Honey Highlighted Wig Install + Honest Review | Ft. Nadula Hair

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel so for today's video i am installing and reviewing this wig um. It was sent to me by nadula hair and this is their a body wave. I believe it's just the highlight wig, but i will have um the full name in this description and down below um. I know it's 150 density and i made it look thicker than usual by adding some layers and stuff. So that's nice. This is what i usually like, but if you guys like a higher density, then definitely do that and it's a 13 by four and the lace um i do like. I will show you guys, a close-up of it in the video but um. I will show you guys a close-up of the lace, it's kind of like tinted brown, but it ended up working out for my skin tone. But if you guys are lighter than me, then it probably wouldn't work and if you're darker than me then it'll work perfectly and the hair is a body wave texture and it was really easy to work with. I actually like the color, because i feel like it's highlighted properly, because sometimes um, like some companies that have like these highlighted wigs, will have it like really really choppy and they just don't care. What it looks like like this is blended pretty well, and it looks like you know, like a professional kind of colored it so enough of me um, blabbering and stuff. If you guys would like to see how i did this look and how i installed, it then keep on watching. So the hair came in this box right here and all i had was a wig cap and an elastic band, and here is the actual hair um. This is 22 inches, i believe, and all i did was i tried to bleach the knots, but it didn't really do much, but it's okay like it came in like a light brown, so i don't even need to bleach the knots i just wanted to see. I guess what would happen, i let it air dry after i washed it, and this is what it looks like and i'm really liking it. Um, like it has some really light blonde in the front, and the lace is really nice and thin, like almost like an hd lace, but it has like a brown tint to it kind of like a dark brown like if it was like one shape too dark. It would have not worked for me, but i think i could make this work like without adding any foundation onto this or anything like the lace is really small. This one is a 13x4 but it'll still look nice and i haven't decided like where i'm gon na part it or anything. But this is the color and i think it looks really nice. So i'm gon na cut the little like where the ears are gon na. Be i'm just gon na snip that right now, because it just gets hard when you do it on your on yourself and i didn't even pluck this wig, it already came nice and plucked. So that's great, it feels very light and i don't know if that's because i was wearing like a pretty big wig or something before, but it feels very light. I think the wig i mean on the lace is going to match it's a nice hairline, though, like it fits well. I think it fits perfectly, and all i have to do is just glue this down. I'M just going to mark where i want the hair. To start and everything so using a little pencil so now that i've marked where the glue is going to go, i'm just going to go ahead and put some skin protector, and this is like a sample that i'm trying before. Like my own line, i can't really like it's not really. It doesn't exist, but i'm just trying that out right now. I literally have no idea like how i'm gon na do this. Usually i have like um like an idea of like how i want my install to look and stuff like that, but i'm literally just going with the flow just vibes today and that's pretty much it and for glue i'm going to be using bold hold and it's Almost done so, i'm just i just took off the top and i'm gon na go and apply, and i'm gon na put about two to three layers. Okay, so now that the glue is clear, i'm just gon na line the dots with dots on my forehead and then taking a comb. I'M going to press on the areas where the glue is so just like this, like. I want to press hard perfect and i'm just gon na hot comb, everything back all right and then i'm going to pull out like a thin layer. This is pretty much like the hair. That'S going to be using like baby hairs and stuff, just pull them out. So since my elastic um kind of broke on me, i'm going to be taking silk scarf and just making it really small, putting it right in between and then just tying it i'm going to leave it like this for about like three minutes just so it can. All really melt like three to five minutes and you want to make it tight. So that means it's like pressing down like the lace is melting pretty much into the glue. It'S always hard timing. Oh my gosh! All right now, it's time to take this off slide. Okay, it looks good so far, i'm just scared that the lace might be too dark once i cut it, but let's see what it looks like. Usually, whenever i get highlighted wigs, i always um, i usually put dark roots on them, but i don't know why i felt like i didn't need it with this wig. I just wanted to try it. I think just cuz like the blend is really nice. Now i'm just gon na remove the dark marks. I think it blends pretty well. Did i make my word too big now i feel, like my forehead's way too big. I think this is my normal forehead, so it's just the color when the color is brown like this. It just makes it look like your forehead's, too big, but if i this, so i'm gon na go off camera and just glue whatever is still like lifting okay. So i have everything glued down. I'M just gon na make baby hairs here so that it's not too obvious, because if the lace was lighter, it would have like worked perfectly right here, but i can still make it work. It'S not bad at all. I think i want like kind of like a messy type of baby hair look, and i also want like baby hairs in the front here, just because of the lace, so everything you kind of want to make it like diagonal and that's what makes it look more. Realistic like when you pull out the hair so instead of making this like straight, i kind of went upwards like that, because that's how your normal hairline is, but look at your own hairline of course, and match that all right. So i'm gon na put everything else back. I really want to try those like curly baby hairs, but i'm gon na have to get like a curling tool for that, so the front ones are gon na be short. Let'S go like this right now: okay, perfect and now i'm gon na take my favorite mousse. I think this is my favorite mousse, and this is the lotta body. What'S called wrapping foam and we'll start with the sides, i think this should work um just like that. All right so now i think i'm going to curl it. I did want to straighten it at first, but i think i'm going to do some like loose type of waves, so i'm going to put some heat protectant on and this is the cream of nature. Argan oil protector and just run that through everything, especially the ends and i'm just going to go ahead and curl now so so i'm just taking off the silk scarf. All i have left is the middle. I think i'm going to do a middle part. Let me just section this: it's weird. I can actually like feel if this, if it's like the right middle part or not, i know i'll, explain it, but look. I can feel on my scalp if i'm making the right middle part or not like how this is well like highlighted. Usually they just do whatever that's good, and i didn't curl them like how i normally curl my hair. I'Ve been curling, it outwards just to see what difference it's going to make, i'm so used to like curling it inwards. Okay, i think i'm done curling the hair i'm liking it so far. So that's great! I'M gon na do my edges first and then i'll do and then i'll flatten, whatever needs to be fine with a hot comb. I'M just gon na first brush out everything and then pluck. If i need to and cut them as well, these definitely have to be cut, so i just realized these are like the lori harvey edges didn't even mean to do that, but i like how this looks. Okay, so now let me just see, i don't want it to be too flat, so i'm only going to put the wax only like right here where i see flyaways and stuff okay. This is looking really cute and we're almost done. I just have to fix this middle part. Okay, i think i'm done and i'm really really liking. How this looks.
