Bridal Hair Top Pieces & No B.S. Wedding Tips With Dani'S Hubby (Godiva'S Secret Wigs Vide

Hi, i'm rochelle and i'm danielle. We are the mother-daughter owners of godiva's secret, wigs and today we're going to talk about getting pretty for weddings, whether you're the bride, the bridesmaids or you want to get dressed up. One evening we're going to do a few looks on danielle with some of our top pieces. So let's toss the bouquet and get started yay. Oh, you lucky girl over there and please stay tuned till the end, because we have a very special guest coming up in a few minutes great. I love that. So, first of all, i want to share with you what i am wearing, i'm wearing a long top. Actually, my hair is a frizzy mess under here, but you'd never know, and i made a little french twist and put my claw clip on. I mean like this cute and i could break the clip again and this is what we're calling stacking, which is adding a few pieces together like one of our amazing clients, suggested i love it. So danielle curled, you curled your hair. I did i curled my hair. Actually for this video wow, okay, so in honor of wavy curly hair today, i'm going to show you three different pieces that will be great. The first is long wavy top just wavy top wavy top, and it's got the four clips in the perfect places like we love it. If you're not familiar with our clips, you just rock your fingers back and forth. They'Ve got rubber grippers underneath and this has not been brushed or combed. This is just how you would get it, so i love to use our curly curly coat and you can just use the pick great for curly hair too. You know if you have curly hair like i do and you run a brush through your hair. You end up with a big afro. You know you know an afro, so instead i love to just use all the different parts. There'S three great teeth: ways that the teeth go: okay, so i'm going to just loosen it up and actually turn it upside down. Oh to fill it out. I i didn't know you don't say it! Oh! Well! You know what, with my curly hair, you know how we all put our head down and brush it that way, and then we come up and it's full same with your wigs same with your top pieces. So i'm just going to start. I'Ve opened the two top pieces and first we just play a minute. Oh my gosh, this is expresso and this is an amazing match. This is like a the. This is the darkest color that any of our wigs or pieces come in. It'S like a soft black. Very dark brown. I always think my hair is lighter than it and i put it on and i am espresso i'm just always expressing you're always expressive, so i want to try it. I put it a little behind danielle's bangs. I like that. I do too. I want to just show you look at the difference i feel like. I have like a good amount of hair up here. Until i put a piece on no kidding. I know i feel the same way: honey, it's okay, but i just i want to show everybody if we clipped it right at the hairline good. Also it brings more of the curl around the face and then we can use that for just playing and pulling now. I haven't even attached the back and if i want more height for something dressy, i'm not going to clip the two back pieces and it's completely, you can feel it's secure. It'S secure so from here. I could just pull some pieces up. I love it. I love it too easy and put a clip, and so let's just keep going with this look right now. I'Ve got a great little clip and, of course, with all the partying and everything you're going to want to really secure it. Well, but yes, honey. Can you turn, i know, you're in your dreams, do my best. I'M gon na have to go back the other way, though okay, so these are the pieces from i. I know her hair is dark, but we're looking for a really great look a great match. So wonderful turn to the side a little bit. I left just a little mess around danielle's ears, and that is pretty amazing and when you're thinking about planning for your wedding day and everything, there's so much other stuff you have to think about. You don't want to have to spend all the time and thought on your hair, so knowing that you can bring a piece, probably you know to a hairdresser who comes, and she can just pop this on and do an updo with added hair. I mean that's, that's so amazing right, so this is our long top our long. This is our wavy top our wavy top. Our wavy top is machine teased, and so you can tease it up even more. You can tease that baby up, but i am getting lift. Yes, so i want to show you if we did the veil with this look bye, i'm just shoving the comb over the veil in and here we go and the veil will clip right into the top piece. So it's not pulling your hair. That'S great! I don't even feel it really. No, not at all. That'S awesome yeah, so this is the wavy top. This is bringing back all the memories, i'll get the kleenex thing i might have some under here, but really beautiful. I like that. So, let's keep going and what's great with these curls too, is for those of you that do have curly hair. You know that it frizzes, but these pieces, the curl, is not gon na frizz, it's not gon na fall. I know a lot of people whose hair is not curly their their curly hair falls very easily, not falling. So you know you're gon na have these curls the whole day right. Oh, it's so cute! It is really look at this on you versus when you take it off. It'S like. Let'S take it off because i really want you to see the difference after and you didn't pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and it's quick, yes and you have it after also right, so i'm just lifting it away and rolling it down. Look at the difference. Very dramatic huge difference like it really is, and it really completes your look right. Everything else is woo and you need enough hair too. So i'm gon na do another. Look. I'M gon na put it behind your bangs this time. Let'S leave a little of this and whether you have bangs or not, i have like a long bang, but even if you just have your own hair in the front that you leave out a little bit right, you know same thing. So this time i'm going to pull danielle's hair over the piece just in sections it makes it really easy show those gorgeous earrings. These are the actual necklace and earrings from my wedding. It'S very exciting, really awesome, and then i am missing a ponytail. I want to hold it: it's okay, yeah hold it for just a minute. Thank you. Thank you assistant. Our surprise. Guest is okay in this time, so a ponytail is really important. That'S why i wanted it, because it's going to keep your hair secure and keep that height got it. I still haven't convened it's okay, everyone's taller than i am honey, even you. So she said it on camera. I did all right. You got me look at me. Just a minute, so i'm gon na leave danielle's hair, pull a few wispies, okay, so a lot of women. You just want that hair away from your face and you know we're not having an actual wedding. So it's not perfect. It'S like the one minute version. What you might do for 20 30 minutes right. I want to just show you just extra hair, now we're going to start stacking and we're going to use a secret clip and pony our secret clip and pony, and i'm leaving the clip in. But we do have a video where i broke the clip and it becomes a much flatter piece, almost like a fall, and then you can just sew our little wig metal clips into it for a flatter look. So this, then the pony is the exact same color as the hair piece as the wavy top right. So these are the color expresso. This is the darkest color we carry and all these pieces come in a ton of different colors rooted, colors, non-rooted, blondes, browns reds. Even some grays, that's great, actually i'd like you to turn around a minute here i go um any way you want. So i just want you to see. This is danielle's hair and the piece before i put the pony with it, and it's just a great look from here. I could pull all of this hair together, start twisting low, just turn a little bit for me and keep twisting and it becomes a beautiful chignon. A great mess in a way, and then you can put some of the mini rings, glitter mini rhinestone clips, which we do sell. Thank you. We sell these in different colors and i love to just play with them. You want me to turn more. No, it's perfect good, because i don't think i can. I just want to show you how beautiful you could even do a line of them, but i love just adding these even just on my wigs. Even during the day, it's a great look, and so you would just be securing your updo with bobby pins. Long ones are best, so really pretty honey. I can't wait till you see the back of this me too. So let me take these down but really easy to sweep your hair and our wavy top up. If you don't have wavy hair and you have smoother hair, our long top is so very, very close to our wavy top as far as length. But it's just smooth and actually i'm wearing the regular long top. So it's just very smooth and it's as long as the wavy top i'm showing you. So if we wanted to, we could put our secret clock clip pony secret clip-in i'll. Never remember that and it's great turn and just face me, so we can get a side view. So this is the pony and it's great so picture, even if your hair is shorter or you could trim this pony as short as the length of your hair and then it's great - and i have one just clipped on right here and thank you too thanks. So different just feel glamorous. I just like that. I'M like yes, you can come back. So let me take this down, but aren't those great looks i couldn't see the other one, but i i i have faith in her. I'M sure it was good. Yes, so many things you can do and you have a little extra hair and you know like me, i mean i love my hair, but for the days i want to have a little extra hair and especially a wedding day or a special occasion. You want to have that extra hair to to give you the opportunity to have different. More glamorous looks right, and here i am - and here she is still beautiful, but we could use a little enhancement for her hair on her wedding day or a special occasion. So now i want to show you our mono wavy top wondering if you could, i needed a flashlight, but it's just see-through. You can see all through it so right here all the hair is put on the piece hair by hair, so it makes what looks like a scalp look there. I know you can see right here. Oh yeah, i see it. Oh, i can see it really. Well. Yeah yeah all through it, so it still has the four clips you won't get as much height because it's not machine teased, but if you want a little more natural flatter look, wavy top is great and this mono baby top. Thank you, honey, and this is the dark chocolate color. This is the darkest color that the mono wavy top comes in. So, even though my hair is espresso, a lot of people have a little bit lighter color on the top on the crown, so this color will still make sense with my hair as you'll. See yes, oh yes, yes, so yeah! Even if you wanted to wear your hair down for your wedding, but just wanted a little bit of extra hair, the top pieces are perfect for that right and i could just pull a little bit twist it or braid it right up here. Oh yes, and use our little clips again just to hold it in place. You want something awesome to hold it bobby pins to hold it. Will you just look to your right a minute just to show you just play just play, so i could twist up here, put a clip twist again put another clip twist again and put a clip and you can just create whatever you want with our top pieces. So but this is a more natural look, you still can tease. Okay, you still can tease. I love it, gives you these little pieces in the front too. Now, like i, don't have as much like thick hair on the front. So just these little pieces are a great addition right and just look to your right again, so i have just pulled just like from the middle of danielle's ear. I pulled her hair and the piece and look what a beautiful thick curly wavy look you get. So you can do so many things with this piece, so i feel like if you're wanting to do more of a, i want to say a lower updo but kind of something lower than the monofilament top is really great, because if you don't want as much height On the top you're getting that machine or the monofilament, which actually looks like your scalp here and you're, getting the extra hair more in the back, where, if you're wanting more fullness on top the regular wavy top, is probably the way to go true. Okay, so just turn a little bit. Look to your right. Just wanted you to see you could just braid or put some hair down low with a beautiful clip and then we're gon na put the veil on and see what we get or like done, beautiful and so, of course, you're putting the veil wherever you want. Some women, if you're, going to have your ponytail in the back, maybe back it up right behind that and the pony will be right up there, giving your veils some extra height love it. That'S beautiful! Isn'T that pretty and you're right, our wavy top! This is the whole. This is the pieces. This is not me right here. Yeah, that's! The goal of wavy top is those little tendrils that comes just softly around your face. I don't have those, so i think those are the tips i have today. So i'm going to say mwah, i love you. So when they called him like, oh should we, you know, have video he'd ended up spending an hour hour and a half with them, and he would be helping them with planning all these different parts of the day and they would hang up the call and they'd Be so relieved like? Oh now, i know my whole wedding, like i, i know what path i'm gon na follow, so he decided to write a book with all of this first-hand information in it. Thank you so much so. Yes, as danielle said, i have been a wedding videographer for over 20 years and after shooting about a thousand plus events. I decided i really wanted to share all this incredible information with all of the people out there who are having weddings, which is a lot of you. So at the end of the day, this is a perfect excuse. Me perfect, perfect book for anyone who's engaged. Anyone planning a wedding and also parents and people who said why parents, a lot of parents, are really involved in the planning process these days and most of them have not had a wedding in 25, 30 or 40 years. So i think, reading a book that gives you some new ideas and kind of understanding what's going to happen is really important and i think that's incredible and i think you will too, as a process goes on with that being said, some of the other things we Cover is budgeting. Where do you get married, you get married locally. Do you do destination wedding? What are the pros of one verse, the other? We talk a lot about timeline in the last eight plus years, we've been married. People still talk all the time about our wedding and what made it so special and other than it being us and how incredible we are uh. A lot did everything i did everything danielle did a food tasting and that was it literally uh. It really was about the timeline making sure that everything was set to the right times, but that also our guests were engaged and had a lot of fun and things like that and that that was all about timelines. We talked a lot about timeline in the book and one whole chapter with also the uh. The timeline from our wedding is included there. Something else we discussed is photo video, a lot of people back in the day, didn't have video, and now it's very normal and videography is so important. Why? Just in the last eight years, unfortunately, we lost one of my best friends. We lost my grandfather, we also lost danielle's father and not that photography is not important, but it's two different kinds of art - and i think, when you have both it's really important and having those live. Memories are incredible and i dive into a lot more about photo and video. We also talk about bridal party and maybe the expenses that come with being in a wedding and while it's such an honor to be in a wedding, you definitely sometimes want to think about the cost of suits and dresses for bridesmaids. So maybe you get a suit like this: that's a hundred dollars and slim fit, and it's tailored you have it forever versus maybe renting a tuxedo, that's three hundred dollars and you have to return it the next day, uh we also yep. We also talk about invitations who gets an invitation. I talk a lot about plus ones. I talk about kids in weddings, a lot of things and i love my kids there's a lot of things that don't always mix and a lot of people ask us about. We also talk about coordination and vendors and tipping and all kinds of stuff, and again it's a really wonderful short, easy read it's about 120 pages. It is an incredible incredible book that i hope eases the process and really will get. You started on a great path to enjoying the planning process and not just wanting to wish it away and that's what we do. I hope you buy the book thanks babe.
