All right, you guys, let's go ahead and jump right in because it's gon na be a long video. So this is the wig cap that I'm using - and this is a full lace, wig cap with kinky straight hair and basically it's pretty much the perfect base for your DIY, faux LOC wig. I really like using kinky straight hair because the roots look more natural and it's also easier to grab and braid. So in the back, it has pretty long baby hairs so just to get them out of the way while I'm braiding the hair. I just clip them down, so I don't grab on to them. Cuz. You do want some baby hairs in the back just to cover anything. If you want to put this in a ponytail, so I'm gon na just carve out the sections. Sometimes I do boxes, and sometimes I carve it out so for this - I'm gon na carve it out because easier and then you just want to braid the hair. Now I like to go in and braid the hair first, so I can get my sections in order and I can see how many locks I'm gon na have to do and everything. But you can do this entire thought process Lock by lock section by section. If you want, you do not have to section it all out first, but for this tutorial just so that you guys can see how I section the hair, I'm gon na go ahead and section everything first, if that makes sense, but usually I don't do this. Usually I just go and do all the steps as I go so yeah when you're carving the hair, you just want to make sure that you're not stacking them directly on top of each other like so. I have two at the bottom and I have one at the top kind of in the middle so that it hangs kind of in the middle and it's not stacked on top of each other, because when you do it two stacked, then it gets really bulky. So and I'm also twisting the hair after I braided it about an inch or so, but as you can see here, I stopped doing that because it's unnecessary. So this is how many I have. I am going smaller and smaller as I get towards the front, because I, like the look of the small locs being at the front, but before I continue the front, I'm pulling out some hairs and they are not considered baby hairs yet because they're not cut. But these are going to be the baby hairs and to get them out of the way I'm gon na clip those down as well got to mention that I have already bleached the knots in the front of this wig and I have also tweeze the hairline. You want to do that before you do your fill of wig, because you don't want to have to wash any bleach out when you have the synthetic hair in and you don't want to have to go in and pull hair out when you're trying to make baby Hairs and so go ahead and tweeze and bleach beforehand. Finally, I'm done sectioning out the hair and I'm done with all the braids. So now I'm taking the clips out and I'm just gon na put the hair in a high ponytail. So I can start in the back. So now you want to take your Marley hair. This is the Marley hair I'm using, and this is the color 350. You could really use any Marley hair for this step and for the length of these faux locs, I'm gon na cut the Marley pack in half and then fold it in half. So that's gon na be the length of the faux locs before I do. The goddess end, so just attaching that on there and like I said this is the part where it could be tedious, some people, but I did want to just show how it did sections first, you could do this braiding with the Marley hair, as you section to Save time so I'm gon na braid that all the way down until I have about an inch of hair left now, I'm using human hair bundles for the ends. I love using human hair bundles for the ends, or at least a human hair mix because it doesn't tangle and the maintenance is just a hundred times better. If you can get human hair bundles. I highly recommended these bundles. I ended up using three total, so you're gon na need three just to be safe. I did use the entire three bundles for this wig, so yeah definitely get three bundles of human hair because you do have to shut it, which is the process that I'm showing right now. It'S where you have to shed all of the short hairs, because bundles have a lot of short hairs towards the weft area, and you want the hair on the ends of the locks, to be one long uniform length, and you don't want it to shed. So that's why you go ahead and shut it before you put it on there, and now I'm folding that human hair. You only need a little piece like this and you just want to fold it so that you have enough to braid onto the end of the hair. So, as you can see here, I have this in kind of real-time motion, so you guys can see exactly what I'm doing and I'm just kind of braiding it on there and want to keep braiding down until I run out of Marley hair and until the black Hair is covered as well, so this is what it should look like when you are done: braiding the hair on to the ends and now I'm taking a full length piece of Marley hair. So one that is not cut in half and with my crochet hook, I'm going to go underneath the base of that braid grab onto the Marley hair and slide it through. And now you want to hold on to a piece of the Marley hair with the braid and then just start wrapping. So it's just a traditional way of doing so locs, but making sure that you are wrapping tightly wrapping closely, making sure that no black hair is showing that's the most important part about wrapping. The traditional way is making sure that you have the same amount of tension. All the way down, I'm just gon na continue to show you guys how I do this most of the video from here on out is going to be fast forwarded, but you will get to see different parts of the wig that I do so. I want to show you some in the back I'll show you some on the side so in the middle some at the top, so you can really get a feel of how I did this and yes, all right, y'all, I'm finally done with this wig. It did take me about nine hours, because I did the sections first for video reasons and that took probably an extra hour extra hour and a half longer than I usually would take. If I were to add the Marley hair as I go and yeah I'm really loving this wig, I love how the ends are a little bit spicier than the 350 Marley hair, even though the bundles are considered 350 as well. It is a little bit of a different color, but I do like how the end result turned out if you guys want to know how I installed this wig start to finish with no hair out, then go ahead and watch my next video. All the information will be linked down below, and I will see you guys at my next video bye
