentioned, it doesn't come here to ear, but it's so big like it's so big. It'S awkwardly big, like I don't feel like the shape of these wigs mimic. The shape of a head, you know what I'm saying like I feel like they constructed these wigs over a ball nobody's head is the shape of a ball. It'S like egg shape. Do you know what I'm saying like so my hairline is back here. These braids have to come all the way down here to fit down to my ears and it's still going to my neck in the back, which is crazy, but, like now, you've made my five head a three head, because my hairline is back here it. The construction is just weird and I don't understand it and I can't make it fit my head. I just can't make it fit my head. The claim that gets me is the invisible brave claim and the realistic braided look. I have gotten my hair braided before many. Many many many many many many many times I have never in my 29 years of life walked out of a salon. Looking like this, this is not realistic. There'S no part, there's no part whatsoever, and it's not even like you can like spread these apart and get a you know what I'm saying like and again you have the knotted look like the ones that I showed you on Simone all right here. If I'm standing far away, you don't know where these braids start and stop. Well, obviously, you know where they stop, but, like you don't know where they start on my scalp, you know what I'm saying and I felt like that is just not realistic and you gave us a 13 by 7, I'm tall, but there's not enough space. You know to because, when you braid, your hair, like nobody's hair, looks like this when it's braided, this looks like one of those crochet caps that people put on and then install a crochet. You know what I'm saying it just doesn't look realistic to me at all. This one did have baby hairs. I cut them clean off because I was really gon na try with this one, but again I couldn't get to fit in my head, so I just gave up. I was just what you know what I can't. I can't be messing with this because at the end of the day, it's just hair and it was getting me in a mood and I'm like it's hair. I have another big con. I guess complaint about this way, and that is what the hell is this. What is this, and it's all over the back like there's just these little hairs everywhere? So I think that's all the negative things I have to say now positives these braids are neat again. They are twisted at the ends. They'Re super neat. I don't have any like loose hair, since I don't know ones on my scalp and they all seem pretty uniform in size, but not length. Now, look at this. How is it that I have braids that are like what 30-something inches if they go past my hips and I am 6 feet tall. These braids are long, but I have some braids that stop like before my armpit. You know what I'm saying and there's a lot of them like. I don't understand why these are so short, and these are so long, and I don't even know where those braids go to, because some of the ones on the top are still long. So these ones are one of those funky ones in the middle, like you just have this one, like 12 inch brain, I see where they were going. I see the vision, but there was just a lot of bumps on the road. I don't want these units to deter me from trying braided weights in the future because I do want to, but in my arm blow No so before I let you guys go, I wanted to give you the prices for these wigs, I'm sure there's somebody out there Who could wear these slay? These look bomb and a knee, but maybe issue Simone retails for $ 42.90 on beauty, cruise website and Patra retails for $ 64.90. I really don't like being negative and most of the time I'm not like, I can really find the good in just about anything, but I mean it's very hard. Lino good, like I love, I can't I can't make it up.
